Opposite ends of the spectrum bowl:

Marshall off the win in South Bend at Bowling Green off a 7 overtime loss to Eastern Kentucky.

Appy St gets College Gameday and Troy at home. Last 3 years:

Appy St 48-13
Appy St 47-10
Appy St 45-7

We're merely a week beyond App St losing at home! 1-1 App St v 1-1 Troy is not what I'd expect for a solid Game Day candidate.

I agree with you. Feels like it fits today's overreact to everything, show love to everyone, or show more love and attention than something or somebody might even deserve. App St had a great win, but that's not a good game to be featured.

Seattle WA or Auburn AL would've fit. Those are very good, not great, but very good college football matchups. Troy at App State won't even move the ratings needle.

I think ya gotta like fsu Friday night! I just think they the better coached team of the 2. Cunningham is more dynamic but I rather have the Travis I have seen this year playing qb for me. Ville offense has still yet to impress, only scoring 20 on ucf and not doing much of anything after their 1st drive for a very long stretch of that game, very similar to what happened at cuse the week before except cuse made them pay for it and blew them out. I think fsu will be much more similar to cuse and knock ville out the game while their offense sputters for long stretches! Noles rush attack should have way more success than they had vs lsu and I totally trust Travis to make the plays they need to keep chains moving and to execute Norvell game plan which I suspect will be better than Satterfiekd who’s offense looks lost after the 15 or so scripted plays! Let’s see if I can go 3 for 3 playing ville sides!!

craziest line i've seen so far is MSU @ UW

i was very close to hitting over 53 yesterday. was up to 55 last night. then 57 this morning. only to be back at 55.5 right now.
it's not the only total that's moved, but it's the only one i've noticed going up and down so much over the course of 24 hours.

If ya’ll havnt noticed I’m super high on cuse this year, should be a heck of a game w Purdue coming into the dome but I like Orange chances. What the OC has managed to do with Schrader as a passer is pretty amazing!! you really didn’t have to account for him throwing the ball last year and now he making plays w his arm. With the way he and Tucker run the ball you have to dedicate lot of guys to the box which leads to easy pickens down the field. Unlike the one dimensional Purdue these guys tough to defend! Give me the more balanced team at at home.

This doesn’t look like a great card for doggie. Canes maybe? I dunno. They clearly havd the better qb.

I think there are some: Nebraska, Buffalo, Ohio, Cal, Tulane, Vandy, Liberty, Bowling Green, ArkSt, FAU, rice, UTSA, MiamiFl, Villanova, YSU, Montana St

Like a few those, what bout ku? Can’t believe they getting 10 at Houston. Think I would have liked canes better had Aggies not lost last week but still think it them or nothing. Qb play about as big a mismatch you can get!

I don't feel like I am familiar enough on Houston or Kansas to give an opinion without looking into their teams and games which I haven't done yet.

Nebraska play a little looser and just let it fly? I could see them hanging around. Think the over is the better play though.

Nebraska's D needs a serious gut check after that poor effort.

Remember last year at OU nobody gave Nebraska a chance. What do we really know about OU at this point...UTEP and Kent State? Led Kent State 7-3 at HT last week? Kent outrushed them with OU having just a slightly better ypc. OU 3-of-12 3rd downs last week?

You wouldn't think a coaching change can make a guy not fumble, or not commit a penalty or secure the block, make the tackle, but in all reality this can only help them. A new voice, a different approach. And who really knows what the O gameplanning was like with Frost-Whipple shotgun marriage? Thompson threw for 388 with a 5-0 ratio while at Texas vs OU last season.

I wouldn't go as far as put money on Nebraska to win, because...well, they rarely win, but I could see how it is a closer game inside the number.

Yes, USF totally flopped week 1 - granted BYU is just the same BYU while, I, and I think others, thought that USF might be time to show some competitiveness. So maybe that was just a bad matchup for them. I took a small play on them last week vs Howard and was rather disappointed as well. This week's matchup would appeal to me if I hadn't got burned already. Last year Florida had 5 TDs of 30+ yards including a 75 and 80 yard TD. It was 35-3 HT last year, but 42-20 Final. Florida had Bama on deck.

This was my first thought...not sure I have the fortitude to do it

Please change the thread title to week 3. It was said early but it's difficult to find.

AFA is probably the best I've seen them since the Dee Dowis days. Fun option team to watch. Winning by 40 tonight is plausible. Wyoming run defense is a dumpster fire.

A name from the past. Stud running the option. Died much to soon in a car wreck not too far from where I live.

On paper Air Force should roll, but this is a big rivalry and AF hasn't won at 7,220 since 2012. I'll sit this one out.

Came across something interesting here...

In two games UMass has passed for a total of 65 yards. Not per game, total! only just 28 attempts. They have run for 405 on 112 carries.

Stony Brook has only played one game this year, they passed for 83y (8-24-83-0-3) and they ran 43x for 147.

These two teams are not good passing, UMass doesn't even want to pass.

The total is 50? Stony Brook was held to 24 or below in 7 of their 11 games vs FCS last year. UMass was held below 27 pts in 10 of 12 games last year (the other two they scored 28). So far this year UMass scored 10 and 10 vs Tulane and Toledo.

So maybe Stony Brook lets UMass offense breathe? Stony Brook not an offensive team really. Think I have to play this Under

Makes sense on paper.

It's not like Don Brown's D is going to get torched by Stony Brook!

yeah, on paper, the total got bet up from 48.5 to 50
