The big day is finally here and boy I can't wait......Although I think scheduling is completely stupid. Anyways here is how I played them, and a little insight into both.
Alabama/Michigan State: I love my big10, and I am so sick and tired of seeing Alabama and the SEC dominate. However Alabama is the right side. Michigan State QB has been beat up throughout the year, and I don't see today being any different. The bigs of Alabama are going to dominate both sides of the ball. As usual I think Alabama is going to get stronger as the games go on and just wear down a much smaller MSU team. Not to mention, it took everything MSU had to beat Iowa who is very good, but is no Alabama. Don't see this game going much different than Alabama Notre Dame did a few years ago, as they both have similar styles. Let's not forget without the miracle play or error of the year that got MSU here not only blocking a punt, but returning it for the TD. The same Michigan team who almost lost to a horse shit MInnesota team (I should know watched them all year)
Oklahoma/Clemson: Not much to say other than I think both coaches play this one a little closer to the chest than usual. I think both teams will try to control time of possession and eliminate turnovers. I trust both Qb's not to turn the ball over, and I think both defenses hold well. Although I know both teams have big play ability, I am kind of shocked this total comes in 20 points higher than Alabama and MSU. Don't get me wrong very different styles, but a game of this magnitude will not be played a complete run and gun. I can assure you won't see 5-6 trick plays and fuckery we have all watched in the sugar tits bowl and the unicorn siesta bowl.
So much more but I am at work, so just hit some brief points as I usually don't do write ups.
Alabama -10 -102
Oklahoma/Clemson under 63.5 -108
