Vegas History, tomorrow is the 25th Anniversary of the Mirage and when I started working for Steve Wynn moving over from the Boyd group and had 22 great years working at the Nugget, Treasure Island and the Mirage. well it was great until the MGM came in anyway. Happy Anniversary to the Mirage where my wife still works.

Short Story: In those days when a new casino opened up everybody would play Mega bucks thinking it was rigged and what a great way to get the casino off the ground. Which of course is BS but a good story enough for it to convince the wife to go out and spin the wheel at $3 a rattle. Anyway (For the record my 2nd wife) my wife adding to the fact it was here Birthday and we're out to dinner anyway lets stop off and play mega bucks for a while. She said it would hit and I said how about dinner,drinks and celebrate at home in a different way. Well I won the debate and we find out the next day as sure as a bear shits in the woods Mega Bucks Hit at the Mirage on 11/22/89 and my ex till this day says in was our ship and we just watched it sail by.
