Week 3 in the FCS

Fordham was +10.5 now 8.5. How much did lined move last night or is it mostly this morning?

I’m going through now. CCSU was 6.5 a few minutes ago. Not sure what it opened? 8.5 now
I thought about the 6.5 but told myself 5.5 or better to play it so stuck to my guns although I knew it was going to go up towards 10 most likely

Duquesne is weird because it keeps going back and forth. Thought about taking the 12.5 but going to wait and see where BM opens in the morning

I took the -235 ML for half. It has gone up now with the line

I thought West Georgia was weird at -6.5 but didn't have a read on that game at all so passed. Now it is at -2.5 which makes more sense to me on the surface.

ETSU was +6.5, I grabbed that, then 4.5 I took a little more, now 2.5

3 of mine have moved up 2pts while 2 haven't budged so not sure what to make of that. Also thought about Sac State but decided to pass as I wouldn't be shocked if Mercyhurst kept it within the number.

They have been impressive especially their run last week vs Nicholls but WG has faced two very flawed offenses. ETSU has played one overmatched team and they were the overmatched team last week. So not a good 2 games to understand who they are but I like them to compete vs WG

I am waiting on the FBS v FCS remaining games as I am curious where some of the monster lines open at like Nebraska vs HCU, Rutgers vs Norfolk State, Cincy vs NWST, Miss State vs Alcorn. Also want to see where Hawaii, Ball State and Monmonth open at.

Norfolk has been worse than I thought they start the season. Alcorn has been horrible.

Yeah my main thing was it seemed like West Georgia was getting too much benefit of the doubt because of the Nicholls game but not sure it warrants them being an almost TD fav as ETSU is not Stetson or Davidson.

I took the Under SCSt-Bethune. Was 52.5 probably still good at 50.5. SCSt D been outstanding vs Woffird (who sucks) but also did well vs SCar last week. Bethune shouldn’t be hard to limit

Sleepy did well with his Lamar bet hopefully they don’t void it. I did take TxSo+13.5 and +11.5. That game was close last year

I was surprised Montana St was 24.5. Respect for SanDiego or disbelief in 0-2 MSU? It’s 26.5

Yeah I saw that and was tempted but San Diego is feisty enough to stay within the number as I felt South Dakota State, SELA and Tenn Tech were better values at their respective huge lines

There are no terms and conditions when betting on the kiosks so yes these are paid out.

They still have to win and Lamar has the backup QB starting

I wasn't able to bet any of the totals.

Had to leave some money for Saturday

So this was a pretty interesting afternoon! New Hampshire opened at -4.5 and Mississippi State opened at -21.5! Pretty sure I saw those at open as I was checking my phone probably every 15 minutes or so looking for lines

I missed all the opens due to work (I know, priorities priorities)

Am I a bad person if I want all the ones I didn’t get on to end up not covering???

This came up last year. That is usually my inclination because mentally it means I saved money by not placing the bets and I can feel good about that, almost like a win without an actual win. You thought if they won despite you not taking them then it reinforces your intuition on the right side to play and helps you know you are reading the lines and teams properly. But I like the idea of seeing the missed plays lose saving money over being right and not making anything on it.

woke up at 2pm today and saw that Mississippi St. was -21.5

Got in my car and drove the 80 miles to the casino as fast as I could

Was going to bet everything I own on it

By the time I got there it was -28.5. Got one bet in and I had waited a little bit and keyed in a 2 team parlay with Miss St and the line changed to -38.5 before I could hit submit.

Yeah I remember that discussion and I always go back and forth on my head about it as both outcomes make sense so not really a wrong answer. Watching Indiana now and hoping the big favs keep it rollin tomorrow.

Only had 300 left after todays trip. Had to go to the bank and make another withdraw as 300 will clearly not be enough for the late Saturday morning bets.
It’s funny I withdrew 2500 after last weekend and I’ve been kicking myself because I think I was too aggressive as I need Houston to cash so I can hit ball state and maybe one other when BM releases in the am. Always a fine line between banking profit to keep the wife happy and having plenty sitting in the account to support the high volume that I play.

I said I was going to be more conservative this week and not be all in.

Just couldn't help myself

That is great man!

A few of the D2 games at MB actually have spreads and not just MLs. I just got a little teary eyed.

S&P and Reddit says the Benedict - Central St total is a little high at 45.5 but not sure I want an Under in a game I've never seen the teams even play
