Oracle on Friday night will be nuts, going be hard to lay off that short number. No reason to think GSW won't shoot well at home.

I think Grizz win this one, but hate the 4.5, ill ml them with something,

LOVE the nuggets.

George Karl tore his team apart yesterday. And he might go without a center to start the game. Denver wins game 3.

Not sure about the Nuggets.
Agree that the atmosphere in Oracle will be wild.
I think that Denver has a better chance in Game 4.

I do like Memphis and Celtics obviously, playing at home, trailing 0 - 2.

I just don't see the entire warriors squad shooting that well again. Faried said that he wasnt expecting the game to be that fast paced and it caught him off guard. He will be starting game 3.

yeah, I dont think they will shoot that well either again....

what are early betting numbers on that game

Warriors had close to 70%. Hope the line stays at -1.

Regarding the Hawks.... I expect them to win game three now that they will be back at home. It's not that the team has that great of a HCA but the pacers don't fare so well in hotlanta and I think we will have another high scoring game with the hawks coming up with a close victory. Think they lose the series 4-1

Like the Nets to bounce back and win SU, Deron will have a big game. BKN good road team, CHI bad home team. Public on the Bulls too.

Like the Grizz too but not crazy about laying 4.5. It's such a bad play long term but might have to go ML.

series game=3, home team on 2- rest, previous game=win, previous points scored by both teams: 175+ ....13 str8 unders....under 212.5 in golden state/denver game

What the hell going on with the Lakers this season?
Blake, Nash, Meeks - all probably out for Game 3.
I can't remember such a season for any team ever...

Trainer said that he hasnt seen this many injuries over any 10 year period than he has in this one year with the lakers...all the starters and their backups have been injured, most serious...its crazy

The Anaheim Ducks won't feature Ryan Getzlaf, Saku Koivu or Teemu Selanne in their lineup Thursday night at Vancouver.

Fantasy owners won't be pleased with coach Bruce Boudreau for this decision, but from a team perspective it makes sense since they have nothing to play for with the regular season drawing to a close and the playoffs on the horizon. Giving them a rest down the stretch to recharge, in what has been a strange year because of the lockout, isn't a bad idea.

Game 3 home teams off a Game 2 defeat are 181-143-3 ATS (55.8%) since 1991. The strongest 'trend' of the weak Zig-Zag theory...

  • Although the Heat has won the first two games at home by double-digit margins, the scene now shifts to Milwaukee. Heat players are aware that the underdog Bucks have managed to stay close for portions of the first two games. The plan tonight is to get off to a good start and keep the Bucks and their fans from gaining an energy advantage. “Obviously, it (the opening minutes) is not going to be the only time the stadium’s going to be loud,” Heat guard Dwyane Wade said. “But we want to take that first emotional hit. If you can come out and be able to stop their run early on with the crowd into it, you can set yourself up pretty good for the game. But if they come out early and they’re on fire and we’re not making shots, you can get yourself behind the 8-ball. But there are going to be three or four times during the game where the crowd is going to get into it and they’re going to get on a run. We’ve got to be able to withstand that and not let it go on too long.”
  • Heat coach Erik Spoelstra is expecting the change of scenery to give the Bucks a spark. “We’ve talked about the importance of Game 3 quite a bit lately,” Spoelstra said. “The efficiency and effort of our last two games may not be enough to get it done tonight in their building. We have to bring more. Both collectively and individually our guys have to elevate their play.”
  • From the Bucks’ point of view, the fact they were within seven points at the half of Game 1 and within three points after three quarters in Game 2 are positives on which they hope to build. “I thought we played a pretty good first half (in Game 1) and in the second game I thought we played a pretty good three quarters,” Bucks coach Jim Boylan said. “Hopefully tonight we add the fourth quarter and have a complete game.” To do so, the Bucks need to do better on the boards. They’ve been outrebounded by 25 in the two games. “I think they’ve stretched us out a little bit, so they’re getting some second-chance opportunities on us. And we have to get back defensively and rebound as a group. We’re not a big, physical team, so everyone has to get back in there and everyone has to do their job.”
  • The Heat held its shoot-around Thursday morning at the Al McGuire Center on the campus of Marquette University. Wade left Marquette 10 years ago leading the Golden Eagles to the 2003 Final Four. He was asked if he felt any nostalgia or got to play Big Man on Campus and lead a tour for his teammates. In his 10th season of NBA play, Wade said he had other priorities. “I was just in the cold tub in the training room enjoying the fruits of my labor,” Wade said. He noted the McGuire Center is much nicer than the Old Gym facility Marquette practiced in back when Wade was there. “None of that was here when I was here,” he said. “The McGuire Center wasn’t here. We were in the Old Gym with no air (conditioning). Just heat,” The McGuire Center opened in October of 2003, just as Wade was beginning his career in Miami.

Why so little respect for little Mamba? Goudelock can score. He can't do nothing else, but he can score...

