Cleveland day games go under pretty often i believe, but with Westbrook off the DL, not sure. Floyd is also shakier on the road and the Cleveland bats scored north of 5 runs today. Both capable pitchers, but unders are scary these days.

Gabbard vs Garza seems like a run fest at first glance. After the beat down that the rays received, im sure they will concentrate on defense. Garza, as his numbers do not reflect is a very capable pitcher.. i hate chalk, but i might lay it.

here are my leans:

NYM-FLA OVER 9: Perez vs. Olsen
WAS-SD UNDER 7.5: Perez vs. Estes
CHW-CLE Under 8.5: Floyd vs. Westbrook
MIN-KC Under 8: Hernandez vs. Greinke

leans after investigating umps:
NYM-FLA O: Drake-- Under guy big time
WAS-SD U: Iassogna-- Under sorta
CHW-CLE U: O'Nora-- Under big time
MIN-KC U: Cederstrom-- Under guy

here are two plays for me:
CHW-CLE & MIN-KC

good luck gents and may your stalking go well

wow i'm glad to see that Westbrook is coming off the DL. That'll be a no-play for me.

thank you much

Thinking Under @ TB.

First Texas does hit somewhat less in day games although alot ofthat was much earliert in the year , However Garza has been real solid since returning fromn the DL and in 3 starts since at home the only time he was scored on is real early in the Boston game I believe. Also end of a road trip for Rexas with a day off so maybe some rested bats as well. For TB I think they struggle some vs LHP when they have a top of the order that has 3 LHs in the first four batters. Gabbard struggling some of late had been very solid on the road until CLE . Think we have Meriweather behind the dish as well. Basically hoping for 9.5 or better. Especially since Chuck is 18-6 under in 07 and 06 with 9.5 totals and higher.. plus 0-1 this year and 10-4 under when it is 9.5 total.......

GL all and good nite !

Texas today faced Sonnastine who had a week off and quickly got to him for 7 runs in the 1st 2 innings then did nothing until a 5 run 8th highlighted by a GS by Hamilton. Which also happened to be vs Howell a guy notorious for slipping the second time around the order which is why he got bumped to th e pen.

TB went over at home in its 1st home game of the year which happened to be vs a LHP in Bedard and has since produced 7 unders .....Texas pitching slightily better in day games.....

what do u guys think about under 9 on Det/Anaheim? the bats have been quiet in this series and you have 2 decent pitchers throwing.

sn, u dont think the weather and precipitation is going to carry the ball out the park? There a lot of sluggers on the tejas... under just seems scary. might hit it tomorrow if i can get 9.5 and a good ump though..

Milwaukee caught my eye. Winning straight up as a dog today and then opening as a slight fave tomorrow. We all know Atlanta is bad on the road and whatnot. Suppan is 0-4 against Atlanta with an ERA over 7 in his past starts against them, but yet still opens as the slight fave. Reyes started off good but in my opinion was the receiver of some good breaks here and there and a good defense backing him up. His WHIP has been high all year, well over the 1.5 mark and it's been catching up with him in his recent starts. Not to mention as we all know this Milwaukee lineup tends to fare better against LHPs which Reyes is.

Regarding my White Sox, I'm a little nervous with Floyd tomorrow. Westbrook is coming off the DL and honestly doesn't have that great career numbers against them and yet he opened as a fave? And from what I've seen so far the line has moved up a bit.

Day game so definitely need to wait and see what lineup Ozzie puts out there. Cleveland's offense came to life tonight. The White Sox offense ALMOST got them back into the game several times. When it was still 5-2 we kept leaving runners stranded, not getting that one clutch hit to drive them in.

Usually I would say hey, the White Sox bats got some hits for the 2nd game in a row and tonight it was against Laffey a guy that we hadn't hit too well in the past, and now tomorrow we're facing Westbrook coming off the DL who's a guy we've beaten more than lost to...let's roll it. BUT that line opened at that for a reason I suspect. I think we could see Cleveland slowly rise overnight and then drop down as gametime approaches. Will wait and see til morning what the lineups look like.

St. Louis looks in a possible nice bounceback spot. Wainwright has good numbers against Houston and I believe this is Wandy's first game back. Anyone with info on him? How did he look in his rehab?

Not going to have the luxury of waiting unfortunately. Have 1 doctors appointment at 8 in the morning and another at 10.15 in the morning. Looking at the 2007 and 2006, O'Nora is not an under ump. He is very strongly against home chalk and especially low level home chalk. Cleveland game is supposed to be in the 50's and clear. Bet under 8.5 and WS just for half a unit each. This is third game of series and the first 2 both night games went over. Now we have a day game. Cleveland has tended to do well at home Wednesdays but not with Westbrook. WS 7-16 under after a loss and Cleveland 6-17 under after a win. Now both shift to the day under variation.
Will take my chances cheap as my morning time is booked. In the past Westbrook was not good after 6 plus days off. With a little luck will have a few minutes to peek tomorrow and hopefully increase these bets.

