Week 13 NFL Thoughts and Discussion

last game of the day ...Zona @ Philly ...

As I stated earlier the Eagles have been my fav play of the day all along .

Cards :

Roderick Hood starting CB questionable and recently benched Eric Green would take his place . Obviously a dropoff . He played what was termed emergency duty only last week vs NYG and didnt have a tackle. The Zona pass defense played poorly and NY had 2 options missing in Jacobs and Plax . They signed 5'8 CB Michael Adams from teh practice squad as insurance

Travis LaBoy DE has been battling injuries and Questionable.

Adrian Wilson starting safety has a bad shoulder and should play because he rarely misses a game . He is listed as questionable and appear sto be giving a go at less then 100% IMO.

vs the BLITZ HAPPY EAGLES DC this is relevant.................

According to STATS Inc., Kurt Warner has been blitzed 135 times this season with 96 completions (71.1%), 10 touchdowns, one interception, and four sacks.

Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson is known for devising game plans with heavy blitzing schemes, but the Cardinals are equipped to handle it with Warner and his unstoppable receivers

On the Philly side

Westbrook IN and Buckhalter appears to be OUT

Samuel appears OUT at CB and Sheppard draws the start ...

The injuries for both are making the OVER 47 very attractive but unsure because I had this lined up as UNDER originally .

Be back shortly:cheers:

Clark Haggans LB is also questionable ......

Mike Gandy OG is also questionable. He has been banged up for weeks but recently listed as PROBABLE on the injury reports . So the upupgrade to QUESTIONABLE seems to indicate he is worse off this week despite playing .

Matt Ware backup Safety and ST'er is OUT.

Leonard Pope starting TE missed vs NYG and is questionable

Plays : Pressed for time

Level 3 :
Eagles -2.5 -120

Level 2 (might make Level 3)
Texas 1st Half -20.5

Try to add what I can if I have a second

good luck sportsnut. nice calls on that dallas game.

Thanks bro. Had to step out for dessert and of course SEA had to make it interesting at the end . At least I can say I expected that to happen. Nice to get the next one right after having the early one so very wrong . I had to rush the DAL game because dinner was starting and same deal with the Eagles game . Missed out on somep plays but what can you do ....

:shake:
GL

Well it's official Texas is so OVERRATED. They stepped in shit beating Oklahoma and Okie State and Mizzou while solid are not elite teams. they cant blowout anyone and they cant score quick. The Oklahoma OFFENSE is so much better its not even worth comparing . Feel like an ass for talking myself into taking them even for just half . This LOSS bothers me more then watching the Lions get embarrassed . The Lions overmatched but Texas is overrated . Jackasses up 21-3 at half because they couldnt hold A&M on 3rd and 15 at the A&M 5 and thanks to a missed FG ......Oklahoma would have 38-42 points in the 1st Half. Naturally they will win the 2nd H 21-0 or 28-7 something but what BS thinking that team is great ...At home vs a team who has beaten you twice was +27 at home to OU and allowed 60 something pts , +26 @ Okie State and allowed whatever it was 50 or 60 something and they actually cant crack 21 let alone 30 in a meaningful half.....:36_11_6::cheers:

So from what I can seee/read Zona had consecutive 25 yd receptions that led to their scoring drive . That was basically all the entire offense did all day --105 net yds think 50 yds right there . Also survived a breaston fumble. Philly has 18 1st downs and is 4/5 on 3rd down . They have twice as many yards and ran twice as many plays . With Zona's defense shorthanded and w/o Hood or Haggans. Even w/o Samuel the Cards have been picked twice . Huge game for Philly see no reason why anything changes . 2nd H line seems to be begging for Zona money ......

2nd Eagles +0.5 Even {Level 1 )

Total uncertain but would lean UNDER .

Pending Max plays on :

Steelers +1 , SF +7.5 -120 and Vikings -3 but havent played it yet

Leans :

Bucs , Chargers , Raiders , Broncos and Texans besides what I listed earlier

your back nice day, level 3's hitting no probs--

good stuff, ur starting to get your groove on and picking shit nicely

Nice stuff Nut

Like this week's card---Balts, Giants, SF, GB, Pitt, Houston, Bears

Baltimore looks real good IMO

Thing with Minney is Bears are so stout in the run #5 in the league and I think they can pass it around better.

