Ended up playing the A's +111. Like Parker a lot in this spot. Nathan was taxed yesterday eventhough it wasn't a save situation, throwing 27 pitches. This is the third time that the A's have seen Darvish this year and they've beaten him twice already. A's lineup has hit over .300 against Darvish, while the Rangers are only hitting .226 against Parker (and Andrus his hitting .333 and isn't playing today). Melvin really wants this series even though they have Houston and Minny up next and with Crisp looking ok after fouling the ball off his leg, I think he will get on base and make things happen today.

Maybe add another later, but that's it for now.

Adding the STL +107. Shelby Miller is a guy I've been backing for a bit now and he's been ok. Arroyo with much better day splits than night and after last night's 1-0 loss, I expect the Cards to come out swinging against a guy who they've beaten 5 straight starts and 6 of his last 8. Holiday owns Arroyo and I can't see the Cards being shut down again. Good spot for the Cards to get one on the road and get back to their winning ways.

OAK u7 Reasoning:
-Ron Kulpa loves to call strikes, get-away day usually thins lineups and I had this one circled for an under even before i got an extra 1/2 run from what i expected. Made this one 6.5u20 so this was a definite play off of variation even if I didn't think either Yu or Parker could go out there and toss a gem (or both). Love the Oakland bullpen and Texas has a good one too. Best under park in the AL thanks to all the foul territory, but I expect Yu to make a statement today for his teammates.

Have added a few for tonight (feel like I'm seeing it pretty well right now):

Seattle +155 and 1st 5 +150 - I like this kid, a lot! This number is too high for the phenom. KC is good and at home, but with Guthrie going against the gas can Saunders tomorrow, if the M's are going to get one in this series, this will be it. Santana has dropped 3 of his last 4 starts and while they are in the playoff hunt (barely), this could be a bit of flat spot for the Royals, especially with the huge series with the Tigers coming up Friday.

TB/LAA over 7-1/2 - check out the Rays numbers against Weaver! .322 BA and .907 OPS. I think the Rays offensive slump ended last night with the 7 spot and they are a streaky team - Think they get to Weaver for a few and Hell Boy can and does give up runs every time out. Don't think getting to 8 is asking too much, especially with the heat down in LA tonight. Also, Angels BP is awful and they give up runs in their sleep, so with temps in the high nineties, I'm not sure how long the starters are going to last.

Pirates -1/2 1st 5 - 110 - couldn't quite figure out how to play this. Contemplated Pitt -1 at -124 (which I may still add), but I like Liriano; Peralta has pitched well in spots, but just gets no run support (and I don't think the Brewers are going to score a ton off of Liriano). The Bucs are playing very well right now and get an off day tomorrow prior to their huge matchup with the Cardinals on Friday, so I expect total focus on getting this one.

Boston/Detroit over 9-1/2 -105 - neither team has hit for shit in the first two of this series and both teams are among the top hitting teams in baseball. You don't keep these guys down for too long and what do these hitters need? Cumdumpster and Porcini to toe. Both very hittable and both sets of hitters have very good numbers versus these guys. I think no Miggy has given us a little extra value in reduced vig for the over. Dempster much worse on 4-days rest (which he is on). Also, perfect night for baseball in Boston with a slight breeze blowing out to right.

Yeah. Take out the Pirates, who have just had the Cards' number this year (and especially Shelby Miller's), he hasn't given up more than 3 runs since June 28th. Again, take out the 2 games vs the Bucs and the Cards have supported him with 54 runs in his late 8 toes (6.75 runs of support in those). Just a good spot for the Cards to get some - may not be a bad over play either, but not going that way with it.
