Week 4 in the FCS

I like SIU's team, but hard to get behind that road fav line in the rivalry game

SEMO is better than UT Martin this year. People are giving SIU credit and they deserve it, for the road win at UTM, but too much so because UTM is pretty bad this year and everyone acting like it was really good win. Sure it is good, but not like as if UTM is good. This line is higher and SEMO is better. Should be good game

I don't want to jinx it....

but this might be the first time FD posted all the FCS games in one night.

Both those lines are off. Utah Tech is 3-0 ATS and UNI has had some issues. Obviously Butler is bad and Weber isn't great, but still, think it is Weber's home opener too and they've played some tough competition. Win last week should give them some enthusiasm

Oh, FD may not have offered me Cornell - Albany then, need to go back and look

Won't bet it, but I will need to request it, they must have Cornell blocked in my state for some dumb reason

Am I nuts 🥜 to like Austin Peay this weekend

Think it is tough game to call. AP has been impressive in the FBS win, played tough at UGA and blew out a team they should've. Think ACU has been better than I expected they would this year too. Assume AP has the better D.

Regardless of what the MH did last week, do think Sac State D is pretty strong. Not sold on their O however, especially the QB play

I think they kinda suck

was hoping to get 14 or more with central arkansas

won't be waiting much longer

You think the D sucks or their team in general? DL is good. Have got pressure, mostly with blitzing. The D is definitely the best part of that team.

I don't think the QB is any good

They shouldn't have covered against Mercyhurst but ran up the score to make it look better

Mercyhurst put up 370 total yards on them

I agree on the QBs for sure.

Mercyhurst QB, it's a new Dl program I get it, but I think they are fairly competent offensive system with a veteran QB. Should a good or decent Big Sky team handle them better? Yes. Will be interesting to compare what Montana State - Mercyhurst game is like compared to the 2024 game and the Sac State - Mercyhurst game.

Definitely agree 'they' wanted that game to have a certain look to it. Felt the same way about Rutgers vs Norfolk, like trying to hard to have the outcome be a certain thing.

But the Sac State O is not good and that is pretty widely believed I would say.

I will be in Florida at some point in December and was just looking there, because of an agreement with the Seminole tribe, there is no online wagering except through Hard Rock which they have an exclusive agreement with.

I downloaded the Hard Rock app. They actually have FCS-FCS lines while right now DK, BR, MGM, Caesars and ESPNbet do not. Kind of interesting. Bet365 has Col-Laf but otherwise just FCS-FBS that I see. Makes me want to check some others.

Actually, Bet365 doesn’t have Columbia-Lafayette…they have Columbia - Louisiana! LOL

Posted this last year, updating for 2024 results. Since Ivy League plays their week 1 when everyone else is in week 4 this shows how the Ivy's compete. There is no disadvantage necessarily for them to be playing other teams with multiple games under their belt.

2021-24

Ivy League teams in their first games vs the rest of the FCS straight up = 22-10, 17-15 ATS

ATS as favorites = 11-10 ATS
Failed to win straight up = 3 of 21

ATS as underdogs = 6-5 ATS
Straight up wins = 5 of 11