EDIT: Indy looks good too.

Sunday Thoughts :

Miami @ St.Louis :

Rams season goes like this ....0-4 and terrible don't even seem to care possibly hoping the HC gets fired , he gets fired they play some inspirational ball for a few weeks, injuries strike everywhere CB , OL and star RB Jackson , past month basically lost ever game by 21+ pts. So why take the Rams ? Are they going to win ? NO . Well they have one loss that was an ATS win was really thanks to the movement because it opened at 7. The game @ NE they lost by 7 and caught around 9 pts by close .So if we just pick the winner in STL games you would be 10-1 ATS .

Miami has been solid on the road to date and has only played away ONCE last 6 games. They are off a death match with NE at home though which is about the only knock I see on them. I would say Miami and Buffalo are very close to equal . Buffalo didnt even play well @ STL early and still managed to win and cover the -9.5 spread ....

Rams just havent been competitive and the number is reasonable . The BIG concern here is Miami has allowed bad teams like SEA and OAK to hang around at home despite manhandling them. Hopefully they are less complacent on the road . STL is also getting some key players back.

Looks like Stephen Jackson and Marc Bulger WILL play . They are using Mr.Irrelevant from this year's draft at MLB as Witherspoon will be in on 3rd downs (shoulders) . Orlando Pace should play .

With STL getting healthy its been said Haslett NEEDS to win at least 2 more games to keep the job. So have to think STL will motivated if they want to keep him. Phins lost Camarillo for teh season and Jake Long is banged up some .

I dont really like a side here and part of me feels that STL has its core guys playing on offense it might just win this SU . Both defenses are medicore to bad so the OVER 44 could be attractive .

Giants @ Skins :

Not much to say here but just feel its a bad spot for NYG . Skins need this badly and I just cant get the 2nd H adjustments they made in the season opener . Now with Home field and the cushion of 3.5 or 4 points just to much value to pass up . I think the Plax gun shot situation will serve as distraction . Robbins is banged up at DT . I just go back to the Skins game few weeks back vs Dallas it was lack of execution in the 2nd H that cost them. With key players out and others possibly less then 100% doesnt seem like NY day IMO.......also lean UNDER . Supposed to have heavy rains ......Not impressed by the WIN at Zona as they were overrated and see Wash as a tougher task ...

Indy @ CLE:

Colts lost Jeff Saturday and the OL could be in trouble again . Bob Sanders is still out and the injury report is limited with players who are questionable on the defensive side of the ball. Colts are finding ways to win each week and I just dont see how I can lay -4.5 points with them . Not this is shape . Think Indy has 7 wins most by a FG , 5 by 4 points or less , 6 at home to Houston and smoked Balt . Every road game has come down to the wire Houston , Minny , Pitt , SD ....Browns and the points no dropoff IMO from DA to Quinn might even have a QB with a chip on his shoulder .. Browns have lost 3 straight at home and 5 of 6 expecting a good effort here when no one expects anything .

SF @ Buffalo : Already mentioned I have a max play on SF +7.5

Just a value play . SF has come to play every week and Buffalo was dead before smoking KC . No one wanted to lay a FG@ KC with Bills so why a TD now ?????? Early start and all they impressed me at Zona and Dallas ....Hopefully Singletary continues to keep them motivated ....

Balt @ Cincy :

Another one I say no way . Cant lay that with Balt's defense being so-so on the road and Cincy with the long layoff playing hard every week. they just came up a few plays short @ PITT IMO and it unraveled for them. To many points even though I love Balt's improvement this game was a PK early on in Balt ..Mason playing with a seperated hspulder and Cincy was solid vs Pitts run game and love the extra rest for them........Ravens did little on offense last week @ home vs Philly ....thinking UNDER here big time...

NO @ TB:

Hard to pass on TB at home . They played the Saints tough in the season opener and nearly pulled it off. Look for NO offense to struggle here and the short week to catch up to them.

