We're excited.

Looking at T25 games.

OU @ Kansas should see plenty of points.

Oregon @ Utah probably my favorite game.

Duke and Louisville a sneaky fun one.

Overall, probably the weakest slate all year. We'll find winners though.

Something remarkable I just noticed from late last night:

San Diego State was shut out at home by Nevada, 6-0.

Did they actually play that game, or did we have a hurricane hit San Diego at halftime?

Nevada came into that game with the following defensive ranks:

Yards per play against: 133rd
Yards per rush : 133rd
Yards per pass attempt: 132nd
3rd down conversions 132nd

San Diego State scored zero points and got a total of 204 yards for the game. Did Nevada reincarnate Dick Butkus and Mean Joe Greene for the game?

There were so many shitty games yesterday I can't fathom a weaker slate than that. If it goes back to back there will be self-induced vomiting all over CFB land

Oklahoma State. It’s Homecoming, and they’re playing better since resolving the QB issue.

NC State. Clemson will not bounce back from last night’s loss. Not on the road.

UCLA -17 seems high, but I think that it is warranted if Garbers remains.....he is just so much of a better option right now

Arizona +5 at home against Oregon State....will pay to see Jonathan Smith beat me again

Clones minus a million

Reality is I'll be on Baylor most likely as much as it makes me want to gag

michigan state over a td dog stands out vs minnesota.........big ten west is like the afc south, no one should be big favorites. I know sparty isn't in the west, but they might as well be

I'll chew on it but typically I don't bet against Baylor at home or on them when they're on the road. This year I haven't paid them as much attention as usual so got some catching up to do.

So it’s not like there are new injuries or other bye week news on the Iowa State side because I definitely liked the version of that team I saw two weeks ago.

Yeah I'm not much into the injury angle but there is certainly no news I've heard of. I do like how Rocco has progressed, wish we could have do overs with Iowa and Ohio at this point.

Staying away from ODU this week. Knew it would be a big number but their defense could completely stifle ODU.

Purdum's ESPN nuggets. Can't believe I've not been checking these...
  • Penn State is 6-0 ATS as a favorite this season and is 11-0-1 ATS as a favorite dating back to last season.
  • Georgia is 0-7-1 in its last 8 games against unranked teams.
  • Tulane has covered nine straight road games.
  • USC has gone over the total in five straight and seven of eight games this season.
  • Stanford is 0-7-1 ATS against ranked teams since the start of last season.
  • Ohio State is 10-3 ATS vs Wisconsin since 2007.
  • Vanderbilt is 1-7 ATS this season.
  • Oregon State is 13-3 ATS as a favorite dating back to last season.

You know what, I haven't read this all year.

TBH, I usually saw it on SM feed or your link here.

Disappeared.

This morning card is epically poor. Only game before 12:30 Pacific lined at under a TD is a directional Michigan game!

Case for/against Oklahoma today?
They are a bazillion times better on defense than last year and shouldn't have any kind of situation bias today, think they win big. Only included in a ML parlay to this point but I'm no fan of laying around a TD in general. But tough to find parlay partners today.

Wouldn't be against a 1h/2h chase on their line at this point. OU defense might be the most improved unit year over year of any D1 unit out there this season.

Big Noon is just as much trash as gameday, probably more.

First time I've watched it and had to turn to the calm app

Mark Ingram is incredibly awful. I don't need Quinn, Ingram, Leinart and Urb all playing the Herbie role. Holy shit there are four homers on the set and Rob Stone is a terrible version of Fowler who I know doesn't do gameday anymore. It's so self promoting. Not sure how any of you guys watch this and bitch about ESPNs version. This is dramatically worse and I don't watch that one!

Just give me kickoff please

I expect FSU to come out strong and focused today. Taking them 1H -11.5. Wake is NOT good and FSU has been reminded all week how they lost the last couple to Wake.

Heading to Austin on Friday to see the last KSU/UT game. @Frank Costanza or @GWarner27 going to be in the house?

Wildcats are playing well but I think UT D is a big upgrade from what we've seen lately. Horns -4 looks good unless Murphy stinks and gives it away a few times.

Is the OU defense that improved? Bean had guys running wide open all day Saturday and missed a ton of them. OU run D is much improved I will agree..

I actually didn't watch much of that game so I can't comment on whether that's a one-off or it's possibly they're wearing down as the season goes on. Something to pay attention to for sure.

I go to my share of Horns games but they are typically in Dallas for OU / on the road as our in-game environment is assault and battery on the senses. Whored out, 1/2 infomercial and 1/2 night club dog and pony show, with decibels out the ass. I was a season ticket holder for a long time but things really started to slide about 5 years ago. Biggest reason is that so many people now at home games are of the corporate type, with no ties to Texas. (Have to remember that Austin is the 9th largest city in the country now.) So the game atmosphere has been steered toward some sort of backward entertainment angle. It's become such an embarrassment. That's not an isolated opinion. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the environment. Night games are worse but you'll get your share even with an 11A kick.

Enjoy your visit, but hopefully not too much. :) I don't trust Murphy in this type game. He still has a lot of growing to do. Very difficult not to like K-State and the points.

The decibels thing describes my experience at TCU last year. Horrible noise.

sorry Dallas boi now, Austin just isn't very appealing to go unless there's a big occasion or if i had bought a house years ago