No, just minor bs related to a car accident. Made the mistake of stopping behind 3 other cars at a turnoff while the women behind me was communing with nature and ran into me at 45 miles an hour. Will be good for my bank account but not very much fun.
Thinking about the other morning game. 9.5 total? Tampa facing Cabrera Ponson and Padilla scored 6, 7,5 runs. Gabbard's current form qualifies him for a leper colony. In his last 8 road games the over is 7-1 and Texas is 6-2. His day era and Garza's are inflated but the real numbers are high 4's. All Garza's good home starts were at night. Texas is at 27-27. They have not been a good day team but think they show up. Their pen is in fine shape. Thinking about small over first half and game. See what the price does. Tampa has been facing for a long time primarily light hitting teams at home. That is not a reasonable picture of Texas. Last 3 lefties Texas faced were Kaz, Lee and Sabathia. Not seeing Garza really anywhere close to that group. I think they hit him and have a reasonable chance of stealing this game. Last 20 Tampa 14-6. Last 20 Texas 13-7 and as I said they have won 6 of Gabbard's last 8 road games.

I see what you mean. Take a look at the one in Yankees- Baltimore. Pettite has not had an easy time with that ump.

Boston as a dog?
I realize they are on the road and face one of Seattle's top two in the rotation, but Boston saw plenty of Bedard when he was with the Orioles. No reason Boston should lose two consecutive games against an inferior Mariners team.

sn, u dont think the weather and precipitation is going to carry the ball out the park? There a lot of sluggers on the tejas... under just seems scary. might hit it tomorrow if i can get 9.5 and a good ump though..

Played Under 9.5 Texas and over 8.5 Wsox..Fir the under just relying on the fact TB has gone 7-1 UNDER at home vs LHP scoring very little and Texas has slipped offensively in day games as some of the hitters have struggled sincethe start of 2007 in the daytime...but clearly not an easy play to make....

SN: here are my plays for today. lets really kill it today. i have alot tonight, i feel like getting aggressive.

cincy (-134)
ov 9 cin/pit
fla (+132)
un 9 nym/fla
dodgy (+150)
un 8 lad/chi
milky (-126)
KC (-147)

We will see what happens, there are too many plays to write them up but I assure you I did plenty of research.

Good Luck Jimbo. Starting to dig in now myself...

No such thing as to many plays only to many marginal plays.

stepped away from posting for awhile.. no good reason..

On the brewers heavy tonight, 6 units @125..

Lean the reds but decided not to play.

Have looked at less than a third of the games.Hopefully I will catch up. Put in 2 bets. Ridding the square play with the Reds.I know his record on 3 days but that still scares me a lot but its a solid days of the week play and fits the parameters of revenge and logic going with a team on the upswing that has won 8 straight at home and is 13-7 last 20 at home vs a team that is 7-13 last 20 on the road. Also rode the angle I have mentioned before with Halliday. He simply has not lost on the road first 5 this year. I doubt Mike and Marco will be swinging against him today so maybe it continues. Days of the week favors the Yankees but that seems slim to me and it favors the Royals and Arizona. Might do some thing with Arizona late. Mostly I am seeing a lot of contradictions. See Many angles against Zambrano but back on Earth he is still a great pitcher going for a solid home team and Lowe does not impress. Will watch with interest. Thats it right now.

Yankees and Under 9 ??

Not all that crazy about the price for NYY . In some ways while Guthrie is better then the LHSP that opposed NYY earlier , the fact remains LHSP have an edge vs NYY on the road as they fall to 3-6 this year and 8-24 since the start of 2007. So in that sense he is probably equal in terms of value . Pettitte is much better then theYanks 1st two starters even with Rasner doing an excellent job. LaTroy Hawkins has been gasoline this seris.

So why NYY ? I think Balt has limited offense vs LHSP. They are 3-2 at home vs LHSP .

Those are Pettitte's L5 vs Baltimore since returning to NYY and remember Joba is scheduled for today so he might get 3 innings to finish the game. Bunch of 7 inn starts and allowed 6 runs in those 28 innings. Pettitte's last 2 starts he showing some good stuff as evidenced by the 16 K's .

Yanks in Game 3;s are 10-3 (7-2 after loss) and Balt is 3-10 in Game 3s (3-3 after a win).

