Week 5 in the FCS

I'm guessing that garbage QB for Georgetown will be starting again today since the Columbia side is going up.

I'm guessing that garbage QB for Georgetown will be starting again today since the Columbia side is going up.

A Columbia blogger/podcast guy said he heard that Lautner would be playing. It was an injury in the Lafayette game before Brown I guess. Will see if there is an update. Kind of don't like going against GT off such a bad bad, like one of the worst losses in the current coaches tenure, like kind of a gut check game. But would no way bet that Dez whatever guy at QB for Hoyas

Columbia will unveil a Ivy Championship banner ... first Ivy title since 1961, so should be a lot of juice for that. No further speculation on QB, the game notes 2 deep had Dez Thomas listed at QB, but those often aren't always accurate.

Looks like Georgetown has that Thompson guy starting again

I just placed an Under bet. Hopefully GT D plays with some heart today and that QB of theirs shouldn't lead many scoring opportunities

Delaware State QB Bennett was just ejected from the game for giving the fans some 5s after scoring a TD

Without a warning or a first penalty, referees in the Delaware State - Sacred Heart game ejected starting QB Kaiden Bennett for going down a fenceline and allowing fans (some DSU fans) to hit his hand in a celebratory manner. That was in the 1Q. It did not appear DSU would miss him as their run game was gashing SHU, but as the game went on, SHU kept coming back and shut them out in the 2H.

Lehigh was killing clock in the final minutes, Penn was out of timeouts, from about the P20, LH RB broke through the line and as he approached the goal line he slowed and started walking looking back at the sideline, but he walked into the EZ and acted like he forgot he wasn't supposed to. That put the margin on 14 which was meaningful to alot of wagers placed after open. This line could be had at 14 Saturday morning but closed below 10. Penn had a couple shots in the EZ at the very end but were incomplete.

Norfolk State got up 13-0, Wagner scored 18 unanswered to win by 5. Kuhns QB'd Norfolk the first 3Q, Carter was the QB in the 4Q and he wasn't good just like all the other times he's played.

CCSU tied Dartmouth 28-28 in the final minute, but then gave up a 50y TD pass in the end

It might appear that Yale had an easy 17pt win vs Cornell, but that was not the case. An extremely sloppy game, the teams combined for 8 TOs and 20 penalties. Cornell was right there the entire game until the final couple minutes which included a 65y pick-six in the final minute.

Fordham shut out Holy Cross in the 2H to win the Ram-Crusader cup for the first time since 2016.

Marist and Butler had four 4Q lead changes. Butler's QB Reagan Andrew was back.

Richmond was pretty lucky to beat Howard. Richmond only had 152 total yards!

Elon piled it on at the end turning a mostly close game into a 3 TD win with 24 unanswered pts

Villanova missed a FG with about a minute left that would've put them up by 10

In a tie game, St Thomas fumbled at his own 12 with 1min left setting up San Diego for a walk off FG.

Tennessee Tech led 35-0 after a 94y pick-six late 3Q, they won 35-8 as TSU kicked 2 FGs then blk'd a punt that went for a safety

Mississippi Valley State BLEW the game! They never trailed Texas Southern until the very end. Leading 20-16 just after the 2min timeout, 4th-10 on their own 46, the punter faked the punt and was tackled 3 yards short. TxSo scored 3 plays later and won

Saint Francis was throwing in the EZ to potentially tie Bucknell at the end but threw an INT in the final seconds.

SFA scored a long TD run while killing clock that gave them the cover and put it over some numbers.

Lots more, but I'm tired

This guy is straight garbage

Honestly they would be better off running the option

They have 0 chance against the top Big Sky teams

Bad day yesterday. Could have broke even without the team Tenn Tech team safety.

That EWU coach is going to get fired. Now in addition to their usual bad defense they have a bad offense. 124 passing yards LOL

That stupid expansion team has a good offense and doubt see anymore totals in the low 50's

Nice job Delaware St. scoring 31 in the first half and 0 in the second half

Stetson still is the worst team. Presbyterian will be favored by 50 when they play in a couple of weeks.

How does Idaho St. basically not complete a pass and still cover?

Will Richmond ever play a game over the total?

I don't bet against Mercyhurst, of course the lose by 44

SEMO starting QB and backup QB were knocked out of the game in what looked like serious leg injuries.

AA UC Davis Safety Rex Conners ran a wild-cat taking direct snap near the goal line, and scored, but was injured on the play and it didn't look good

Alabama A&M QB Cornelius Brown DNP

Ethan Greenwood returned for LIU 12-24-137-0-2, sacked 4x only 27y net rushing. Stanzani DNP

Holy Cross switched from Swanson to Graham in the 2H either out of injury or searching for something, but the backup wasn't any better.

I heard Marion say last week he made the offense run stairs or something because they didn't get 300y rushing vs UCA. And he made the D run because of some passes they gave up. That was off a 45-16 win. All these free agents going to get tired of that shit during the week when the results are losing to Cal Poly.

Have fun running a marathon this week
