Am I the only one that loves Baylor -4.5 ? After that fiasco last season in Waco I think the Bears are going to be foaming at the mouth for that Austin visit.

Baylor will be on a bye - Kansas @home - bye schedule 3 weeks prior will the Longhorns will be off a visit @ K State the week before.

If I could I would pound the hell out of that line.

I'm only about 15% through my PRs but at first look in week 1 I would lean:

Hawaii +21
Vandy +5.5
Arkansas -20.5
Tennessee -19.5
UGA -3.5
Notre Dame PK
FSU -3

Be careful with this one. Muschamp seems to be leaning toward Brandon McIlwain to be his starter at QB. The kid can play.

He enrolled early. However he played baseball which has certainly distracted him somewhat from football prep

His first game will be an SEC road game against a solid SEC defense.

South Carolina had no defense but upgraded that in terms of coaching. Vandy has no offense and made no obvious upgrades

Vandy held a better offense (WKY) to 14 points in last years opener

I think SoCar should be favored but I think the number should be 2.5

That said I'm not even close to done with SEC PRs

Moves:

Indiana from 2 to 3
ND from pick to -1.5
FSU from 3 to 5.5 (they roll IMO)
Northwestern from 5.5 to 6.5
Clemson from 8.5 to 7.5 back to 8
LSU from 10 to 9 back to 10
WKU from 13.5 to 14.5
UTEP from 2.5 to 3.5
Miss St from 36.5 to 35
Alabama from 10.5 to 9
NIU from 12 to 10.5
Temple from 24.5 to 21.5 and still has some to move
South Car 5.5 to 4
Minnesota 4 to 6.5

Thanks for posting guys, gets the juices flowing a bit.

It gets earlier and earlier each year.

It gets earlier and earlier each year.

It does, but this is a really extreme jump. 4-5 weeks earlier than ever before. And it was only partially a business decision from what anyone can tell.

espn sucks, the coaches suck, the players suck, the fans suck.

The rich donors supporting all these bums are the only ones to respect.

Houston +8 also looks good. Though worried about them playing at NRG vs OU off big chest puffing bowl win vs FSU. Would prefer they get away from all the sunshine pumping for that one

Appt St +19.5 looks good too. Tenny should be really good but Appy is too, but Tenny has a huge TV game vs VT in Bristol the next week. Appy can't pass very well but may be able to run enough to slip under 20

Love the tread. Just don't think it's humanly possible to make an accurate assessment. To say a team will roll another when the game 4 months away is a little tough.

It's tough but injuries can work either direction. I am just not prepared. If I were, I think you could get huge advantages betting these if you are prepared with accurate numbers.

But it definitely is not easy.

Should be able to, lil Silky will be 3 & won't need me around all the time. Excited to get back, kid is good to go so looks good

yup, cc-shake

Your thoughts on Clemson/FSU at basically a PK
I wouldn't lay points in that 1. Watson being an upperclassmen helps negate the road deal, but if Francois is starting & has beaten UNC & went to Miami & won I couldn't fade FSU at home for basically a PO spot. I'd take whoever was getting points

Awesome. They grow up fast, they say. My nephew just graduated grad school at Utah (Go Utes) a couple days back. That means I am old.

Look forward to talking footy.

I think app st will show up on my pr as a play but it will depend on how I rate the vols rush defense for this year. They were pretty decent vs the run second half of last year and if app st cannot run they won't be able to score with them. School does get up and play hard when they step up in class though. Good little team. Vols are gonna score on most mediocre teams. Best team since Fulmer I think. Whether that amounts to a big time bowl in that conference or not is something else.

WTF business is ripe for the pickin
Cleveland bro, that's the big roll out. Everything has fallen into place. Bigot burger will sell. Thinking pump & dump. After the convention pivot to some mental health clinics for the folks that will inevitably lose their mind at whoever wins. Cash some Gov healthcare checks just for pointing folks in the direction of actual clinicians & collect the windfall. Virtually zero overhead, can essentially create an app & collect

I have had to do a bunch of dollar cost averaging lately as my stocks dipped or I would invest.

Though Trans fat has taken on a new meaning so you might not want to cook it in that ...

You nailed it, if Tenny brings the 2nd half run D they can cover, cuz they will score. They got the athletes, just think Tenny may be better built in the 2ndary than they are upfront to start. Need more info

No, it's got staying power

Ya I need more info too.

Pace should be about average for that game. The other issue I see for App St is just that I think they will be behind and I am wondering if it is the type of thing that could snowball on them if they get away from the one thing they do well. For them to remain competitive in the game they either need to find that early score or not stray from their running game when down 14 or more. If they cannot run the ball they will get destroyed.

Oh I do like Chic Fil A on principle and taste.

You can sell Chicken breasts at bigot burger as long as the chicken identifies as ground beef.

sounds exactly like the Arky St game lol.

these kids hung tough with an amazing Clemson last year, granted it was early Clemson but this will be early Tenny. Just thinking if Tenny doesn't get blowout early they can't afford to try style points later with the big VT game right after. VT GETS a Liberty scrimmage for Fuente's offense to tune up while Tenny may be playing a top 8 non power conference team and riding larger expectations.

Again more information needed but at present under 20pts feels better than Tenny going big dick

cant do it cut a deal with Chik Fil A, they thought about that too

Was coerced though, stuck in a room with Palin, Bachmann, McCain, Kasich, Boehner, Huckabee, Herman Cain & Ben Carson. Literally did all I could to just get out

App St didn't hang tough with Clemson. I mean sure they hung tough for a quarter but it was 31-0 at the half. App St had 98 yards in the 1H. Clemson had 290 yards in the 1H.

The problem with App is they don't run any kind of system that gives them an upper hand. They run an offense similar to Clemson/Tenny but have far inferior athletes

Hung tough is probably the wrong characterization, but 2 back to back INTs, 1 a pick 6 kinda changed things. They would still have gotten throttled, but I don't think Tenny is as good as Clem was on either side of the ball last year either. I guess it's relative, I thought Clemson was an amazing team last year and while game was never in doubt I never felt Appy was anywhere other than where they should have been. Hope that makes sense. I have a ton of respect for the 15 Clemson team & seeing those 2 *s vs them I came away impressed, and made money backing Appy a couple times after