Guthrie has been solid of late and at home. Plus he had two real good starts vs NYY last year. The difference is NYYs LHB are seemingly starting to heat up. Pettitte is 8-2 Under and 5-0 under away while Guthries is 7-4 under....Orioles pen should be in decent shape as Bradford and Walker were rested yesterday....

Last year early on Guthrie defeated Pettitte 4-2 with a 9 total. So while I was hoping for 9.5 the 9 makes sense and the humidity is nowehere near what it was yesterday on the East Coast IMO....

Both Guthrie and pettitte have pitched better so far on 5 days rest which holds true for Guthrie longterm more so then Pettitte. Guthrie does struggle some vs LHB and at Camden his road BAA is near 210 past 2 seasons but closer to 275 at home. The key will be Balts RHB it seems Pettitte in 2008 vs LHB 164 vs 345 vs RHB.

What little BALT did vs Pettitte came in that bad start in Sept 2007.

26 -88 but Roberts 3-17 , Payton 2-13 , Huff 1-7 while Hernande 6-11 hr 6 rbi most of came in that Sept start and Markakis 6-18 along with Millar 5-14 account for much ofthe positives vs him. Yanks were 17-58 off Guthrie last year...once concern for the UNDER is that Moeller is catching and the Yanks seems to score more when he plays.Though 2 runs or less for the opponent in 5 of his last 10 starts the downer is the other games so at least 6 runs...all or nothing when Moeeler calls agame.

Yanks on WED 39-17 since 06 vs 24-35 for Balt. Yanks 27-8 (19-15-1 under)since 2006 when allowing 10 or more runs just 1-2 so far though.

Yankees are 40-14 in their last 54 games after losing the first 2 games of a series.
Yankees are 38-14 in their last 52 during game 3 of a series.
Yankees are 23-7 in Pettittes last 30 Wednesday starts.
Yankees are 9-3 in Pettittes last 12 road starts.
Yankees are 9-3 in Pettittes last 12 road starts with the total set at 9.0-10.5.
Yankees are 20-8 in Pettittes last 28 starts as a road favorite.
Orioles are 6-18 in their last 24 games vs. a left-handed starter.
Orioles are 3-11 in their last 14 Wednesday games.
Orioles are 3-11 in their last 14 home games vs. a left-handed starter( but 3-2 this year!)
Orioles are 3-10 in Guthries last 13 starts during game 3 of a series.
Orioles are 4-14 in Guthries last 18 starts when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Orioles are 3-11 in Guthries last 14 starts as an underdog.
Orioles are 1-7 in Guthries last 8 starts with 4 days of rest.
Orioles are 1-10 in Guthries last 11 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance.
So playing NY more based on situations and trends then price . Might add the under or parlay it with NYY...

Same here Tuck playing catch up. Agree with most of your stuff . BOL

and Tuck gonna look at Milw...

I f I can develop my thoughts I will before the games go OTB...:shake:

Biggest problem with COL in Philly so far has been there SP. game 1 quick 3 -0 lead evaporates and game 2 down 7-0 after 2 innings....so if COL can get some quality innings from Reynolds could be a chance they hang around.

Might play COL 1st to score...or 1st inning score YES prop...not sure though tiny leans on that stuff...

Thinking Mets ...

Maybe an over @ Cincy ...

Early so far went

Yanks but passed on the under 9.

Tried COL and Under 5.5 1st 5 inn. Reynolds has been real good for 5 innings and encountered trouble in the6th so far . So took a shot. COL I think to scratch out a win more then anything and with Eaton throwing fairly well but being a hardluck guy seems like a possibility here.

Also went Mets and Over 9 despite Drake. Olsen 7-1 over vs mets and Perz 7-3 over vs FLA. Regardless of how well they pitch runs seem to score when they play eachother. Mets 12-5 vs LHP as well doesnt hurt..tons of MOB recently a few clutch hits could make 7 or 8 easy for them despite facing a solid SP like Olsen .....

8 Pm-

Suppan has been excellent at home with 7 innings and 1 run 3 times. His ATL stats are skewed cause he has 4 starts of which he split solid and terrible. Solid were 6 inn and 3 runs then 7 inn 2 runs the other 2 were slow pitch softball....Reyes seems to have this blister issue and not sure what to make of it. Anyway young SP near even money is a basic fade for me. Milw stole one yesterday and lets hope that the whatever can go wrong will go wrong ride for ATL o the road continues......closing games for Milw scary might play some 1st 5 inn as well....

