Week 3 Discussion Thread

Was noted in-game last night but this is really weird with Brady as part owner of the Raiders. On a headset last night in the their coaching booth and then going into other teams meetings for production work with Fox. I think he got some sort of special dispensation from the league on exactly what he can do with Fox. Last night's shot of him in the booth was interesting.

..Rooting for Mac Jones , been scratching my head at management wasting all that money on Purdy since the day the contract was signed ..As a Bills fan I'm happy Mac is in the NFC now , hope he stays there lol ...Has the chance on the field to make massive $$$ moving forward ... Chip on his shoulders since the playoff loss at Buffalo .. Imo he's better than Purdy ...Also availability is your best ability ( as a QB )..

That being said I'm invested at long odds on the cards in division winner parlays 🤣..

Shady Brady knows all the NFL'S SECRETS 🫣
His team was taping 2 win opponents side lines during games ...But that's not even the tip of the iceberg, as the defense used to call out critical plays pre snap that were installed in the playbook by the opposition during the practice week leading up to the game ..


From 2001 NFL on it started to seem like I was watching the WWF/AWA/NWA that I Loved in the 80's...

Not sure about that. I'd lean SF. This is a backup QB who looked pretty good in his first start last week vs a semi banged up 2-0 AZ team. I personally think if the Cards wouldn't have collapsed last week in the 4th quarter this line would have been a PK or the Cardinals as a short favorite. Definitely a SF coaching advantage here. I can't play either side at this point.

Seems kinda like an under game to me. But that just top of my head I havnt really looked at. Just think 46 a decent number and think both defenses probably better than the offenses. 47 be great but no clue where it started or where it going.

JD5 not at practice today. Wash/LV line down, looking like Mariotta probably getting the start. He should start anyway and keep Daniels on the sideline a couple of weeks. No sense in taking a chance with the knee

I’ll take Wentz, minny coaching, and d. Against browning, an awful oline, terrible coach and defense alll day and twice on sundays. I feel like Wentz will probably at the worst be better than McCarthy. At least one of us be right! 🤣

If the weather cooperates in Chicago over everything! Total, props, team totals. Of course it probably rain and be a huge dude since I assume everyone in the world knows how bad these defenses got lit up! In true nfl fashion this should be a huge under game but how in the world anyone has the balls for that beats me, I certainly don’t.

Yes, Julian Love, Devon Witherspoon an Nick Emmanwori will all be out Sunday.

Emmanwori has the best chance an he is listed as doubtful

I'm with you, Vikings defense gets Harrison Smith an Van Ginkel back today. Offense gets back Darrishaw which should help against Hendrickson an Cincys pass rush

I'll be riding with Vikings an taking a look at Jordan Mason props
 
Wentz is 27-38 ATS as a starter since 2018. He is 3-6 ATS since 2022. He has played on six different teams in six years for a reason…he is washed. And that will be magnified this week as he admittedly does not even know the Vikes system very well.

Wentz admitted that he is "still learning the ins and outs" of the Vikings' scheme and said the process is "very different" from anything he has ever done in his career.

Vikings offense has looked putrid the first two games. It’s not going to look any better with Carson Wentz at QB and no A Jones.

The Vikings defense should get better, but they are currently 26th in the league with 5.2 yards allowed per carry. Cincy will commit to getting the run game going this week and should have some success.

Minny’s defense SHOULD be the best unit on the field, but the NFL is still a QB league. It’s really hard to win games without at least a serviceable QB. Browning is 4-3 as a starter and led Cincy to a comeback last week vs Jags. Both teams have weapons but I trust Browning to make more plays today. He is an accurate QB with experience in the system.

Browning wins came against Jags twice, Minshew, and Mullens fwiw so teams likewise disadvantaged by having to start a backup. Although Minny is such a team today

I been washed for 10 years and think with Jefferson and this play caller I could torch the cincy d. Everyone thought darnold was awful until his stint in minny too. Wentz record is still more than JJ McCarthy has ever accomplished. Maybe I’m dead wrong but I really don’t think they worse off with JJ hurt. I watch browning do everything he could to lose last week and the jags just refused to bury him: sure he has a week to prepare but Flores also had the week knowing he starting, to me that huge advantage minny vs a awful oline and not a very good coach imo. That said I hate the nfl and you probably should be thrilled we opposite!
 
Also like Hou quite a bit today. Since Ryans took over has head coach in 2023, Hou has not lost three consecutive games. On 3 occasions they lost two in a row and they are 3-0 SU and ATS after two consecutive losses winning by a combined score of 94-41. Major step down in class for them after playing Rams and Bucs.

Also like Houston, I know they have O Line problems but both losses our to good playoff teams. (Rams & Bucs)

If they can keep CJ upright today I think they win

Agree on the step down. I want to like Houston but man that oline is tough to trust. Not sure there 2 teams I trust least than these 2, not saying they the worst, just that I never know wtf I’m gonna get. Really wanna be on your side here tho, there isn’t a whole lot I like and Houston certainly makes sense.

Week 3 is always a tough week in the NFL. It’s hard to tell if teams are as good or bad as they have looked. Add in all the QB injuries and it’s really a crapshoot.
 
The fact that you guys are discussing betting on either Carson Wentz or Jim Browning.....touch grass
 
Hard to see where points come from in that Raiders/Commanders game. I hate playing unders but the clock should be running a bunch.

That game stunk to high heaven to me. I almost bet panthers as line kept climbinb but couldn’t do it. Packers losing fucked up tease I think only side/total I’ve missed. Assuming Seattle keeps rolling and the arz/cards game don’t break out in points
