Week 13 Discussion Thread

I couldn’t do it. I can pass but I hsve 0 faith in that team. Freeze been a serious disappointment, I thought things were gonna look way better when he showed up. I don’t entirely trust the Aggies qb’s but I do trust the defensive talent and the coach. I think this almost a freebee for Aggies if you willing to be a square!

I think I love this card. This the one gane i was worried for ku ti win out to make a bowl. I dunno who wins I already accidentally wrote bout it in last weeks thread, lol, anyways my thinking here is forget the side, assuming good weather 59 a joke, this game will be in the 70s. I’m no expert when it comes to line moves but if weather good this total should close more like 63.5 cause im pretty damn confident this a fireworks show.

They are shit and I love every minute of it even though it was very predictable

I have to look closer at UConn but I get the feeling these mfers not lining cuse games real well, them being 10 point dogs to cal was stupid but here I feel like -10.5 might be a bit much. I don’t know UConn real well so I gotta look at some things but my guy McCord didn’t throw a pick last week, if ucon has any ball hawks in secondary this could be interesting.

I really thought freeze was gonna turn them around, I’m an idiot. I lost a bunch on them till I finally figured it out. 😂 Think I might be a big square and get some that money back with Aggies!

I don't even remember who was giving me rubbish about them a few weeks ago. Like a fan. They suck and any chance to fade them is a victory for me.

just glancing I don’t think there any chance in hell Aggies lose this game. I know goofy shit happens at that stadium but I just don’t see it. Cant see Auburn sniffing 20 points.

Think I’ll be on that fade train here, I’m not buying that bs line.

I wonder if byu totally falls apart now that the magic gone? How asu isn’t ranked is baffling to me. They worked over k-st in that 1st half.

Man it was a weird night where someone wanted to bet on my harsh call out that they should be lined at 3.5 wins. Of course that was fun and taking a stance but it was pretty funny that whoever it was thought that was a line I was taking bets on considering the actual line at that time was 6.5. People get loopy when you fuck with their teams.

I've never actually met an Auburn fan in person. That year they won it with Cam here, everyone I met was an Oregon fan.

I was an auburn fan that year! I loved cam! Plus all the shit with him and money; I always rooted for the kids ppl tried to knock for getting what they deserved before it was allowed.

You know me tho. I’m just a fan of whomever I like at the time. I’m attached to no teams, just the ones making me money a given year!

Let's take a step back

CFB was actually cool when the two best teams played against each other once, for the title

We're in no man's land now. I don't even have a clue who is in this tournament outside of conference champions. Complete shit show, like who even fuckin' cares about a 2 loss team in this?

I like the new UCF QB. Took them 4 times to get it right

Yea I was bout to come back and post I woulda liked this a lot better with one ucf running ab’s, I was thinking wvu shits on the run game and wins easy but I’m little more hesitant noticing ucf has a kid appears can play qb, like actual qb where you throw the ball!

It’s not the playoff that bothers me. What I’ve found I absolutely hate is these super conferences where nobody playing remotely the same schedule. How you decide a true conf champ when there 20 fucking teams not playing schedules that even remotely resemble the other?? That is the trash part this whole deal for me.

It's all about the line

General question for the board....

For those that are into monitoring line movements, what are your thoughts on this year compared to year's past? Historically, I have been shy to bet against line moves based on the belief that it was a clear sign of sharp money. But I just don't get the same feeling this year and have been much more willing to bet against line moves (this is particularly the case in early season college hoops for me). I don't know if anyone follows Fez, but he has said multiple times that just because someone is betting big money, it doesn't make them sharp. That resonates. I also think the widespread legalization has an impact here too, but I really just do no know how much.

In any event, curious on others thoughts here. There was a time in years past where if I saw a drastic pre-game line move against my side, I almost knew my play was dead in the water. Now.....not so much.

There are more people betting now than ever.....so many sites with line variance. I dont pay any attention to line movements anymore.....except a little when I think a total should move one way and it keeps ticking in the other direction.....and yes, just because you have a lot of money to bet doesn't make you a good bettor.

Public crushing this year. Sportsbook getting slaughtered overall.

I agree.

This is almost new thread worthy.
