week 12 big ten

I think it makes sense they play well. It helps they are awesome. LOS domination looms.

Hell. They are at home. Blue is going to crush.

Indiana played some dirty ass football and Michigan loses one of their best players due to it. Sickening. Just sickening.

Why are you trash-talking me about Sparty when if I respond you‘re going to flip out?
I'm actually not trash talking at all. They don't have good QB play. That Lombardi kid is trash. He had a solid first start but has sucked since. Lewerke is very average this year and now hurt as well. Just stating the obvious. It will be an interesting 3 man race next season.

Yes, hurt. Had a fine season with a crappy OC last season. Hopefully gonna be healthy and even better and with healthy receivers next season

They are so deep at WR... They had guys transfer out. The roster depth issues are showing in general though.

Yea coming into the season they were really deep and a lot of future studs are there. But they've had so many injuries that they repeatedly have to rely on a cornerback! Not to mention the o-line.

The CB isn't exactly 'green' when it comes to playing receiver. I know all about injuries as a UM fan. Remarkable season we had last year in retrospect.

Nice pun :)

Yeah I mean played it in high school but that's so different from practicing every week in college at the position.

No doubt, not having a healthy Higdon against Wiscy sucked for instance. Injury bad luck is a part of the game but it tends to vary year from year. Sparty should be a lot healthier next year.

spartyesque, i'll call it. a bunch of cheapshot artists on that team every year.
It was. I mean, the two injuries were malicious but there were so many! And to think, a John O'NEILL crew would just happen to be there and not get things cleaned up. That guy should never officiate a football game again.

By the way @cubsker ... Good win today. This won't take too long. These are important games even with a bowl out of reach. That was a 'character' win.

Disaster day for me betting any sort of favorite it seemed. Oh well, only thing in life that matters to me now is next Saturday. This is it for us. Thank god its a short week at work, cuz my mind will only be on the game. About 15 of us already planning a tailgate at 9am at my buddy's then in to watch the game. Its gonna be glorious either way when we all get together for a big M game. Just get me to Indy.

Did not know where to put this, but the MD fake punt was a thing of beauty. Great concept and run to perfection. Rarely do I see a single play that simply stands out. That play did.

This is another that comes to mind. Just innovative.

I mentioned this in the in-game thread. That was really goon-like on multiple occasions. You see cheap shots on occasion in games, but not over and over. I didn't see the Harbaugh presser but I'm guessing there was something said about it.

Dirty shit by Winovich earlier in the game provoked the injury that happened to him. He acted like Suh intentionally stepping on legs coming out of the pile.

Anyone with insight on Winovich injury? Had saw someone from The Spun (was thinking it was) say their source said broken collarbone. But also heard ex-rays negative.

In the OSU post-game, Urban started to say MCL for Thayer Munford then caught himself and backtracked mentioning an ankle and claiming he didn’t know.

Twitter rumors we're broken collarbone. That was incorrect from everything I've gathered. We shall see on extent. You won't know if he is playing till 12:20 Saturday IMO unless he isn't dressed for warm-ups.

Out of 130 FBS schools, only 8 have scored fewer points than Michigan State this season: Akron, Central Michigan, Northern Illinois, Rice, Rutgers, UTEP, UTSA and Wyoming.

That is quite astonishing. I mean maybe not when you look back at the production of their games, but just putting it like that. To equate to some of the worst teams in college football....man.

I watched every snap of the Penn State - Rutgers game. Rutgers played well, but there were definite plays to be made by PSU that they failed too...McSorely was off target. Receivers dropped balls. I don't know if MSU is any better suited offensively though. Rutgers really struggled on O naturally. Would figure they struggle even moreso this week assuming MSU plays with the same effort on D they normally do.

Purdue rolls. This coach stuff from a team distraction standpoint couldn’t be more overblown. They will show up today on senior day needing a win to get bowl eligible against a team they haven’t beat since the 90’s or something ridiculous.

Purdue 38-14

Crazy how close this was to being a reality or more like a 34-13 final and somehow turned into a 47-44 3OT loss. I'm still not over it but reality is this program is a year or 2 away from not wearing down like that at the LOS to the Wisky's of the world. Bottom line is though it shouldn't have come to that...
