I see suspension but it's inevitable I"m sure.

Hope he enjoyed the phone sex and the end result as he is going to lose a ton of money.

Just startling to glance at card. 1st game that really caught my eye is minny going to North Carolina. Omg this game is fascinating to me for a couple reasons!

One being getting more than a td here is worth a play i think, although depending how discussion goes ( expect some guys I respect to be on other side here and looking forward to those thoughtst!) I could possibly pivot to the total cause it feels like it might be short when i look at the matchup.

I really don’t think gophers are getting much respect based off their 1st couple games!!! I’m certainly not saying they have earned it! If not for Nebraska being Nebraska in week 1 Gophers could easily be 1-1.

Despite the ugliness of the husker gm I think there were things I like going forward that didn’t really translate to much success in thst game but doesn’t mean it was all bad! 1st and foremost Gophers have a couple wr’s that will be playing on Sunday imo, they made some catches against Nebraska if ya hsvnt seen you should check out, the one for their only td was one the most amazing displays of body control I ever seen to get a foot down (the rest of him appeared to be 2 foot out of bounds! The not so good on those plays was had Kaliakmanis made slightly better throws the wr doesn’t have to make or attempt to make circus catches!

For me the most important thing in the husker game was the fact despite being a ugly, tight, low scoring one possession game all night they let Kaliakmanis throw 44 passes compared to only 20 rush attempts by the backs! Was it good that I needed damn near all those to cash Kaliakmanis pass yards over 180ish? Not really. However the fact they continued to let him throw confirmed to me the things I had read about them really liking this this kid and this version of the gophers offense is gonna play to their strength on the outside! There no question Kaliakmanis missed some throws and was incredibly inefficient. This was his 1st home start of career, he did make a start last season where he went into camp Randal and beat Wisconsin while throwing for 300+ , 2tds no int’s, while completing 65%his passes! I wouldn’t be to quick to dismiss him!

Maybe this opinion won’t be popular but I’d also say from what I’ve seen from huskers in 2 games they have a very solid pass d. Yes they they eventually fell apart in boulder while Simms handed buffs the ball over and over but cmon. They had buffs explosive attack looking bad early on. That wasn’t some gravy defense gophers saw and it was the 1st game of the year! Im incredibly confident in saying gophers passing attack is gonna put up big numbers this year! Make no mistake, if app st lit this unc d up, if Spencer rattle without a great cast can put up huge numbers being totally 1 dimensional I got a story to tell, minny can and will move the ball and score!

I can’t believe I wrote all that and havnt even gotten to minny d vs unc offense which is where I’m way more unsure of things. There nothing in PJ Fleck tenure at minny that leads me to believe unc will be able to push gophers around with their rushing attack like they have their 1st 2 opponents! There just no way is there? Not saying they won’t be able to run at all but it will be a struggle!! This very well could be the week Maye’s legs become a bigger factor, I just don’t think unc can run right at this gophers d and have a lot of success. However simms did have way more success on the ground than Ervin did. There is def a world where early on maye keeps and hurts them enough it will gradually start opening up the inside. I know this sounds backwards but it seriously unc offense that would scare me off the over. Not cause they won’t move the ball but because they are the team more likely to chew up clock rushing it 40+ times! That feels so so weird to say, lol,,,

There is one more thing that I didn’t bring up that concerns me a bit. In week 2 minny playing a inferior team they went back to bully ball and only threw 15 passes. I want to believe that was a bit like canes in week 1, they didn’t have to throw or put much of anything on film for unc to look at. That makes perfect sense to me although I would have preferred to see Kaliakmanis just light it up and build some confidence, not to mention cement my belief they are gonna be more pass oriented thus year, lol. Or maybe it good they got the run game some work cause clearly I don’t want them to be one dimensional this week! I saw the way heels pinned their ears back and got after rattler!

So now im pretty convinced both these teams need to be and will be balanced attacks, I think it will take some work for unc to get their backs some holes. 50 feels way closer to correct to me now, just wait till I start hearing feedback! Lol. Anyways I’ll be hard pressed not to take 7.5 here, I saw our resident heels fan @carolinablue did what he does best and jumped on the -6.5! Dude a number getting beast! Im more inclined to take all week and get the dog after it been bet up! Lol. Maybe we could both cash here?? !!

Appreciate the words my man (actually missed 6) and always enjoy reading your thoughts although in this case I think you are overestimating Minny on both sides and not giving the Heels enough credit as they found a way to establish the run early and often and win without Drake throwing a TD pass.

I also expect the secondary to not play off as much this week based on Mack’s post game comments, and I don’t think Minny can beat us through the air if we pack it in to stop the run, but we shall see come Saturday!

I tend to do really well in acc but I don’t but heels games much, never have good feel for them. Im not holding anything against them from 1st 2 games, I’d have to be crazy to do that while my post was mostly explaining away how shifty gophers have looked! Lol. Honestly I think ya’ll seem way tougher/more physical on both sides, I like that. What you think of the wrs? I know they lost the kid Maye was always throwing to last year. I just think it be really tough to bully minny with run game. Do they still run some the zone read/rpo stuff? Really think this be a good week for Maye to show off v his legs a but more, force gophers to have to account for him then get a numbers adv.