Car @ GB :

having toruble with this one but CAR offense has struggled on the road and GB is desperate for a WIN . Like taking the loser off MNF as well ......so GB ....bounce back . car has the fluke win @ SD to start the year and the ugly win @ OAK ....interesting to see hwo cold it is as well

Chargers , Oak , Pitt , Denver , Minny the rest of the day . The last 3 are definite plays .......

Good Luck and good nite . Finish up tmrw:cheers:

Level 3 plays (so far )

Vikings trying for -2.5
Steelers +1
SF +7.5

Skins , Browns , GB , Bengals , Bucs , SD , Denver(its a play but not sure how much ) and Houston leans

NUT what do you see in Cincy??

CLE as well.

These Ohio teams suck.

Cincy has the extra rest and preparation which I think is huge at this point . Look at the last 3 Bengals game what is bad about them? I agree they are a bad team but they have come to play each week and the Steeler game was on short rest after a full OT session.

They lost 27-10 @ Pitt which I had Pitt . Game was only 10-7 at half. It was 20-10 late 4th quarter . To me thats as good as can be expected . They held Willie Parker in check and the Steeler running game . They had 1 turnover only , they lost because they were 1-3 in the red zone and 0-1 in goal to go . Playing @ Pitt is about as tough as a defense you will have to play in as tough a spot you will have to play . So a great warmup for Balt .

Cincy took the tie vs Philly 13-13 a team similiar to Balt and beat Jax at home. Balt has played good ball but started self destructing @ NYG which was their 3 road game in arow and 5th in 6 weeks . So alot of travel for these guys . Derrick Mason is gutting it out with the seperated shoulder . The fact seemingly overlooked is how poor the Balt offense played AGAIN last week vs Philly . Actually they didnt play bad they just had ZERO offensive output .

I thought Philly lost the game in teh 2nd Q when they were driving in a 0-0 game and fumbled . They did nothing til late in the game which Philly was off playing 5 quarters @ Cincy .....anyway just to many points IMO ....Probably roll with the 1st H Bengals but think we see a very low scoring game like 17-14 .

Same deal with CLE. they do stink but they always seem to have expectations despite that . Now Quinn gets hurt and no one thinks they can win. Well I look at Indy and come away unimpressed with the LUCKY win @ SD and all the other close efforts they have had. To me there is just no value in the Colts. I would say if people like Indy wait till halftime hope they are down and bet them in the 2nd H because thats how most of their road games go. The loss of Saturday will only hurt the offense and the defense is banged up . I faded CLE off the MNF win but look at the 4 previous home games lose by 4 to Pitt , stomp the Giants , blow a big 2nd H lead to Balt and then do it again vs Denver . They have been in every game playing a team with a history of playing close games . Indy not running the ball lately . Just dont see the value in Indy dont see many teams they are worthy of laying more then -3 pts to on the road IMO........:shake:

Nut do you like Packers??

Delhomme has been regressing and is done as a good QB, he is terrrible IMo- panthers are a shit team IMo.

ALso like the vikings later-- also thought about Giants?

Nutt Good Points

Here's the thing with Cincy. Pitt is a in high 20's in rushing in league. Easy to shut them down and a team that I think is more apt to keep teams in the game than Balts. Still Pitt 80 some rush advantage, Cincy had like 150 total offense that game.

Balts is 4th in rush offense and 4th rush defense. Cincy is 20's for both.

Balts with Flacco has really come on and are blowing out teams they should

Cincy these guys just get drilled like it's their routine. the Philly game IMO means nothing. McNabb was not in the game team was reeling of NYG bad perf by Philly more than Cincy job.

Balts I believe will be able to run easily in this one. Philly had a great run defense and I know they had mostly defensive/special teams TD's. Offense some concern but I don't think Balts any less than Pitt's offense and also look at the numbers some way some how Balts is putting points up. They really are. Expect lots of possessions and wearing out of Bengal defense, Pitt wore them out.

