***World Series In-Game***

Woof.

This team looks like it's about ready to quit. Not really their thing, but the reality seems to be setting in.

Anyone ever sue the fuck out of a company?

This is gonna be a thing in a couple months and not sure what I'm getting into. Curious if anyone has done it

No, but I know lawyer friends who have. If you were suing them in NV I could definitely help.

My case is solid, bunch of attorneys have contacted me

Just not sure how deep I have to go personally but I'm gonna be a dick

Talking floating in a pool and left for dead if someone else wasn't there

Concussion/PTSD in play and I'm still paying off the bills. They know it was on them, some attorney is gonna love this when I make my choice

If it's a big company, you probably shouldn't have to come out of pocket much at all. A lot of guys will want the big payday at the end, the trick with them will be to get them to agree to not take more money than you. Because if it drags out, you may end up settling for six figures or whatever, then the firm hits you with a bill for damn near the whole amount.

Yeah, I think I would definitely have the firm for you if it was here. They do a ton of PI work and are really good at it. Are you sure you didn't hit your head in Vegas?

Initially thought it was 400-500k but being told it's a million plus

I know people, will let them do the deed, not some nut on the airway

I've hit my head in Vegas a bunch lol

Reason this was concussion #23 but this one was a real situation...I'm still paying off the ambulance

Without knowing much, this sounds about right. If they have insurance you might run into a cap at some point, but first you have to jump through roughly 434,562 legal hoops. But I imagine your guys will sue to recoup all your costs, plus lost wages, pain and suffering, all that. And really, whether it's the company—or especially an insurance agency—get as much as humanly possible. The bigger the company, the more I'm sure they will try to make you earn it.

Also, fucking ambulances.

There's a reason I haven't gone down that road yet

But they basically have forced my hand. No details but I was trying to be the good guy til they forced me to be tha bad guy

This team is starting to go out with a whimper and Joe is getting frustrated. Doesn't take away from the other night, but still.

Oh yeah, the bigger the company, the more they're going to do that. Especially when their lawyers get involved. The more they can frustrate you into walking away, the better. And the more you can find a lawyer you're comfortable with just dropping the whole thing in their lap like, 'Hey, you handle this—and call me with whatever docs you need and when you need decisions' the better.

Because in some ways, that's what you're paying them for, you not having do deal with any of that bullshit.

I'm not into frivolous lawsuits especially when I have to live around these people

They turned this into a game I'm gonna win

It's an apartment complex with deep pockets Joe

They really fucked up on this one

It pains me to say this, but the Astros can get the extra two to get over the total. If we're going to lose, just hit the over and let's move on to talk about the obvious holes and things we need to fix.

They opened the pool after the initial Covid thing but didn't put any material out because it could contain the virus

That included the railings on the stairs and here it was so hot you couldn't grasp the railings...so naturally getting out of the pool I tried to lift out. Long story short my shoulder gave out and face plant. 12 stitches later and an ER bill...lucky someone was there. Was face down in the pool bleeding profusely.

I chose not to sue them (with insurance I still had $4500 in medical bills) because they were always going to be around. Now that I'm moving, I'm ready to let shit hit the fan. By my count that was concussion #23 and several new meds. Fuck em.

Best part is if they say I was drunk, they have signs saying no alcohol at the pool. Gonna win that one even though I actually wasn't.

Yeah, as long as you have it all documented. Probably the only thing it's going to cost you is time. And some aggravation, but that's what the lawyers are for. Let them take those hits. You worry on your recovery.

Man, fuck this Astros team. This is ridiculous. Jose has been hit all year. It's 7-1, and he's thrown up and in on him multiple fucking times. I don't even think this was intentional, but it also wasn't exactly not intentional, and when you're up by this many, I mean, just fuck this team.

Probably going to be some questions about whether or not Tepera should have poked the bear with the cheating comments, but honestly, I say fuck that. I hope this turns into a playoff rivalry for the next three years. Also, fuck this Houston team. Mattress Mack is cool, he can stay, maybe Dusty too because he's a baseball lifer. But the rest of 'em, fuck 'em.

Almost took Brew Crew live during last commercial.

Didn't.

That means we should see a breakthrough here.

Better team won the Sox series, just how it is. Congrats to everybody who steamed McCullers today. Definitely the right side, and the right gamble by Dusty not saving him for Game 5.

Only reason I didn't is because I have a small piece of them to win the NL. Hahaha.

I do think the Giants close it out tonight though. Will probably take the little win from this over and roll it onto that.
