Offensively, we're going to struggle finding an indentity early on... Porter will run point starting off the year to allow Galloway/Liggins to be worked into the role. Athletically is where this team will excel and I think you'll see it pay off on the defensive end, given our length. Our frontline will be solid with Patterson and Stevenson, and Harris will be depended on more to score in the slasher's role, and I think he's capable and has vastly improved. Harris will be our X-factor imo. The backcourt is our biggest question mark, and Meeks is the only proven scorer.. Liggins and Galloway are pass-first guards. Meeks has to really step up and average at least 15 per for us to go anywhere. One of our biggest problems last year was simply feeding the post, and we'll be very dependent on Pat so we gotta get him the damn ball. He needs to touch it every fucking time and the offense needs to revolve around him. UK unders should be a cash cow.. We'll be playing games into the 50's this year, and BCG is great at dictating the pace of a basketball game. We're pretty deep with Harrellson, Miller, Liggins, Galloway, Stewart and Williams off the bench. Recruiting has never been better.. just got a verbal from Daniel Orton for next year and signed an in-state talent by the name of Jon Hood. Also, Matthew Pilgrim will be eligible after sitting out a year adding to the frontline. Russel Byrd is supposed to make his decision within the nex week, and it's down to UK, Mich St, and Michigan. Scoring a 6'7-6'8 pure stroker would be huge. We'll be alright this year, but next year I see big things.. If Patterson for some reason stays one more, I think we'll make a solid run come March 2010.

BOL today Grind - health on Northwestern, but I'll give you NW if I can get the over.

You got screwed last night on the middle, as Boise chose to stuff one in for the BCS boys.

Thanks D - second time i've been beat late by a TD in a SJST game.. look for you to get the that over, cause NW is gonna shred that secondary ;) Nah good health bro

They probably will - looking for Indiana to do the same. Hope they get up for the game seeing that NW is now ranked for some reason.

Grind you really think Florida will cover the 24.5 ?? I know we have a ton of injuries, but 24.5 is a lot. A couple of field goals instead of touchdowns, and if UK can score 17, i think they will cover. They have a 0% chance of winning, but i dont think the 24.5 will happen, the defense hasnt given up 24 all year.

I hear ya Catsfan, buddies over here preachin' the same thing, and they just grabbed 25.5 through me.. personally, i don't see us reaching double-digits and think we get beat by 4 touches. I was about to lay it, but didn't wanna have to eat all their money.. GL to ya if you grab that hefty #
