Week 9 in the FCS

No answer from chat as they said their trading team determines release timing and only they have that info and may decide to vary release time in any given week for any reason etc etc

early FCS College Football lines I need for saturday do you know where to get em ?

Once they are posted at FanDuel someone in this thread will give the heads up. Will most likely be sometime between this morning and Friday at the latest as it varies each week.

I checked off and on throughout the night. Last time they didn’t do a Wednesday night they did Thursday night. But last year they did afternoons. So just have to keep checking.

Yeah that’s the tough part with work and life as I can do the 1am thing easier than the random during the day thing unfortunately so hopefully I don’t miss out due to meetings or work travel

All FCS College Football lines I need for saturday way before 3 hours befor game time ?

Good news is all the FCS lines will be out at FanDuel way before three hours prior to game time so you will be in good shape. Stay tuned to this thread as the guys in here are great and will let you know once the lines start coming out. Best of luck this weekend @sportman13 and welcome to the thread!

Rhode Island - Bryant was the season finale last year. Bryant came in on a 3 game ATS win streak while URI was trying to secure their first league title in nearly 40 years. URI -12 on the road won 35-21 in a game that was played closer. URI wasn't the best favorite last year and Bryant had leads of before URI got up by 7 and then added a TD in the final minutes for the 14 pt win. That was Bryant's first game vs URI as a CAA member, but they have played every year since 2021 - Rhody has won 5 straight with 24, 23 and a pair of 14 pt wins. URI enters this game off their first big blowout win of the year with lots of highlights vs Albany last week. They previously hadn't shown that kind of dominance, but always possessed that ability. Albany was the perfect victim to show it against. Albany's closest CAA loss was 18 pts and they also lost to Stony Brook by 35, so a 41 pt loss to URI is just kind of who they are right now. Not to completely write it off, URI when they hit right have lots of things to like. Bryant #1 QB still out as far as I know. They got up on Brown 12-0 before their bye in that Friday night home game, but Brown woke up 2H and won by 10. Bryant was still able to get their avg ypg with 350y. They are a better traditional running team this year and now the new QB is a runner as well so this is primarily how I would expect their gameplan to be after the bye. Surprisingly Byrant has the #1 run D in the CAA...only 1 team has gained over 4 ypc on them. It is however, not a very strong slate of opposing rush offenses and a lot of their defensive numbers are probably skewed in other categories as well...Brown, Maine, Towson not the top offenses around. And Campbell had a lot of success against them. Definitely this game goes as Rhody wants it, but Bryant is improved enough to think they could hang within some inflated spread if it were over 3 TDs. Bryant is 3-0 ATS as dogs this year, all with their #1 QB though. URI favorite ATS record could be all over the place. I have 4-3, but that includes a win by .5 and 2 losses by .5 each (avg fav line 11.3). URI season FCS scoring avg prior to last week was just 26.3 and their previous high was 38 the week prior to scoring 58. I am cautious of too big of a spread vs what is an improved Bryant team (albeit with backup QB).

I would have to believe that a William & Mary - New Hampshire total in the 50s is too high. Massey shows 52.5 and Reddit has 51.5. Sagarin 47.3 with S&P's combined score adding to 50.7. Both of these Os are very inconsistent and stall their drives a lot. Both seem to be better at running than throwing, but they aren't consistently good at running either. Consider that UNH struggled to do much vs Campbell last week, that game was just 10-9 entering the 4Q and after UNH got up 17-10 Campbell was SOD on their own 6 yardline wiht 2min left which led to another UNH TD. UNH made the most of their yards vs URI, but they only had two drives over 50y. In fact 27 pts is the most pts UNH has scored on anyone this year! Villanova held them to 7. They only scored 24 on lowly Albany. 20 on Dartmouth. UNH owns the 12th total O and 11th scoring O in the CAA, but the 3rd total D and 2nd scoring D in the league. W&M rates better offensively and worse defensively. Elon and WM combined for 47pts. A&T and WM combined for 72, but WM got 10pts off negative 4 yards of O due to a ST mistake and fumble rec, A&T also has a negative yardage possession following a fumble rec. Plus A&T is not a good D. WM and Noval combined for 55, that game had a KO ret TD. CSU - WM 41, ME - WM 55, that game had a 17y TD drive for WM after a blk'd punt. Furman - WM combined for 44. WM 3-3 on FCS totals, but they certainly have an Under feel to their team. UNH has played in Unders 5 out of 7 vs FCS with one of the Overs coming by just 1 pt (47pts on a 46 total vs Dartmouth). UNH avg total 47.3. WM avg total 50.25. Not sure who wins and why