Grienke has won all 4 home starts with sub 2 ERA . This is the 3rd time KC sees hernandez this year . In recent years Hernandezs medicore numbers are worse when he gets days rest. To his credit he won both starts on 6 days this year with one okay outing and a great outing vs KC shutting them down. Minny has not faced Grienke since April 2007 and hopefully that is a plus . Also Grienke has beaten some good teams at home NYY , DET , LAA and Tor if I recall correctly....thinking 1st 5 ml and game ML not sure which one I go heavier on.....

With CHI like Zambrano as well. LAD does not hit much on the road vs RHP and I think there winning percentage was below 40% vs RH away. Facing one of the premier RHP's......probably parlay these three.....

Playing Arizona on various rl's. When you look at Compos while he has favored the road teams it has been very reasonable and what should happen so not too concerned about him as umpire. Have examined the Arizona line up and it has only 1 stiff Upton. This is actually a line up that can hit and score. Placing Brynes on the dl was very constructive. See Arizona with a better line up, much better pen and a reasonable starting pitcher with days of the week backing. Lets see what happens.

GL Gee...

Damn Tuck against you here. I think we should see some offense so equally vested in the over 9 and SFG. Just like how the SF lineup is batting. They matchup well vs LHP now that Molina is starting to hit . However as you point out probably edge goes to ZOna pen although the 175 DBacks hitting vs RH might be helpful for SFG pitchers. Zona just isnt hitting but does have some nice success against Sanchez 4/8 , 6/8 ,2/2,2/5 in the middle with 3 Hrs.....

So the Campos trend but I think what I am relying on is Sanchez velocity vs Davis craftiness and known issues with WALKS. If Campos zone is really tight it hurts the craft arm rather then the power arm. Sanchez not a great track record away as he also has pitch count issues.

Hoping worst case these lineups hit as they both matchup well . At least if that happens I think SFG can outhit ARI just a matter if they actually do it for 9 innings....

BOL Tuck ...

Also factored in that Unit is throwing well now and goes tmrw vs Zito who I still dont trust but is getting better. Looking for Under there but maybe Zona as well if they lose and parlay it.....GL

Just something to remember. Davis is actually 16-4 last 20 at home. The team is used to winning at home with him and with the Webb vaporization, they are looking for someone to win with. My biggest issue was if i could try the rl or play ml. When I saw they were actually playing a real line up I opted for the rl.

Seattle has held their opponent to less than 4 runs in consecutive games just once over their last 32 games - Boston of course totaled 3 runs yesterday.

Fading SD on the factthey are 2-11 vs LHSP so far by my count and 0-4 at home. Scoring 1,1,2 and 6 in the 1st one vs a LH Wandy Rodriguez which was more off the Houston pen. Well 7 hit sand 3 runs off the pen in 4 inn compared to 8 hits and 4 runs off Wandy...

2 vs redman , 1 Francis , 1 vs Unit....

Estes has been solid and SD pen is better . I just think Odali scould be real solid here and the bottom of Wash lineup Flores , Pena and Dukes has alot of potential especially compared to SD to which SD middle of the order has a huge edge vs Wash's middle...

Rolling the dice.....

Good stuff . I will keep it in mind for the future. Guess I felt Davis was a crap shot here even with a good 1st outing back from cancer the early run support I thought helped him. Basically I guess my belief is Zona is regressing or slumping and SFG is playing better then there results of late...

As long as I get a split I can live with being wrong ...:shake:GL

If anyone is of interest rolling with Boston Celtics 2nd H . I have them -5.5 already and over 90 total points and adding it to it. Huge momentum shift from the 1st few minutes of the 2nd Q where Det took a decent lead and the half where Boston leads by 6......think Boston wins the 2nd H going away...

i cannot even comprehend how much money i would have won if kevin gregg closed that game. 3 outs away. with how bad my luck is i have to think someone just prays all day for my misery.

Out west rolled with Det again especially with Vlad out and took a chance on that over with Tigers facing a LHP even one as solid as Saunders. The Nats as I said 1st 5 and game. Then the favs out in Oak and Seattle. Look at Boston road record and I have to take a premier SP off a bad start now at home. Oak cause Harden is dealing and Jays havent hit .....

Sorry about that Jimbo but I cant be to sorry since I rolled with mets...GL

gregg has been solid this year and the first time i bet on the marlins all year he fuckin blows it

under 9.5 fla/nym was my last leg of a 40:1 parlay. shoot me in the head now

Wow...real sorry to hear that even though I was opposite it in that game...I needs Chi Cubs ML for my parlays...well thats the main one that is trailing ....:shake::cheers:

no one is happier then me for Jason Giambi . Few guys are better then him when he is in a groove....very few.....