There really 2 things I like bout gophers (other than catching more than 7 of course!), the obvious i been mentioning I believe they will be far and away heels run game toughest test. secondly is I believe ppl being way quick to bail on gophers offense. I know the wrs are really good, I’m fairly confident they like Kaliakmanis enough to let him throw, I’m just hoping last week was one those get the win with your bigger stringer guys and get ready for this one, I hope they didn’t decide after one game to change what I think their offensive identity gonna be this yea!! I gotta believe they have seen enough tape of heels getting thrown on. Gonna just come gone to can this kid get the ball consistently to his wrs?

It makes this game interesting, I never woulda guessed gophers wanting to throw around the years and heels be the team playing smash mouth. I think gophers little better than most I guess but I like getting over 7, I’ve heard enough good bout the qb and think minny wrs can get open. Kinda why I lean over but little torn.

Hey @2daBank what you think of Missouri this season? K. State is an intresting matchup - havent watched or kept tabs on either team much as of lately though

Man bro, hate this team more and more every year under Drinkiwitz. Somehow the offense gets worse ever year despite a qb I think was a fairly good recruit and they have gotten a couple 5 star wrs last few years but they don’t hardy use them! I can stomach watching them play so honestly I’m sure there others w more incite on them than me! I’m more familiar with 3/4th’s the acc than I am mixzou!! I just can’t get excited enough bout them to pay attention. Seems so long ago since they been relevant, i said it when it happened, moving to sac was huge mistake other than to line pockets!

All that said I do think there situational angles that favor them, gonna be 1st sellout in awhile I think, all the players are making this sound like a big game. Good chance k-st not nearly as pumped up here, why should they be??? Think I heard game sold out so guess the atmosphere will be good. Then on “bet the board” pod they said k-st had some transportation issues so are taking buses to Columbia, dunno If that matter or not? The BTB pod had a pretty good breakdown of this game, more in depth on mizzou than I can get! If k-st hadn’t lost so much this offseason I’d br all over them!

I wrote more bout this game in the dog thread if you want to check out there, pretty much a continuation of 1st post in here but few more thoughts.

Jay Norvell is a psycho twat. He made a fool of himself on the sideline for Nevada in 21 against K-State. Ranting and raving. Hope PRIME puts 50+ on his ass.

I have Colo alt line of -30 already. Maybe push it to -35.5 for another play.

Pretty sure Colorado st looked slow the pieces of their game I saw, and they only ran the ball 18x while wazzu put up 450 thru the air?!?! I’d say buffs money and/or props are strong for at least another week. Keep building that hype up!!! Nothing against buffs but I watched a pretty average Nebraska team with a turnover machine playing qb control a half of that game on both sides the los. Pretty sure a rude awakening will be coming for buffs but not agsinst this clown, who leaves Nevada for Colorado st anyways? That ain’t exactly climbing the ladder!! lol.

The pac-12 is a mother fucker this year, if anyone can actually come out this conf with only 1 loss and get into playoff they could easily be the most battled tested team of the 4.. kinda a bummer they breaking it up now when it looks so strong!! I kinda hate the way buffs schedule lines up far as looking to play against them, I’d prefer they started off pac12 with some the more physical teams instead of ducks and usc types where I imagine they gonna be insane shootouts! Guess that be fun but I’d rather they get the teams like utes and beavers who play more physical brands of football.

I really didn't do my due diligence before betting the Buffs this week. CU is under 2 yards per rush and allowing over 6. I checked the database (which goes back to 2006), and no team has won its first two games while rushing for less than 2 and allowing more than 6 yards per carry. In fact, no team has won its first two games while rushing for less than three and allowing more than five yards per carry.

In your defense those teams probably wernt throwing for 4 bills a game and have 3 nfl players catching passes from a qb who on fire! What really tough to figure out is Colorado st seems slow but they not exactly looking to run ball either! They ran it 18x for 35 yards in their only game! If you count one the qbs with 2 rushes credited for -8 yards they went 20 carry’s for 27 yards!! I don’t think buffs looking to get a lead and salt the game away w the run anyways!! Against Nebraska the 3 rb’s they gave more than 1 carry all averaged 4.3 per or better, think the team average comes way down cause Sanders posting -20/-30 rush yards on sacks each game.

Against Nebraska the 3 rb’s they gave more than 1 carry all averaged 4.3 per or better, think the team average comes way down cause Sanders posting -20/-30 rush yards on sacks each game.
I think this one is going over.

If Colorado st gonna throw it 45x like they did against wazzu I’d say buffs will hang 50+ easy!! Cam ward threw for 450 on this team, I dunno if sanders better than him or not but I’m pretty sure buffs wrs are scarier than wazzu’s.

If Sanders takes a shit in the forest does it make a sound? There are so many more proven coaches out there getting zero hype. I hope all of the publicity keeps coming when they drop a few games.

No surprise on those first 3 whatsoever.

For the RLM crowd, BC and NW are enticing.
