Week 17 What Are We Learning

Its not the coaches fault that the kicker can't make an extra point or that Allen made a terrible throw on the 2 pt conversion but the fact is McDermott is not a good coach and they won't win a Super Bowl with him as the coach so just fire him after their season ends.
 
There were alot of curious offensive play calls in the 2nd half that didnt seem to jive with what buffalo is really good at.

glenn says he has a plan and they are working towards it. Jet fans, as well as football followers, are more than curious if he drew his plan in crayon on the back of a dennys kids menu.
 
Home underdogs with nothing to play for (Minny, Mia, Clev, KC, Indy, Jets) went 4-2 ATS (3-3 SU) vs road teams who needed to win. 5-1 if you bet Indy early at 6.5. Not to pile on, but Jets only team that was not competitive.
 
Bills are better off with the loss yesterday imo ...Now week 18 is essentially a bye week for this battered squad. They need to get healthy at DT,QB,S,TE!!
 
If the thought is Buffalo sits players and play back-ups @DOUBLEUP4LIFE Jets are +9 right now... WOW. Since I've been typing line drops to 8.5...HMMMM

Look ahead from what I've seen...

Carolina +3 over Tampa

Ravens -3 over Pitts


The Raiders' loss to the Giants put them in the driver's seat for the #1 pick, and a Week 18 loss to the Chiefs would make it official, but their fate still involves some calculation with other struggling teams

He sucks but the defense was great in the 2h. It's really up to what Josh wants. Leave the decision up to him and get him a WR1.

This seems more of like a similar situation to what NE did a year ago - let it burn and when ready to turn the corner find a real coach. NE was 20 quality players ahead of the Jets though with this experiment. They may need another 2 win season before canning Glenn.

They should hire Chucky...

Bills have to rest a bunch of players , Mcdummy in the past has played the starters a little bit ...Guessing he'll rest at least half the starters, especially on defense ....

Love that Ravens play , thinking it gets to -4 quickly .

Buccs or Panthers should be the 7 seed , not a fan of this win your shitty division and get a home game ..

Seattle @ Santa Clara is basically a toss-up. I have this strong feeling SC win in a high scoring game...

I can't imagine either Bucs/Carolina would make it past the 1st Round...

If Pitt somehow wins, I don't see them making it past the 1st Round.

I don't know if Purdy is the "best" QB in the league but he's playing better than anyone. His pocket presence, ball placement / accuracy, mobility and much more are the best in the game right now. He is playing fantastic football. Going to be fun watching him against that Seattle defense. Kittle will be back, obviously a big plus. Niners offense and that defense make them an auto over play at this point. Not changing Saturday night.

That Steelers debacle yesterday was just that. Nothing short of it.

You really got a good one down there. Son and I are loading up on his rookie cards. Still cheap at the moment compared to any other starting QB from the last 3 years.
 
The Jets had the worst point differential in December in NFL history and they have the worst season differential in the history of the franchise and Glenn is almost definitely coming back.
 
Woody is the real life Rachel Phelps of football but unlike the movie Major League he will accomplish his goal of moving the franchise to London and all I can say is do it now.

Keep in mind the playoffs usually started the last week of December....Our bills had some really really bad teams that could barely cross midfield in 84 and 85 , believe they went 4-28...
The 84 team allowed the most points in history to that point

The Jets are the most useless franchise ever and there is no hope of it ever getting better. You literally could have hired any random homeless person off the street and they wouldn't be any more porrly coached than they are now.