INDY I agree they HAVE NOT shown ability to blow ppl out. Only blew Balts out. BUT IMO this team is consistent. They are really battling this year. Road/Away doesn't matter IMO Cle no home field this year. I look at this game alot like Houston @ Cle last week. I am telling you I think Derek Anderson is a big dropoff. They are having trouble moving it big time. Indy with Peyton will pass on Cleveland big time. This Cleveland dfense is horrendous. For me key will be Indy stopping CLE. Two teams going in opposite directions here. Cleveland is giving up Indy is in stealth mode right now picking up victories focused.

Would feel much much more comfortable with 3.

i agree sammy. inflated from huge "big game" wins lately for J-E-T-S.

Yes my friend, I agree the Broncos should score and make this game close, they have a huge motivational edge and should do well imo.

The line is high at -9 my friend--

My friend I dont know much either, you are talking to a guy who bet Washington state 2nd half for a big bet +14 and won lol-- amazing I bet that team and they WON me a big bet--

I knew they would play hard in their last half, and they did tying Hawaii 7 a piece--

Broncos will do well my friend

grats on the washington st bet .....

i bet an under involving washington state this year .... the cougars were shutout and i still lost the bet :(

Nut do you like Packers??

Delhomme has been regressing and is done as a good QB, he is terrrible IMo- panthers are a shit team IMo.

ALso like the vikings later-- also thought about Giants?

I tend to think GB is the toughest early game to figure . I am not high on CAR especially on the road but they did manage to make interesting @ ATL last week. GB on th eother hand as I was looking at their season not many food wins . Seattle , Det and Chicago very weak wins and the 2 good wins were Minny and Indy which were nothing special. Think Manning had 2 pick 6s and it was of the game where they trounced BALT.

GB was known for the soft run defense and CAR has 2 good backs . If the pass defense cant get straight now this team could be in trouble. I really dont see having interest tmrw and wouldnt be suprised to see GB win by 3 points either .

Vikings just are in a perfect spot IMO .

Not a fan of the Giants @ Wash situational. The game is HUGE for the Skins and while the Steelers beat them up one thing pops into my head. I knew Wash was dragging at that point as they had openly talked about geting to the bye . So getting manhandled that day vs Pitt could be more illusion then reality . I think Skins want this badly and the defense is so good at home. Take away the Giants primary weapons and you have nothing but role players . Just cant lay this number . To me its inflated as couple weeks back we had NYG getting a FG @ Philly and @ Pitt teams so very similiar to Wash. So basically its a TD adjustment and NYs best offense weapons are out or banged up....looks liek Skins for me. Like ST edge and play of WASH as well.....

:shake:

Yeah i agree VIkes at home vs a bears team who IMO is regressing---

This is the VIKES game to win-- no more fucking aruond they are at home and shuold win tihs game---

O-State -

From a statistical standpoint I cant disagree . Pitt rushing stats are based on a tough schedule and minus its primary back . Same deal with Balt's stats they have played an easy schedule .

The way I see it is Balt's offense has struggled consecutive games . For the most part Balt has been small favs or small dogs . This team was dogged @ Miami , Houston and Cle . Now they are laying a TD off what I feel is a mirage win. Just to big of a number IMO.

I will be on the UNDER for sure .

While Pitt did wear them out the comparision doesnt really mean much because Pitt was home and Cincy was away. To often I think no one realizes the difference in every players performance at home . Its not about fan sport but about comfort level. Thats what makes a home field edge . Anyway teams like Cincy will always wear down late in games on the road but bot to the same degree at home IMO.....

Jags are a run based offense and Cincy beat them as well.....

Again dont disagree much with Indy but difference is I bet the spread being good or bad. So I am simply making a play on the spread here . Manning will be able to have his way vs CLEs defense but the loss of Saturday at center could be huge. I dont think DA was the problem with CLE it was his WRs who cant catch. Then of course when DA has a bad series or stretch its all his fault. No one ever picked him up . Winslow lost the Denver game for Quinn with his fumble . Hopefully he plays with a chip . Its not even that they dont blowout teams they barely win and certainly dont deserve to win most days . SD , Minny ,Houston all 3 times they were outplayed and should have lost . They barely beat NE and couldnt stop Houston a few weeks ago. Cle just needs to play like it did on MNF and keep the chains moving .

:shake:

I already bet the broncos but was curious for your opinion if you get the time.

