Week 12 SEC

Head of Alabama Department of Decision-Making
The best week of the year for SEC haters:

UGA (-43.5) vs UMASS

Mizzou (-5.5) @ Tennessee

AU (-28.5) vs Liberty

aTm vs UAB

Arkansas (+19.5) @ Miss St

LSU (-44) vs Rice

Kentucky (-14) vs MTSU

Ole Miss (+2.5) @ Vanderbilt

Florida vs Idaho

Alabama vs The Citadel

South Carolina vs Chattanooga

Haven't dived in, but there's usually money to be made this week backing teams that need the win for bowl eligibility, fading teams that have packed it in, etc.

Right off the bat, tell me about Rice. I know they suck, but should LSU be laying 6 TD+ to anyone?

Over in Nashville has my attention.

Will take a long look at Arkansas. Definitely could see an under there too

Does UK bounce back?

UAB going to put up more of a fight than aTm was thinking when they scheduled

If Tua plays, it won't be for long, and Saban tries to get this game over as soon as possible and get some experience for younger guys. I imagine that will be even more so with the new redshirt rule. Alabama opponents this week have scored 0, 3, 6, 14 and 0 the last 5 years. Could see a 45-0 score very easily, so if you want to bet this one, that's what I would expect. Wonder what the 1H line will be?

Tennessee needs to win one of the last 2 to go bowling. Nice job by Pruitt regardless of outcome, but if they get to 6-6 or 7-5, he deserves consideration for coach of the year

How much does AU have left in the tank? They've given up 201 and 309 rush yards the last 2 games. The defense has to be wearing down with no help from the offense. AU hasn't covered the week 12 game under Gus, with many way closer than it should be. Will take a long look at Liberty

South Carolina needs the win to get to 6 wins, although didn't they schedule a make up game for championship weekend?

Virginia only outgained LIberty by 34 yards. I am not sure about all the O starters, but I know for sure that QB Perkins and RB Ellis were both still playing well into the 4th qrt, I stopped watching at some point, but they may've even finished the game. Atleast 3 of the 4 questionable UVA D players also played in the game. So while Liberty might not have been getting a fully focused effort from UVA, they were facing all their best players. Liberty O really struggled in the 2nd H, but their D played better than I expected in the 2nd H as well.

Yes. Strange to say this though, but UAB is off a division clinching OT win, Blazers could be a little flat themselves.

Certainly a consideration. I'd think that the chance to show out against an SEC team would be a great motivator, but also have to factor in that there's little to be gained in this game compared to having everyone ready to go to win the conference title

1H mid TN St/UK set at o/u 23.5 & 9. This sets up UK TT around 14.5- 17. Dows anyone think the Raiders can hold the Cats under that total?

Gators are free money. Last home game, senior day, getting Emory good reps at qb. Idaho is terrible, particularly aware from.their home fun house.

They got crushed by a down Montana team last week that should lose today to Montana State.

I dont see 1st half line.

Wonder how many Petrinos will be at the Idaho - Florida game...Mason is the QB for Paul's Idaho team. Doesn't look like a 'quality' Idaho program they have sometimes had.

Sandwhich for Gators?...given they clawed their way back in last week's fiasco, plus with FSU on deck.

Usually this would be true, but they will not know until the Noles have played. Should be a business as normal type game in which the non-RS players get some action. I predict we lose, eliminating any chance for a bowl and losing to Gators by DD. SICKENING...

I’d be careful with overs in these games, especially LSU and UGA. If you think they will hit it by themselves, then bet it. Can’t count on umass and rice to contribute. Same with Alabama-Citadel

You would hope the opposition puts up at least 10 points to help with the over, but then again they may nor cross midfield until the 4th.

Although, I do like Tenn +6.5 and Arkansas +21.5.

Either you or I will have a day, cuz I played Mizzou and Miss St, it dont mean anything, just flat betting what I like.

GL spooks

Also have to factor in what UGA is trying to accomplish here and to a lesser extent LSU/AU. They want to get a lead and then get out of the game with no injuries. Not a whole lot of incentive for them to keep their best players in long if they don’t have to. Much different in week 12 vs week 3. New redshirt rule also in play

Simply put...reduce these games to halftime and play accordingly.
