Both teams coming off big performances, felt like Southampton went all in on that draw at Liverpool and Arsenal got trashed by Jose after that victory basically. Win here would be huge for Arse, but they don't keep the sheet clean away from home...nothing crazy but a goal here is a push at worst.

Thx crow, not overly sold on this one...but Koscielny and Xhaka both likely out it looks like. Arsenal away from home give up goals, Saints aren't lighting it up at all either. Honestly preferred under initially but figured it safer to bet on Arsenal giving up at least one goal and both teams coming off such great defensive efforts.

I'm gonna try to cap this last weekend to finish this project off. Thanks to CTG, this is the first season of any sport I've done the deed, and it's a bunch of work...there's a reason I keep a separate thread for CL/Europa...this league stuff is very difficult to me and I wanted to see how much so. It's apparent...the tournament style competition is easier for me to understand. But plug away as it is, and I only wish we could employ the idea of relegation to leagues around here.

Precursor, please let Caen stay up...they will get curbstomped, but please stay up top for betting purposes

Everton are secure regardless the result...Pool should score at will too. City up 3 in GD on Liverpool so 1 goal should get the job done for third...buncha meaningless games.

Kinda plays into my line of thinking. Nothing to lose, go out and put up a number and hope for a miracle. Can't see them just sitting back, thinking it should be a loose open game. ~

Got lucky with Barca with the late goal, or unlucky with Messi missing the penalty, guess it's in the eye of the beholder. Can't believe they couldn't score in the first half, honestly thought that one was doomed at HT so the push was a relief anyway.

Today, two bad teams that give up goals at a remarkable pace, and both teams are already relegated so can't imagine the defensive effort will be there. Kinda scary asking for goals from teams that show no ability to score, but gonna hope they find it fairly easy in an open match with nothing to play for. Interesting that Pescara average less than a goal/game at home yet the team total is set at 2, and Palermo barely average 1 goal/game on the road yet their tt is at 1.5 today...and I think it's probably for a good reason. Hope so, love over in this situation, need offenses to be remotely interested.