The one thing DEN is fairly good at it is throwing the ball . Not a big stats guy but look where NYJ ranks vs the pass . I dont think its a letdown spot but its certainly an INFLATED line IMO .

I will be on Denver as well just waiting it out .....

NY was unimpressive as big chalk except for STL which doesnt say much. Also think NY benefitted greatly from the long layoff after NE game . Denver playing to clinch 1st place still. Broncos actually only been dogged 3x this year and they self destructed vs OAK just ike NY did . Could see DEN ML cashing.......

East Coast weather is absolutely dreadful today. I've read Nut's thoughts on BUF/SF and while I think Singletary does have them playing hard, I don't know how you can go against the trend line of 0-16 for West Coast teams coming East. Maybe SF covers but doesn't win? I don't know. Also with bad weather. both running games really come into play. Need to check the weather for possible snow in Buffalo today.

Oakland @ Buffalo earlier in the year is the type game I thinking . Buffalo rallies to win in late .

I checked the past few years SF has played the last game or one of the last games of the year in cold weather around 30 degrees. They havent done much but they were generally around the spread with its backup QBs as well. SF is solid vs the run and Buffalo is not . Actually think bad weather will help SF more then Buffalo . 49ers struggle vs the pass and if bad weather disrupts the passing game which isnt built to really attack thru the air anyway . Nate Clements comes home and after a terrible game . Shaun Hill is a mobile QB another plus.

I was looking at the TOTAL thinking wow is this low but I am going to expect a game in the high 30 scoring wise here . Say 21-17......

While I am concerned about the trend and the fact B2B to travels EAST one thing stood out to me . SF in the 1st Quarter @ Dallas .

The belief is the time zone hurts the WC team but they missed a 52 yd FG , stalled at the 5 yd line settled for a FG and stalled at the 4 yd line FG for a FG . So tad better execution and they could have hung 17 points in the 1st Quarter vs Dallas.

They also were fine when they traveled earlier to NYG this season back in mid Oct .....

My belief is that worst case this is a 1 Possession game which is why I jumped on SF +7.5 -120 midweek .

Thats my case not trying to convince you just show you what I am thinking and that some of those concerns did cross my mind..

Buff defense since the Oak 24-23 win early on only allowed less then 20 points twice 14 twice and 20 once with the rest being 25 + pts ...Schoebel and Whitner OUT , Greer out but McKelvin played well last week.
:shake:

Teaser : Pitt +12 . Skins +14 , Vikings +6.5

Note: I bought out of my Steelers this morning at +1 my playing NE ML -125 . reason was I some books start to move it and now trying to get +3 -120 Pitt or better . Either way its a play just tried to get a better number . My amounts arent huge so a few bucks to get a key number was worth it IMO.

Leans :
Under 42 or better Buffalo and SF
1st Half Buffalo +3.5
1st Half Under Skins 21
1st Half Under GB and game Under

Will try update last few I add in ....BOL....

Any thoughts or questions or welcomed ......

Alot of dogs with some inflated chalkand bad weather .

WASH because of the situation and their defense . Huge thing is Sean Taylor Day and this whole mess that is hanging over NYG IMO with Pierce more then Plax. Pierce is a leader and just terrible timing IMO...especially knowing Taylor was shot to death ...Omen ??

Rams because healthy key players on the offense should help them compete with self destructing Miami . Who lost their cool last week especially on defense ....two bad special teams ....

gl nut

nut,
thanks for the effort. you are one of the best nfl cappers in terms of the mental aspect of this game. surprised to see you on the under in niners/buf.. both pass d's are bad. each team should get to the lower 20's. i expect the same for the pitt/new england total. i see this as the game of the week in regards to totals. see how they play out today. bad weather or not pitt is more of a pass team now and new england must pass to win as both off lines are not good run blocking teams even though this is the perception of the public. thanks again

Good health to ya bud with the Rams. They're go awful. They'll have a hard time stopping Miami's offense.

