I seem to fare well on these day before plays. The additions lately have been so so.
 
Lol....you typed that about isles same time i did. Haha.

NUcks have too many offensive challenges. Isles have been playing pretty well. I think the tide may turn for them....to win a game soon. They have a few upcoming at home.

Sj price is crazy again. Might take +1.5 at even money. I’m not loving this card. SJ and Bos were only leans.
 
Add NJ to the list. I just realized Edmonton has not won more than two consecutive games all season. I like the wild at that price, but the injuries concern me.

I would’ve been right there with you had I not added New Jersey. That CBJ game was so odd. I thought it was gonna fly over halfway through the first period and then nothing. Bos and SJ were donations. Let’s get it back tonight.
 
I’m very interested in the under in Seattle. Sea has given up 6 goals in two consecutive games! They just got ran out of their own rink trying to play a wide open game against the Pens. I’d be shocked if they don’t try to play a more defensive minded game tonight. And the Isles are on last game of a 7-game road trip so I don’t expect them to push the pace. I’m guessing Sorokin vs Grubauer.
 
That ottawa columbus game...i agree was odd. That reimer kid got the start i believe in place of merlinian. He has played to really good starts although in low shot events (if memory serves). Something to watch.

Merzlinkins (sp?) Gor the start for columbus and got pulled after 7 shots sue to injury.
 
I think that is quite reasonable logic. I felt like unders would generally prevail, except for avs, given the goalies.
 
On Preds for sure tonight. Looks like neither Skinner nor Jarry will play tonight. I would play Pens if Skinner goes. Maybe Dallas. Don’t like much else at first glance.
 
Disappointed that silvos might be in net vs jarry. Should be a hood game. If gibson was going in tonights game, i woulda backed em at this price. But with talbot going ill look to over. Jets going in cbus vs desmith. Illness may be going through locker room for stars...ill pass. Buff looks like a track meet. Canes can name their score, most liky. Hate that andersen gets the start, but bussi needed a break. Ill still stab on PL. Wanted to be involved with vegas/boston but ill just watch what should be a good game. I too will be siding with nashville...see if this reimer kid has what it takes. Like the panthers here, even with tarasov in net.

Buffalo has done their part in the 1st period. Now need the habs to light the lamp.

Boston is putting one on vegas. Heard the reason they sucked so bad the last game was a bunch of the guys went out and got hammered after charas jersey retirement....or something along those lines. Didnt look into it. They rebounded, or have so far
 
I didn’t get a chance to bet the over pregame, but just added Mon live +182. They have been all over them this period and are outshooting Buff more than 2-1.
 
3-2 on the night, picking up just under a unit.

Shoulda backed off the carolina bet when bussi didnt start. Buffalo did their part, the habs tried furiously at the end to tie it up but the empty netter by Krebs stopped the rally. Lucky to win the nashville game. Down 3-1 entering 3rd period then win 5-3. Reimer finally had a hiccup after looking great his first couple starts. Close win also in both the panthers (shootout) and minnesota ov.

Couple breaks finally went my way.

Sweep! I’m liking Buff, Minny, StL and the TB/CBJ under (fav play). Lean other way with Mon and Win, but pretty much coin flip games.
 
Yeah...jet has been playing real well. Gritty hockey. If jackets woulda been around 135 or so i woulda considered at that price.
 
2-3 on the day dropping about 1.3 or so units. Wild and blues both went to extra time. Wild lost in ot, and the blues were losers in a shootout. Buffalo netted 5, and the isles failed to help. 3 close but no cigar plays.

With you on NJ and Tor. Kinda lean the other on Ott. They had a ton of scoring chances against Carolina and don’t have to try to crack Bussi here today. Maybe the over there. Ducks under on my radar again too.
 
I have vegas rated pretty high now that they are mostly healthy. Ottawa is not a pushover from an offensive standpoint. Ita their goaltending that concerns me most. Sogasrd migjt get the nod...so the over would certainly be in play there i think.

