-VT over BC by 3...Hokies 5-1 ATS as a conference chalk of 7 or greater but 1-9 ATS when off a road win. Coming off rest, it takes time for the Hokies to get going(1-4 ATS at home with rest). BC was briefly in the Top 25 this season but are 2-2 after a 2-0 start. They setup for double revenge and are 7-2 ATS as conference dogs with double revenge. Weekdays, BC is 10-7-3 ATS. The Eagles are only giving up 17.7 PPG and have one of the more capable QBs in Castellanos, who put up numbers but no win vs Virginia two weeks ago. BC hasn’t won in Lane Stadium since 2018, and a sold-out Orange Effect crowd will be hyped. Close game, so ride with the doggie.​

• Strange days when both Army & Navy are undefeated and huge chalk again today.
• ARMY -17... No one has scored over 14 points on the Army D. The Black Knights (6-0, 5-0) have crushed all foes so far by at least 17(23 @home). In the American Conference, they are #1 in total defense / #3 total offense ? #1 in rushing offense. ECU (3-3, 1-1) may be 8-0 all-time vs Army, but the last meeting was 2004, dues to be paid. Walkover 31-10
• NAVY -16.5... Charlotte is bad, ranking last in D and 12th of 14 American Conference teams in offense. Navy is #2 on offense and #9 on defense. Their defensive numbers would be better, but they allowed 659 yards @memphis even while winning by 12 points, 56-44. This one should sail over the total or at least the Navy TT, Midshipman 38-16
• TEXAS -5... Marquee matchup of the day with two SEC brutes locking horns. Texas has actually dropped a bit in most power ratings since the start of the season after starting out so highly regarded, but of course Georgia has fallen far more from early projections. The line has swollen to 5 and the value is probably lost, although I still see the horns by 6-10. Texas leads the nation in total D, but some may think they've yet to face a really good offense. UGA is 27th on offense, much better than TEX has seen so far. On D the Dawgs also rank #27 while Texas will bring the #7 offense. Hook-em HORNS 24-16
