Coming off a really poor week of posted plays......Daily being out for Army basically crashed the system.....two plays and do not plan on adding.....will add some thoughts later, but wanted to post after I played these at book tonight.....3 units each

Penn State -13 1/2 v. washington
Oregon -25 v. maryland

Quick thoughts why I am backing Penn State.....

1. Really tough spot coming off huge USC win, although Penn State obviously in a bit of tough spot too
2. UW really, really undisciplined, especially on the road -- there is no way you can expect a clean game from UW.....2 big mistakes at least
3. Penn State D is legit and while we have some offensive dudes, i don't think we have the ability to get Coleman going here and I don't see us getting more than 17
4. UW D is shaky against the run and I could see Penn State ramming down throat and then really open up to big pass plays...I think the Iowa game is a good sample for what we see today
5. I like Fisch, but he very much has the attitude of "it doesn't matter if we lose by 3 or 30"......he will not play conservatively, especially if behind......both Indiana and Iowa put up some late points based on failed aggressive decisions (especially Iowa
6. Peanut owes the Alumni/boosters a cover here.....he will coach to get it if needed

I definitely see a letdown post USC. That one is sweeter due to old rivalry ties.

I have had 'over' in my lean list. This seems to support it.
