Week 16 Discussion Thread

The Miami Dolphins are benching quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, according to multiple reports Wednesday. Seventh-round rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers will reportedly start in his place against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

He looked terrible. I'm still pissed at myself playing Miami on Monday. Guy has nothing left, MAYBE a back up somewhere? But yeah, too many hits to the head. Retire and enjoy your money.

I’d start Zach Wilson before Quinn Ewers. I’m still of the belief you can get a Darnold-esque turnaround from Wilson if placed in the right program. Not sure Miami is it.

I’m hoping for Mac to fetch some value this offseason at 2.8 million and for SF to bring in Zach. He has tremendous upside and has now been with Payton and McDaniels.

This is a great spot for Seattle.

But you can’t ignore that for now 120 minutes that Darnold has been horrific vs the Rams. Playoffs and a few weeks back.

My one issue with Detroit totals this week is Steelers ball control. Rodgers 3-5 yard passes all day.

I do like Lions to win -- still handicapping possessions.

Rough 24 hours for Nacua. Seems like a kid that was really headed in the right direction as a bright young star in this league that is well received by his peers and fans. I’m not suggesting this completely derails that, however, multiple behaviors over the last couple of days are going to do some long-term damage to his reputation.

It also doesn’t help him that his brother steals a car amidst all of it.

My best NFL angle of the week: Phillip Rivers longest completion under 28.5. It's juiced pretty heavily now so wrapped it with Ole Miss and Oregon MLs to get it pretty close to even money. Had it for -110 last week and not sure Rivers even attempted a throw that long.

Just another 24 yr old kid who's great at one thing , but really naive and lacking basic knowledge on what is highly inappropriate...This generation seems to have more of these than the ones that preceded it ...
