Week 8 NFL Discussion

sorry man, I always have the most difficult time trying to understand what point you are making. Are you saying the NFL doesn't care?
no need for apologiesyea...the NFL doen't care. Enough.NFL in the room, everyone is 2nd to them. Right or wrong.

yeah, seems that way

this is what manuk posted in the pick club thread about the game, hopefully he can come in an elaborate

Detroit/Atlanta Under 47 ....Lads if you havent looked close at this,do it.... this gonna be a shitshow

From memory regarding Fat Andy. As good as his record is off a bye, his record the 2nd week after a bye is pretty weak. Will have to take a look to be sure.

Books figuring it out and the lines are getting sharper.

aka time to focus on NCAAB

...i'm still considering ARI (line drop is a concern after I was begging for 2.5 at -110), StL, CIN if it gets to 3, NYJ, IND

3-10 ATS last 13.

Eagles will smoke AZ. The mad genius off a bye going to fuck dem West Coast boyz. Sproles should play and Kendricks (underrated LB) might also return.

Just a reminder.....SUPER EARLY GAME tomorrow in London - Lions at Falcons will be at 930am EST....before the 1pm game, for West Coasters it will be at 630am!!!!

Also, in case you missed it....Raiders playing on East Coast, but not in the early game. They are playing the late game.

Just some PT stats ahead of SNF -

General stats
- The last 18 PT winners have all totaled at least 27 pts (& 13 of them at least 30 pts); overall only 1 PT winner (in 23 games) has totaled less than 26 pts.

- No road team has scored first in 7 SNF games.

- No road team has lost after leading at half-time.

NFC teams @home stats
- No losing team has scored more than 20 pts (6 losing teams have managed that feat with an AFC team @home).

- Only 1 game out of 12 has been decided by a margin of 1-7 pts (compared to 5 of 11 games w/an AFC team @home).

- Only 2 Dogs have scored first (& looking at the standings now, one of those Dogs - Dallas, @home to Nawlins - clearly should've been the Fav).

- Home Favs have scored first in 9 of 10 games.