I've looked over the boxscores of the 2 Bos/Nyk games, and I think we're getting some value in the total line re a potential Over play in Boston.

Regular season games saw an avg line of 195.0 in NY & 189.0 in Boston, so a 6 pt difference between venues. Here Game 1 in NY opened 192.5 vs. Game 3 opening 185.0 & dropping to its current 182.5. That's now a 10 points difference between the venues. No question as to why the drop - Boston's twin 2nd half efforts are at the forefront of people's minds. The last thing people saw is the first thing they're remembering. The first thing they saw - 102 (53) & 90 (48) pt first halves (Bos TT in brackets) - apparently haven't been retained in those same memory banks. After a peak or 2 there's always a valley, and after a valley or 2 there's always a peak. Boston isn't repeating those 2nd halves at home. Frankly my real concern for Over in Game 3 is the Knicks dicking around while the Celts pull out their one effort in making it 2-1 (something like a 90 odd vs high 70s-low 80s final), and saving their competitive effort for Game 4 to then go back home up 3-1 & wrap it up in Game 5. But if that was the sequence to occur, then to my mind Game 4 would then be the Over (say at least 90 pts each, with the line probably dropping as low as 180.5/181 in the face of 3 straight low scoring games).

In short, I don't believe this series exits Boston without an Over result on the board (not when we're dealing with low 180s lines). My approach to how I bet it hinges on whether I'll have live total betting on the match, which I'll only find out tomorrow (my time).

up 2-0 in first 3 rounds...won by 9-11 last game and by <20 in game #1...11 str8 su and ats losses...play on: LAKERS +5

series game=3, home team on 2- rest, previous game=win, previous points scored by both teams: 175+ ....13 str8 unders....play on: under 212.5 in golden state/denver game

not first game of series...on 1 game losing streak, scoring at least 1 run in last game...14 str8 unders if not on 3+ under streak and if 4- runs total in last 3 gms. under 7 cincy/was

2nd game of series...0 runs scored in last 2 vs same team...2-5 runs scored in last game of previous series, now total>7...15 str8 unders...under 7.5 in seattle/angels

series game=3, home team on 2- rest, previous game=win, previous points scored by both teams: 175+ ....13 str8 unders....under 212.5 in golden state/denver game

So that's saying, if the lower seed (road team) wins game 2 in a game totaling 175+, and there's no extra rest, game 3 has gone under the last 13 times. Interesting.

I was going to ask you what effect, if any, you thought Karl's "tearing the team apart" would have on the total. I guess you're comfortable with the under, so I have my answer.

Defense.

But I like the nuggets more than the under. I don't even think ill play the under. I'm just posting information. Might play GS TT under.

I like the Nuggets as well - and both lines are moving. Now a pick at BM, and total is 211.5 at 5Dimes.

He came back too early to help the team. Not seen any evidence that he has dogged it at all. This ripping Howard is Looney Tunes

Stephen Curry a game-time call on Friday

1611.jpg

Stephen Curry (ankle) is a game-time decision for Friday's critical Game 3 vs. the Nuggets.

Curry is going to use all of the time he has before tipoff to get ready for Game 3, but it's not a lock he'll play. He'll have to prove that he's healthy enough to play in order to get on the court, and he could aggravate the issue at any time. If Curry does sit, Jarrett Jack will see all of the minutes he can handle.

He came back too early to help the team. Not seen any evidence that he has dogged it at all. This ripping Howard is Looney Tunes

yuuuuup. its even worse coming from retarded laker fans who blame d12 for everything.

Lol it's just not in LA. The guy is a drama queen cancer. Until he proves otherwise that's what I'm sticking with.

This been the craziest year ever I can remember as far as injuries go...

Rondo and Rose in the East, Kobe, Gallo and Westbrook in the West (Amare in NYK - though not sure if it's good or bad).
If we add all the small injuries that players play through in the playoffs, just amazing...

Boston & Memphis were the most obvious spots from all Game 3 games in my opinion.

@DonBestSports: According to oddsmaker Kenny White, Oklahoma City Thunder G Russell Westbrook is a 4-point player, which is why line has moved to Houston -1

Lol it's just not in LA. The guy is a drama queen cancer. Until he proves otherwise that's what I'm sticking with.
That's fair. Its been a rough couple years for him. Non laker fans can hate away.
i was just referring to laker fans that hate Dwight and hope he doesn't resign this summer. Just clueless

Dwight will resign. But I would want to see him carry his team on the back for one playoff win this season, with Kobe out.

If Blake was still available yes. But with Chris duhon as the starting PG I just don't see it happening. Can't hold all these injuries against him.

I think that Lakers still have enough shooters. Goudelock, Jamison, Clark (MWP) all can hit three pointers.
If they catch a hand, they can still pull it off, if Dwight and Pau will own the paint.

Spurs did a great job of denying the entry pass into the paint last game. See how officials call it, i thought they mugged dwight

But yeah, they have a shooters chance
