Week 10 in the FCS

New Haven tempting at +18.5

I think standard operating procedure is people fade them and line gets bet up. It's worked as they haven't covered as dogs vs anyone (MH, Duq and LIU) - except they beat Albany. SHU is good relatively speaking in their own sense...are they that good?

Yeah was tempted because I’m not convinced Sacred Heart will win in a blowout as I think more 31-14 or 31-17 type game but trying to stay away from bad teams playing on the road.

That makes 10 FCS for me so far. Hate having an even number of plays, so debating between the following at BM, so I won't be limited...CCSU now down to -5, Maine but no ML up, Mercer/Furman over 53.5 (52.5 at FD but can't put enough on it to make it worthwhile)

Mercer total has dropped to 51.5 at FD but still 53.5 119 at BM...Hopefully BM drops to 51.5 as I will buy to 50.5 as I like staying under 55, 54, 52, 51 in this instance, but not sure if that will happen

This is always my favorite part of the day just because starting at 1 there will be so many games on at once there is no possible way to keep up with 40 games going from 12 to the 3:30 kicks even though I try. This is the only time I can actually watch football and not just change channels and score check constantly

Using fubo trial which ends tonight but may run with it for 30 days at the $30 off discounted price. Can’t do my multiview like YouTube tv but does have espn unlimited so I can watch survivor series next month

Penalties killing the over as Tech gets called for another hold after converting a 4th down near the red zone and ends up punting at the 35 as a result

Is it possible for Tenn Tech to play any worse?

Punt Return TD called back
4th down conversion nullified on a holding call
Opening KO return fumbled on 10 yd line
Roughing the kicker giving Webb a first down
A couple of drives to the Webb 35 and coward coach refuses to go for it and punts

No more bets on this shit team and loser coach the rest of the year.

I have watched them a number of times and this game has been so weird. They keep trying to play the field position game but nothing comes from it. Their offense has no flow at all today.

10 minute drive for a missed FG

Over is done

Two coward coaches that think its 1965 and FG's should be attempted rather than going for it on 4th and short

St Francis led 10-0 and finished with a 336-180 ttl yard edge, but lost 4 TOs including a pick-six which gave Wagner a 13-10 3Q lead. SFU choose to tie late 4Q instead of going for a 4th-2 at the W08 with under 2min left. Wagner took the ensuing KO and drove down the field and made the walk off winning FG.

LIU missed two FGs that would've tied the game in the 4Q at CCSU. The last FG came from the C01 after LIU had 3 cracks at the EZ, but were unable to get in or throw it in. CCSU blk'd the 18y FG to escape with the 10-7 win.

New Haven was in the game early as they sometimes have been vs others, led 10-7, but Sacred Heart reeled of 3 straight TDs to get up 28-10, NH kicked FG mid 4Q to cut it to 15, SHU scored again to make it a 22pt margin but NH scored again under 2min left to lose by 15. They combined for 24 4Q pts.

NC A&T led 3-0....then Towson scored the next 55 pts and finished with 62. They rolled up 527 ttl yards good for 9.2ypp. Indorf was back at QB.

Lehigh got their first truly dominant win of the year on the scoreboard vs Georgetown. Hoyas did Fumble at the L02 which LH recovered in the EZ and later were SOD at the L33 and L01 at the end of the game. Respect to them for not kick a meaningless FG down by 42.

Yale was killing the final 7 minutes of clock when they faced a 4th-2 at the C16 with 2:14 to go with a 24-10 lead. Pitsenberger broke a run on the outside and heading towards the EZ, he stopped and took a knee at the C01 where Yale took knees from there to win by just 14 pts. The line closed around 19.5.

Robert Morris -Stonehill looks as uneventful as one would've expected.

Holy Cross once again failed to top 300y of O, but they scored on a punt return to lead 13-7 2H. But Lafayette had a couple TDs in them yet to win 21-13.

Princeton led 14-0 and 17-7, but Tiger O was bad 2H and Cornell came back on them with the winning TD being the result of a Princeton QB being sacked/fumbling at own 33 - Cornell scored go ahead TD early 4Q. Princeton had a couple drives across the 50 but neither were sustained. Princeton was just 1 of 12 on 3rd down (3 of 5 4th down).

Presbyterian led 43-7 off a 22y fumble return TD, but Valpo scored TD :40 left.

Drake got up 24-13 mid 4Q, Butler scored (2pt no good) = 24-19 and Butler D forced a punt on the ensuing possession, but Butler muffed it at the B47 and Drake was able to kill the final 5min by converting a 4th-3 and a 3rd-4 before taking knees from the B24.