Like the idea with the ducks under especially with their odfensive injuries compounded with the flames lack of general scoring output.
 
1-3 - about 2.5 units. Pretty poor results from pretty poor efforts on my part. Going to try (keyword try) and be a little more selective leading up to the olympic break.

Ducks +220. Edmonton is a solid team no doubt. And should be favored off the b2b. But at this price? The last time edmonton was this much of a fav was tje opening game of the season where calgary was a +190 dog in a game that the flames were victors. Dont care who is in net, dont necessairily care about injuries, just took a price here.

Boston -112. Risk here is the revenge from the 9-0 or shellacking last time out. Until such a time as the rangers display some sense of cobesiveness, ill be looming the other way. Quick has to be getting gassed.

Philly/isles ov 5.5 -115. Im hopeful the isles contribute here. But im thinking there will be some good offensive output here. Philly had a nice bump in confidence by getting the w in colorado whilst roy has been trying to rally the troops after some lackluster performances.

la/cbus un 6.5 -126. I think this is too high. I like columbus here bit prefer the under. Im banking on the jet/darcy matchup to keep this a stingy total.
 
Like that under in CBJ. Hopefully we get back to a defensive game from both of these teams. Like the over in Boston/NYR and lean towards NYI

I think most teams should try to attack the rangers early and often. In their current form they lack sufficient ability to come back. If martin would happen to get the call, that makes the case for backing boston even better, imo.

You could be onyo something with that 1p wager.

Would have preferred dostal to husso, but coming off the b2b and with doatal playing 4 straight, its not suprising husso performed well against against the kings in his most recent start.

I think the pens won the netminder swap with edmonton as i dont have very high praise for jarry. Hes a bend but dont break guy. Given up at least 2 in 4 of his last 5 starts with the 5th being a shutout of the challenged canucks.

Even with the 7 game winning streak, anaheim should be a dog here. 220 is just too much, even adjusting for husso, who has similar stats to dostal.

Could be a good opportunity for a 2-game chase vs edm. Sharks come in next game and will also be a pretty significant dog. If Edmonton beats the ducks tonight, that’ll be too consecutive wins and they have not won three straight all season.

Im good with Korp in for the bruins. The talk track with him is they are trying to showcase him for potential trade bait. Hes been pretty darn good.

C-man. Good point about whose next for edmonton. You know i am all about san jose as a big dog. Minnesota and toronto are at home for them after that. They finish off @calgary before the olympic break.
 
The over probably would be a better call. I can probably find a juicy 6.

Yeah, ive been a fan of the lines i can get on the exchange. Sometimes liquidity early is not the best, but i havent found an issue in filling my bets day of.

Thinking of going back to the well with the isles again. Guess it will be a sorokin vs quick matxhup. Doesnt really change what i expect will be an isles win.

The sabres look interestimg at that price. The kings have strung together a couple wins. But 2 were against the rangers and the blues. The win over detroit was impressive. Hard to find a wrakness with sabres here.

Something is drawing me to Habs today, even before realizing avs have lost 5 of their last 7 and 7 of their last 12. Want dobes yo get the call before i consider.

If i had to make a play in boston/philly it would be un 6.5 which is yough to considet witj these 2 capable offenses.

Consider a few others. Silvos might go for pens and chicago has strung a couple decent performances together. Stars/vegas and anaheim/canucks are interesting.

Have played 2 so far. No surprise on 1 of them.

4 times buffalo has won their first game back home off a road trip of 2 or more games. They just went 4-1 on tjeir most recent roadie droppimg the first game against carolina then besting nashville, habs, isles, and leafs.

Buff is 3rd in the east witth the habs right behind them tied in points whom they will face on saturday. Might explain the appearance of a cheap sabres price. The sabres remaining games before the break after kings tonight are habs, @fla, @tb, and vs pitt. Wonder if the random west coast team littered in there tonight is a factor in the apparent cheapness.