Elon led WM 7-0, 14-3 and 14-10 HT last week but WM came away with a 26-21 win even though Elon outgained them 345-319 (5.8-4.7) with a rushing edge of 161-70 (3.9-1.9). Clark was good again, 78% over 10ypa, 2-1 ratio and led the team in rushing with 83y on 22att. He's had a couple games that were sub-50% so that was a good one for him. Elon run D has been good vs just about everyone. Villanova had their worst rushing game since the opener, Elon held them to just 137 and 3.5ypc. Nova generally can run for 220+ and 6 ypc on just about anyone. But in order to do that, Elon left their backend vulnerable. Elon was certainly in that game, led Nova 14-3 HT. Their D held Towson to just 3 pts a couple weeks ago. I generally like what Elon can do on O and D and Clark at QB. Maine looks decent enough for them this year, but they have also played some weak teams. Last time before their bye they were dogged at Merrimack and won 20-13. They were dogged at Bryant and won 34-14. They only beat A&T 37-30 as 2 TD favorites, but did lead that one 30-9 at one point. Back in mid September they LOST to Stonehill! Gave W&M a tight game that Maine led for just about all of 57 minutes of. So some positives to be had for the Black Bears, just can't love who they've sometimes done it against. Maine has shown ability lately to both run and throw, earlier in the year the pass game was pretty rough. Would like to take Elon here, wasn't crazy about them laying road pts at W&M last week, I suppose I feel a little better about it here, but again not excited to do so. Did believe that Elon was a possible bubble playoff caliber team before the W&M loss and they are doubtful to be now. Maine I never considered as such. So I come into this one with some prejudice wanting Elon. Maine has outgained every FCS opponent by an average of 102ypg...just such a weak schedule...I don't know if I play Elon or not, maybe if the right price shows.

If you are in a Hard Rock Bet state, they have released theirs about 24-36 hours after Fan Duel, usually on Friday. Bet Rivers and MGM are both Saturday. I use Fan Duel and Draft Kings the most for the US books. Nobody offshore I have seen does anything before day of game/Saturday.

sounds like monmouth could be on a BU QB this week and for some time.

From a betting perspective, I think they could be ok, Weaver kid might be good and their easy remaining CAA schedule outside of UNH should set them up for success still. As a fan for matchups in the playoffs, I hope Robertson can return at some point so they can operate at the highest level possible as competition ramps up.

The sports book will be filled with drunk Viking fans tonight

Heading down late to allow time for the goofballs and knuckle heads to clear out

Everyone can I have the links to fan duel, draftkings. FCS Lines please

You just go to their website and look for the FCS in their college football/NCAA Football listing. This is the first time this year Draft Kings has had any FCS lines before Fan Duel.

...and speaking of that, we have Columbia at Dartmouth on Fan Duel, so it begins. You might be able to go to sleep tonight early carolinablue

Tried putting $113 on the Griz-Sac Over, still limited to $76.27 on totals after I asked they remove or raise it last week. Fuckers

im going to chart these lines but with limits of $76 on totals and $127 on sides this is hardly worth it, so I wont bet any of these tonight.

I would consider betting the other way honestly trying to shape a false market so I can swoop in tomorrow with all the other books and get a real line with real limits at a much better price.

when limits were $742 or $558 that was one thing, now...they want to get the sharp action without paying for it...not interested

Actually not a bad idea as I thought it last week with BM after I couldn’t get more than a half unit at FD on sides and about a 1/4 that on totals

yeah FD being first to market is the only one to attack. so if you like harvard, bet Princeton tonight and keep betting it, driving that number down. once the real limits are out the market will be shaped and you can get a harvard -13.5 everywhere

If we all did that together, they would have their head spinning so fast on saturday afternoon they wouldnt know what to do.

Wow, Just looked, EKU has covered the 6 ATS as home dogs dating back to 2019. Not dogged at home often, never by this much.

yep so if you like EKU you should bet TSU tonight and steam it so when the real limits get released you can get +31.5 for a legitimate wager amount

I'm just trying to win $50 to $100 a bet. So I don't like the limits but I bet what I want and then bet more whatever on Saturday

Only issue is I’m capped on sides at 211.87 so wouldn’t be able to get enough down to significantly move the market more than 3pts I figure as that is what happened on North Dakota 27.5 when I submitted. Understanding of course it wasn’t just my bet that moved it 3.

its only us in this thread and brad powers who are betting FCS at this time...no one else. so yeah, it is your bet brotha!

That would be nice! All I need is for all the bottom feeder lines to get posted by midnight and I’ll be happy
