I'll start. Dallas w/o Romo and a rookie starter. They are not a great home team in the best times. Just think it's a bad spot and Giants should win. D-Line for Giants? Improved, yes?

SD +7....Rivers plays well in KC, very young secondary for KC now + Houston out so pass rush is a big ?....Chiefs by 3
Dallas PK.....Dak + Zeke coming out party IMO. Giants D should be better but I see a big start for Dallas O with easy early schedule ( @ Wash, v Chicago)

Home teams on a Thursday night in Week 1 have gone 12-1 SU (9-2-2 ATS) since 2002.

Doncos 24-3 SU in home openers since 1989.

Defending Super Bowl winners are 19-3 SU in home openers since 1994 also.

I know it's only pre-season but Wentz only saw 38 snaps in the NFL field in week 1 outside of practice. He's going to take some time to adjust to NFL game, speed and athleticism...and then there's chase daniels, coin flip of a game.

agree with Aplous regarding Chase Daniel.. Very solid but never has gotten a chance. Hard to feel sorry for him because he is making millions without the abuse to the body. Wish Vikings would sent a #2 to Philly for him instead of the #1 for Badfraud. Remember when Daniel was in New Orleans, Breese made the comment that if Daniel was in right situation he is a top 5 QB type talent. Right situation was in Minny IMO. Vikes will regret that deal for a long time.. Philly was big winner

the over has a bit of my interest but i just cant do it ... the panthers defense isnt as good as it was last year and high altitude for a sea level team in the first full game of the season wont help matters...but i feel like the first week is usually very sloppy football.

Panthers are the better team, no way does $cam play as poorly as he did in the SB. He was half the reason they lost.
