Next coach will want him and I bet that's holding up the niners hiring.

Would to see him behind a decent line again. Should be improved with Davis back at RT.

He was electric those post seasons... This year was a disaster but that staff was JV and the line was trash.

I think the mental aspect is very underrated in sports.

Kaep needs 2 things to succeed.

1. Confidence (His confidence is shot right now)
2. Needs to go back to being a running QB (Wilson succeeds, Kaep faster and better athlete)

We all know he has it in him.

Buffalo. They like running QBs that can't throw

I think Tyrod is a more athletic Alex Smith... high %, good runner, doesn't turn the ball over.

If he played on Seattle we'd be blowing him like that bum Wilson who STINKS in the playoffs.

Rapaport just said on nfl network chip wanted kaepernick wherever he went

Remember when some said kaepernick to Philly a few months ago and certain philly fans told people they didn't know football....

Shit man
U must be bill polian
What a fb mind

Great, I was hoping for more politics to return to the NFL. It should compete with the constant flags to be the NFL‘s most attractive aspect

Goodness! With the eyesore that is the NFL QB, not one single person on here believes he's not a decent back up? Going on 13 years in this forum, and nothing has changed smh

My main girl Mina kimes said she thinks its them covering for a few teams who wanted to interview him, but didnt want it to leak, so its basically a sham workout so they can hide who's really interested for now

Chicago seems possible but I think that's where cam goes

I think some team will give him a contract, but not guaranteed as a starter. He has to win the job. Now if Kaepernick can't understand that then that's on him. He has to start over as perhaps a minimum wage or possibly a bit more depending upon how many teams are really intent on signing him.

Problem I see is that teams that are "rebuilding" won't want to sign him for more than a year assuming they're drafting their QB of the future.
So in reality he's looking at one year contract somewhere and if he performs well landing a slightly larger multi-year contract somewhere else. At this point, he might be stuck in the Brian Hoyer, Ryan Fitzpatrick role.
Will he take a backup QB role is the other question?

Bovada sportsbook is offering +500 odds (5-1) that an NFL team will sign Kaepernick before the end of this season.

BetOnline takes its Kaepernick prop bet a step further, listing teams it will take bets on that could sign Kaepernick. The Steelers, at +400 (4-1) are second only to the Cincinnati Bengals (+300) in BetOnline’s odds.

Another AFC North team, the Baltimore Ravens (+600), have the third-best odds among 17 teams the book will take action on.

Ya Know What @Rastaman Some Team Should Pick Him Up! Then We Can All Agree That He Should Have Stayed Away For Good. @UTSUX People seemed to forget that huh?! @mogo cause Crap was a prima donna ass-hole that would kiss his arms like he was a future hall of famer?!

My point is being physical able to play at the high level of the NFL is only part of the equation to being employed there.

I just looked at the above post...Reminds me of him wearing a Dolphins hat while still with the 49ers...

He can be a decent backup, absolutely.

He isn't going to be what he was 6-7 years ago, no.

The league is devoid of quality backups for sure.

I'm not sure what folks are dreaming about him being a Montana or Brady but he deserves a roster spot based primarily on body of work. People were actually clamoring for Cutler this season for what's worth

@Capaholic I think deep down he really doesn't wanna come back to the league. He's still making great money away from the league, and if he comes back and fails, many will say, see?! Told you so! Wait and see. If he says no to a 2nd or 3rd stringer spot, or not enough money, then we'll know he really doesn't wanna play.

So, let me get this straight. I can basically say Fuck you to every owner in the league by suing and winning a case, and they should give me a job paying whatever the backup QB makes. I know what I'm going to do when I get to work tomorrow. I'm going to March my pasty ass into my owners office, give him the ole one finger salute and tell him to lick my salty sack. I'm sure to get a promotion. Fuck him and fuck ESPN for continually throwing him on air and keeping this BS story alive.

What team could be so desperate for a backup to take someone who:

Hasn‘t taken a hit in a while (your body needs to be conditioned to take the sort of damage that NFL players inflicts) and hasn‘t played in a while
Wants starter-level pay while being a backup
Will divide a team‘s fanbase (and maybe the locker room)
Will be a media distraction
Has an evident attitude problem (as books pointed out)

Yeah, no thanks.