Wise - They are beyond awful. I had no intentions of playing them and was thinking Miami all along even took them in my Pick'em Pool . Just got curious if Haslett was actually told he needed to win a few more games to keep the job. I dont like how Miami unraveled mentally last week. To much of football is discipline orientated as we know . Porter refusing Sparano to come out the game not good . Special teams bad on both sides but Miami is terrible vs the pass . Hopeing STL spreads them out . Only went 1st Half because if its not a game at half then chances are its not a game at all ....

biggoob- Weather was the main factor for the lean on the SF total . This total should be closer to 46 but the unknown weather angle and with a total seemingly already opened to low made me think UNDER . I didnt play it because I couldnt confirm the weather up in Buffalo. Just expected alot fo short passes which both offenses love and a Buffalo run game which has improved vs a SF run game with Gore vs a weak run defense ....Kinda think the same happens up in NE lots of both short passes for both . NE will be hurt my the fact they cant run the ball . Miami and NYJ are two of the weakest staistical defenses so far vs the pass . Pitt and NE will be smash mouth football even if its not the standard run up the gut , power type football ....not touching either total ...BOL today bro......

VegasKyle- Thanks . I need alot of it .....So up and down yesterday in CFB after a great Friday . I realized my flaw though yesterday . Amount of games isnt the problem its the amount of games I capped thoroughly. Made some hasty decisions yesterday on some and just should have passed . Plus 2nd H plays I seem to be dead on some days and just off the others .....considering just football for awhile ....:cheers:I will be on Denver I know I left that out but just wanted to look at some stuff.....GL

Even though I am in NY would say the Meadowlands is only a half hour drive away . It is pouring here and expect the same for the Jets / Broncos game. Just a heads up ....:shake:

Denver @ NYJ:

Basically 2 teams coming off opposites ends of the spectrum . Jets ended the Titans PERFECT SEASON and Denver after consecutive road wins lost at home to Oakland laying 9 points ...OUCH . I am sure that since the opponent was OAK Shanahan was even more angry , upset , disappointed , enraged ,etc........

Early on in the season I remember saying we wont see how good the Jets are (or bad possibly) until around weeks 9 and 10 . They had a new OL something that always has an adjustment period or growing process . It also Favre come in mid preseason and try to learn something foreign to him . It was a new experience for him and again adjustment period . The whole offense had to get in sync . His #1 WR Lavernus Coles I think missed the entire preseason to boot and they had the young TE Keller as well . So out fo the gates expectations were to high .

Now with a win @ NE and @ TEN it could be getting back to that point . I love Brett Favre but come on MVP talk ??? Granted the WHOLE team played impressively at Tenny but still show me a good team that the Titans manhandled ?? A tough , physical defense like theirs will always impose their will vs bad offenses whether its home or away . Thats what their schedule is littered with . The good teams they faced gave Tenny hell each week . Indy , GB , @ Balt , all gave the Titans a game . Titans are a solid team who plays conistent football each week . Very good win but besides being undefeated I dont see that much more impressive them winning @ NE .

Is the line inflated ??

I would have to say yes . It may not be by much one thing I know is when I can confidently figure out of a LINE is out even 1 pt its tends to play out that inflated favorite does not cover . At best I could see Jets being -7 but really if Den was healthier would say -4.5 . Really Champ and the LBs are the key losses . RB has been a turnstyle and all have been somewhat effective IMO . Scheffler out @ TE killed them as did when the WRs were also banged up at that time .

I dont feel the Jets have a letdown here but they played such a great game its very hard to duplicate such a near perfect effort . It's almost like asking a SP to throw back to back no hitters . When talking the inflated spread into account to me thats what they are asking for if yu bet NYJ --back to back no-no's...

On Denver's side I pay attention in football to how teams win and lose more then just about any factor (sounds simple not as simple as it sounds) . Some guys thinks it crazy that I am not watching all these CFB and NFL games but I dont feel like it helps all that much . Naturally I watch them at times but I dont need to see every second of a team to know what they are about .

Anyway Denver KILLS themselves on offense with turnovers . It has hurt them all season and really this popped up again vs Oakland . Which I think the loss of momentum is what catapulted OAK to the win here more then anything . Not even included in turnovers is missed FGs which are probaly even worse then turnovers .Prater had a GREAT strong leg but accuracy is not his best suit . I think he is best fom 50+ when he can just boom it or under 40 yards . When its in the 40's and it needs some touch or an angle he isnt very solid IMO. Concerning at the Meadowlands obviously.

