There were actually a lot of exciting and games that hinged on a couple plays for the spread one way or the other.

Brown went for 4th-6 from the C30, only gained 4 yards, Cornell ball 1:44. 15, 21, 15 yards Cornell moves down the field, they get to the B06. After a couple shots at a TD, Cornell kicks a 25y FG to force OT. Each team scores a TD in OT1. Cornell scores TD OT2, 2pt no good. Brown is at the C05 with a 4th-1 and Big Red stuff the Brown RB for no gain and storms the field for their first Ivy win of the season 30-24! Brown as a small 2.5-1.5 pt fav, total between 50.5-56.5
Charleston Southern got two TDs in the final 6 minutes of the 4Q to take a 17-16 lead then they blk'd Eastern Illinois' would'be winning 35y TD to escape with the win.
Central Arkansas led 17-6 4Q and just stopped West Georgia on downs as the 1 yard line, but WG forced a punt scored a TD (2pt no good), forced another punt and scored another TD (2pt no good) with under 2min left to win 18-17.
If you had a UT Chattanooga - Samford total at 55.5 then the UTC 31y TD run with 1:07 left was meaningful for a 49-13 Final.
UC Davis only led 24-16 late 4Q when they were on their final possession. Got down to the Northern Colorado 16 with a first down at the 2 minute timeout, UNC only had 1 timeout left. UCD got an 11y run which would've allowed them to run out the clock, but one of their WRs was called for targeting which created a 2nd-24 at the NC30 instead of a 1st-goal at the NC04. They ended up kicking a FG with :50 left to win by 11. Closing line was 10.5
Howard scored a TD with :49 left to tie 27-27, but they had a bad snap or something on the xpt so it stayed tied! Morgan missed a FG in OT, HU got a 25y TD to win.
North Dakota led 46-10 after the game went Over 54.5/55.5 on a safety. UND closed as 30.5 pt favorite, that lost when Indiana State blk'd a punt with 16y return for TD with 5min left in the game, 46-17 Final.
Tarleton led 10-7 HT, but extended it to 31-7. Late 4Q Tarleton had a first down at the EK35, but with a 4th-4 at the EK29 they went for it and pass was incomplete. EK is going down to try for some garbage time points. They threw an INT at the T03 and it was returned all the way to the EK14 with :00 on the clock. Tarleton was favored between 23.5-27.5.
Southeastern Lousisiana had a tough game vs the spread at Houston Christian. They never led by more than 14 through the first 3Q until the end they started getting some margin in the 4Q. They took over at the 50 with 7min left with a 4Q 24pt lead. 4th down, a penalty moved the FGA further back to the 33 and their 50y FG was missed and they won by 24. SLU was favored by 21.5 to 25.5. The total was also in play.
Southern led 28-22 early 4Q, but FAMU would scored 3 TDs in less than a 3min span (FAMU drove for TD 9:08 - SU 3-out punt, FAMU 74y TD pass 6:43 - SU 3-out punt, FAMU 56y TD run 5:41). SU scored TD to trail by 8 on the plus side of the 2min warning, their D got them the ball back over 1min to go with a 4th-short stop at midfield, but on 2nd, 3rd and 4th down SU QB passed up open running lanes and threw balls in the dirt in front of open receivers.
SIU led 24-0 and 31-3. SIU fumbled at their own 34 4min to go in the 4Q, UNI scored a TD. 31-10. UNI then blk'd a punt on the next possession taking over at the SIU 20 with 1:26 and scored a TD with :39. 31-17 Final. SIU was -14.5 the announcer made reference to Scott Van Pelt and bad beats after UNI scored their TD.
Wofford fumbled at the ETSU 10 yard line at the end of a big pass completion mid 4Q and lost 10-14.
