Boilers opened with a TD, then Rutgers scored back-to-back TDs (PU got an INT on one of them but was negated by a roughing the passer penalty). RU then picked off Plummer and Knights took that possession for a 34-30 lead. In the 4th RU had a 1st and goal at the P05, but were called for O PI on a TD pass moving them back and they had to settle for a 28y FG. 37-30 mid 4th Q. PU went 3-and-out after a strange play call were Plummer was tackled for a 5y loss on a called QB run (PU basically wiffed on all their blocks), punting the ball back to RU with 5.26 but Knights were able to kill the clock converting a 4th-and-1 and 3rd-and-3 to ice it.