Davidson led 24-13 4Q before Morehead put together two 77y TD drives among their final possessions and MH ended the game at the D14. MH had 4 possessions past the D15 result in 0 pts in the 2H (SOD x2, missed FG, end game).

GW led 7-0 early off a 3p16y TD drive after Tennessee Tech fumbled the opening KO. TTU would've taken a 10-7 lead, but a punt return score was called back by penalty and then they converted 4th-1, but that was also called back by penalty and they punted from the G46. GW led 14-3 after a 18p98y 9min drive. 14-10 HT then GW went on their second clock killing drive, 15p66y 8-1/2 minutes for a 26y FG. TTU would have a FD in GW territory, but ended up punting. TTU took their first lead of the game 17-14 early 4Q, added a RZ FG...20-14, another quick TD...27-14, but GW responded with a 4th down 24y TD pass late 4Q and TT killed the final 4min.

Maine has now won 5 in a row and jumped on Stony Brook 14-0. Maine led by as many as 28-7 3Q before SB made a run at a comeback but their onside kick was recovered by Maine with :39 left. Workhorse SB Roland Dempster was held to just 22y on 14 carries.

Merrimack and Colgate was tight throughout. Merrimack had few leads until Colgate regained the lead in the 4Q 20-17. Merrimack kept fighting, threw an INT from the C09, but forced a punt and took over at their own 10 :41 left. They were able to move down the field and kicked a FG from the C37 as time expired to go to OT. Merrimack had a pass INT'd top OT1 and Colgate made the walk off FG 23-20

Even vs a downgraded Monmouth O, Bryant had no O and despite keeping it close early, 21-7 HT, the final would go 35-7 with Monmouth finishing 481-226 (7.2-3.8) yard edge (48att-263y rushing).

Samford showed up ready to play, except they liked throwing INTs and Wofford scored on TWO pick-sixes plus a safety making their D with more points responsible for 16 than the Wofford O with 10. As a result Samford had a 351-191 (4.3-3.1) yardage edge.

Charleston Southern led by as much as 20-3! SEMO cut it to 20-17 and still had a chance at 23-17 but the CSU D was too strong with a lot of QB pressure.

Montana State QB Lamson passed for 343 3-0 as Cats handed Northern Colorado a loss straight out of 2024 55-7. UNC went 3-out punt 5 of their first 6.

St Thomas led 35-0 HT and cruised to a 45-0 win vs Marist with a 406-182 yard edge.

Furman was in the game vs Mercer, partially. Furman led 13-0 and only trailed 28-31 3Q before Mercer scored the final 3 TDs to make the final 52-28. Mercer D did force seven 3-out punts in the game. Atkinson continues to build his Jerry Rice Award resume 28-49-426-4-0 + rushing TD.

South Carolina State led 36-10 early 4Q...they won just 36-30! Morgan recovered an onside kick as part of their scoring run and their final TD came with just 1:08 left.

VMI led The Citadel 21-0 and 24-7! But they fumbled at the C05 halting their offense from continuing to build their lead and The Citadel O got hot finishing the game with 4 straight TDs while VMI only gained 28y on their final 3 drives of the game. Up 4, Citadel was running out the clock when they had a 4th-1 at the V33 and they threw into the EZ which was caught for an exclaimation point TD with just :12 left!

Richmond did eventually get up by 10 against Fordham, but it was a struggle. It was tied 7-7 after Fordham recovered a muffed punt and scored a TD from the R04. Once Richmond got up by 10, Fordham turned in their only good drive of the game to make it a 3 pt game mid 4Q, but these offenses were tapped out and could find no further points on the day.

One of the big shockers on the day was South Dakota upsetting North Dakota. USD led 26-7 after an 80y fum ret TD, but UND came back to make it interesting. USD only led 26-21 4Q and UND drove to the SD29 with a first down, but two runs and two incompletions turned the ball over with 4-1/2 to go. They had one more chance and got out to the 50, but threw 4 straight incompletions. UND had a 382-270 (5.7-4.7) yardage edge. Inaddition to the D score, USD had a big KO return set up a very short field TD drive and an INT set Yotes up at midfield for another TD (14pts off TOs total).

That's 12:00 through 2:00. Probably won't do the rest. Pretty tired right now.

That Lafayette ending was crazy as Holy Cross pretty much no offense but then drove down to around the 10 in the final minutes, but got stopped on downs at the end.

Not sure what I was watching with Lamar as it was like they didn’t realize they had a 3pm kickoff and never recovered after the slow start

Opposite with Bethune as they seemed in control but couldn’t put MVSU away as a few plays allowed them to hang around. Both bad calls on my part.
