Week 12 Start/Sit

Gorgolon Lives

The Reverend of CTG
Playing for 1st place in my division this week, and my QB is on BYE. My back ups are injured. That leaves me with this choice:

Palmer vs Indy
Glennon at Detroit
McCown at STL

Flex is standard:

S Vareen
J Graham

Start 2 for flex:

Steven Jackson vs NO
T Williams @ NYG
Coby Fleener @ ARI
Boykin vs Minny
Shorts @ HOU

McCowns been steady, but he won't give you a lot. Glennon could have a tough time in Det. I'd go Palmer, but by default.

I'm starting McCown during Wilson's bye week. passed on Glennon, don't think Palmer was available... might go Palmer but also like McCown.

^ And just to bring it full circle, I kind of like Jennings and Brown. So you're back where you started.

Two in the CTG3 league, I could use a win ...

Pick one.
RGIII v. San Fran
Luck @ AZ
(Leaning RGIII)

And kind of slim pickins' here, but pick two, at least one must be a WR, other one can flex. 0.5 ppr.
T. Austin v. Chicago
R. Streater v. Tenny
Vereen v. Denver
Ogbonnaya v. Pitt
(Leaning Austin & Vereen)

Vareen....I can't imagine there isn't a better option on teh waiver wire than either of those two WR

Imagine it. Highest projected availables according to yahoo are Hartline (v. Carolina), Burleson (v. Bucs) and Marlon Brown, who I just cut in favor of Streater (v Jets). Burleson and Brown both gimpy. Added Streater thinking the Raiders may have a whiff of a passing game now, but don't like the Tennessee game. So leaning Austin. They got to get that guy the ball.

Both owned. This is a D-Jax on the bye problem, by the way. If he or Jordy go down, I'm fucked at one of the WR spots. Left with the two gems we've been discussing, and Marvelous Marvin Jones.

What would you guys do in this situation? I have J Thomas going Sunday night. He is listed as questionable, so I am worried he will not start or be limited. I have Graham on the bench going against Jax at noon.

Would you start Graham or take a chance Thomas plays. Obviously I will wait till tomorrow morning to see if there is an update, but if he is still questionable what would you do.

Tough call. Haven't read into Julius injury but I'm starting Olsen over him in one league. Maybe u got a guy u can drop for Dreesen?

Appearing on GameDay Morning, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported it's "not looking good" for Julius Thomas (knee) to play Sunday night against the Patriots.
Thomas will work out this morning, and the Broncos are expected to make a decision on him then. The Denver Post calls him 50-50 to play, leaving Orange Julius as a full-blown game-time decision. Fantasy owners need to have a backup plan in place. You can start by picking up Joel Dreessen, who would draw the start for the Broncos if Thomas can't play. Keep it locked here for updates.

PPR. Need three of these 5:

Z. Stacy (STL)
A. Peterson (MIN)
C. Johnson (TEN)
A. Brown (NYG)
B. Rainey (TB)

please help!

Did a flurry of trades for injured QB's and/or QB on bye (Cutler, Foles, Rodgers) in hopes of bolstering for a playoff run. (We can start as many as three QB with one at flex.) However, it has left me with this choice, the only two starting QB's on the waiver wire this week … I must start one of 'em so pick one. Very QB-friendly scoring, 6 for passing TD's, etc.

Henne @ Houston or McLovin v. Tenny … leaning Henne

thanks Tip - that's what I had plugged in, but concern about AP health and CJ2K going against Oakland D is enticing.

Would go with McLovin' over Henne

Feeling like Henne will be airing it out for better or worse, 10-point underdog. Week's worth of film under McLovin's belt. Tough choice between these turds.
