LeRinkRat

Pretty much a regular
October 25th thru 28th @ Sheshan GC, Shanghai, China. a NO CUT tourney. Golf Channel coverage begins @ 7:00pm pacific time Wednesday

FIRST "major" tourney of the new season with just about ALL the PGA and Euro Tour "top guns" playing but NO Sergio Garcia off his win last week in Spain. also NO Gary Woodland or Marc Lieshman. Euro Tour entry page shows Si Woo Kim listed BUT NO odds for him which makes me think he is NOT playing.

couple of tack on "to win" bets

Julian Suri 100-1 (5/505) T-5th British Masters [-4] T-2nd Open de France [-6] (would have won BUT drove in the water on #18 final round and made a double) T-2nd Hong Kong [-10]

Gonna try and do some capping tonight into the morning...

Should be a great tourney.

think I will just PASS on tourney match plays this week. LIKE a few BUT not their odds. Brooks Koepka opened +110 over Dustin Johnson now even and -105 over Justin Rose. Brooks with a solid WIN last week CJ Cup in Korea BUT has tended to "screw off" after a win last season :(

well after the fist round "Fat Pat" Reed the leader [-8] with Tony Finau and "X" Schauffele tied 2nd [-6]. the "Matthew Mouse" Fitzpatrick sole 4th [-5] then five more Tied 5th [-4]. my "cats & dogs" best CT Pan in the [-4] group with Matt "WALL_E" Wallace, Alex Bjork and Ryan Fox all [-2] :(

will see what happens 2nd round. same TV schedule on Golf Channel as Wednesday night :)

Tony Finau the 2nd round leader [-5] for tourney [-11] three ahead of first round leader "Fat Pat" Reed [even], Tommy Fleetwood [-4] and Justin Rose [-5] for [-8], Euro Tour player Thomas "Salt" Pieters with the low round of the day [-8] for tourney [-5]. NONE of my "to win" player in the hunt. best the Aussie Ryan Fox [-2] for [-4] "Pan Puss", "WALL-E" and "B-Joke" all BLEW UP

NONE of the tourney favorites ex for Finau and Rose performing in the 2nd round. Dustin Johnson [+1] for tourney [+3] Brooks Koepka [+2] for [+2], Rory McIlroy [+5] for [+5] Jason Day [-2] for [-3] and Hideki Matsuyama [-2] for [-2]

WHAT a CRAZY 3rd round!!! looked like 2nd round leader Tony Finau was going to "blow up" early on and last years winner Justin Rose was just cruising. THEN Finau with birdies his last 3 holes to finish [-2] for [-13] and Rose finishes double #17 & bogie #18 [-2] for [-10] tied with "Fat Pat" Reed [-2] and "X" Schauffele [-3] for 2nd. Finau, Rose and Schauffele the final group Sunday with Reed, Fleetwood and of all players Andrew Putnam [-5] for [-8] the 2nd to last. Putnam and Thorbjorn Olesen the low rounds of the day with those [-5]. Tommy Fleetwood had his own adventures with a triple on the par 5 #14 and finished [even] for [-8]

should be an interesting finish Sunday :)

9 holes left

Tony up one on X

Rose has bogied two straight to fall 3 back.

Barnrat and Putnam lurking a half-dozen behind with 6-7 holes left for them.

UNREAL FINISH!!! 2nd and 3rd round leader Tony Finau with a final round [-1] and "X" Schauffele [-4] go to a playoff at [-14] and "X" WIN on the 1st extra hole when Tony drove in trap off the tee and couldn't get his 2nd on the #18 green. "X" with a perfect drive, on in two and two putt for birdie to Tony's par for the WIN. "X" was 50-1 pre-tourney. hard to believe that the "X" [-4] was THE low round the final day

defending champion Justin Rose solo 3rd with an [even] for [-10] with "A Fat Barn Rat" [-1] and Andrew Putnam [even] tied 4th [-8] while Keegan Bradley [even] got solo 6th [-7]

back to the US of A next week for the PGA players at Las Vegas for the Shriners at TPC Summerlin northwest of the city while the Euro Tour goes to Antalya, Turkey for the Rolex Series "big bucks" Turkish Airlines Open the first of the three finishing tourneys for their season :shake:

Certainly won't be a surprise when he and or Tony win a major this year. It's coming.

X was 50-1?? What in the heck?

Ya I KNOW!!! I usually play him at those "mid-odds" BUT flat MISSED it this week. played all my "Euro Trash" "cats & dogs" instead

AND agree with KJ. Tony Finau has been SO "Wicked Close" sooner or later he will break thru and "X" just seems have nose for the "Big Stage" tourneys with tied 2nd British Open, tied 2nd Players and WIN TOUR Championship in 2017