Oaklnad has better pass defense the NYJ but stinks vs the run so opposite of the jet defense .

1st DEN possession they fumble around the OAK 5 yd line after a LONG drive that is incredibly deflating .

2nd DEN possession they get inside OAK 30 but miss a 47 yd FG . Not automatic but after fumbling away easy points already really bad time to miss .

3rd DEN possession another long drive which stalls but they at least get a FG .

4th possesion they finally PUNT on a 3 and out but it was 4th and 1. Which they PUNT it and Higgins has an 89 YD TD return . This kid is electric though .

So now they are losing 10-3 in a game they have played well on offense except for putting points up . Less then 1 minute left and DEN ball they actually drive 50 yards and get to the OAK 26 settling for the FG attempt . Of course Prater misses again.

10-3 OAK at half and they just clearly outplayed them but let them HANG AROUND .

Denver could have went into half and come out flat . They didnt as they strung a long drive together which ended in the tieing TD .

Of course DEN defense now falters and allows a 51 yd TD pass to lelie on the 1st play . Which eventually becomes a TD . DEN ball and they have a quick 3 and out and again the momentum is swining back to Oak. Now Oak is grinding away getting a 3rd pass conversion from Michael Bush , a 3rd down conversion from Fargas , and the 1st and 10 at the Den 30 pass intefrence put the ball on the 5 yd line ....TD eventually.....

So DEN was just climbing uphill all game and in the 2nd H when it came time to make plays they didnt .

DENVER is in 1st place and fighting to keep that division lead so again off a bad game not effort I expect they to come to play .

NY just seems very equal to Atlanta IMO a team DENVER beat SU as 6.5pt dogs which was probably 3 pts to many to begin with ........

Bad weather , two teams who can be turnover prone and both rely on the QB to make plays ......Just want to check at the DEN injury report as some LBs are questionable to come back here as are Royal and Champ.....

Might have a big play on the UNDER 48 as well ....thinking 24-20 game ...

2nd Half :

Lean Browns - Think huge momentum swing before half . Indy moving the ball and cant score that is never good

nut,
thanks for the response. it shows what i know about totals. san fran is blanking the bills and this total looks lost...appreciate all your effort and look forward to your afternoon thoughts...:)

1st H Under SD 24 (L1)
Under 41 or better OAK (L2)
Under 48 or better DEN (L2)
Den +8 (L1) -hoping Jets play well 1st H so I can grab a play at halftime ...

RECAP:
Hurt by the missed FG to push the H Skins +3 play . Hurt by not playing TB -2.5 even at -140 and the Balt under 36 going over on a TD by Balt with less then 3 minutes to play ......

I messed up the DEN game by trying to overthink and wait till halftime .....

2nd H :

SD -4.5 -120 (L2)

Lets hope the goal stand provides momentum for the CHARGERS . Didnt look that bad on offense but TOD on 1st possession and ATL had GREAT field position everytime ....

Take the vet team at home who is down vs the young team away on the road ..Falcons have always played better in the 1st H see Car last week ,Car on the road , GB on the road , Den at home to name a few ......

It's also nice to finally get 2 breaks today .

ATL stopped on the 1 yd line saving my 1st H under and the NE after Pitt tied it missing an EASY FG . Had alot of tough losses early and in the NBA lost teh 1st H under @ Det when they scored 10 pts in the last 1:10 ...a jumper with 2 seconds left was the dagger ....

so u like the over 2h in sd? gotta think sd hurries up a bit

SD usually plays 1st H unders and 2nd H overs . Would be cautious though when a play gets "moosed" I act cautiously. Everyone who had the 1st H over or liked the game over will be chasing the total .

If SD scores they will go for 2 pts and that will probably be the key if they convert or ATL wins this SU and just runs out the clock...

I dont have an opinion but clearly the arguement for the over makes sense..:shake:

yeah.. i stayed away because of the 2pt conversion factor with an 8pt lead... i see the hook screwing someone.... how u lean for the raiders and pitt totals? Kinda like both unders..
