Wednesday 5/1 MLB Discussion

Mets offense is really cold.. Aren't they batting like .160 last 7 games?

Brewers -1 +108

Milw owns the Pirates. Gomez is not a good starter, theres a reason he was in the BP.
He made 38 starts for the Indians over the last three seasons, posting a 5.32 ERA while
averaging 5 1/3 innings per outing. Career WHIP 1.50, opp ba. 289.
Burgos has two quality starts in a row and is a good young pitcher.

Brewers bats are hot. I'll give a run and take the juice.

Definitely a dangerous game for any team when you lose consecutive heartbreakers -- valiaka dou led in 2 as I tyoed this. This game I probably done already

Going w :

Over @ STLouis 4 u
over @ Detroit 5u
Twins TT over 3u
Twins F5 2u.
Twins +1.5 4u and ml 2u

Just curious to see ho Sanchez responds to last outing ...great stuff but he was throwing a ton of pitches all ganes and w 17k went 122..diamond is pitch to contact and tiger swinging well lately

Harang is god awful. He was shit in spring, shit late last year. 11 ERA this season.

Seattle cant hit anybody but they are even worse vs Lefties.. chen is pretty badass..

One of the largest wagers of season for me.

Makes sense to me...lean under as well...only thing is balty hasn't seen much of Harang...but Chen is a pimp and I and do think their bats will gets enough for the W.

Really hate this card. Maybe lean under @ toronto. Only LH that boston has produced against are anderson and bedard. Buerhle solid in the past at his home parks v boston. Kinda lean Jays because of the question of how much will boston score but w bucholz capable of winning 2-1

-The Nats are reeling, but it is a new month and a part of me thinks they just want a fresh start. We all know they're better than the 13-14 record, but I'm not sure everyone knows that Zimmerman is the best starter they have. His turn in the rotation is a stop-gap to a losing skid against the division-leader and I think the Nationals are looking at this game as one that's as close to a must-win as you can on May 1. I expect the good bullpen to be used if necessary, plus all hands on deck in the lineup as the Nats really can't afford Jayson Werth missing a game against a LHP. So best pitcher in a game way more important to one team than another and I'm getting 13 cents? Sign me up.

For whatever its worth, I read that the Nats had a closed door meeting after last nights game.

Arizona and Dodgers are on my watch list. Still dont trust in Lincecum away and McCarthy made some progress last start imo v colorado---definitely liked the 0bb to 7k ...Beckett still a question mark but Nicasio not giving many innings and getting great run support-- which means his small level of success is smoke n mirrors imo

On zona...lean rocks & over and braves. Agree with sp's analysis in col/lad...but I'd wanna back the better pen and bats. BOL brother.

And the As have a leadoff double with no run. This will be awful if they don't get to at least 4 runs, theyve tee'd off on Wilson.

OVER is 8-1 L9 Dodgers home games:

Thanks Hammer. I definitely like Zona more of the two, not crazy about Rocks pen to be honest. Kemp md Either hit him real well....gooD Luck

Jays ml 5u and +1.5 4u
Rays ml 4 u, -1.5 1u

Arizona ml, F5, and -1.5 sizes undecided still but fairly big

Lean indians, under cubs, under jays , dodgers, mariners

Playing the dodgers too. Hopefully Either and Kemp continue to rake v Nicasio. Will take a stab w. Seattle too. Like the Mari ers bats slowly coming alive and hve been decent vs LH lately. Morse turning it aroun last few days and Montero decent last 8 games or so..Chen is solid and consistent but like fading him on normal rest and he is a contact guy, which makes -140 on the road to high imo. Harang has stunk but tigers, @ texas and angels might just be the 3 best lineups

Leaned rocks...think the OVER might be the way to go now. Great thoughts. Thx and good luck.

Thanks bro.

Great call guys on Washington ....congrats.

Played
Arizona ml 12u and -1.5 2u. F5 3u. Reverse w under 1u

Dodgers 3u and -1.5 3u.

Seattle F5 2u
Seattle ml 5u, +1.5 4u and ARL 1u

Taking a big stab I guess w Seattle ...guess we'll see. Always key how Chen navigates the 5th and 6th inn

GW: Good call on Nats, we've had that series pegged so far...Atl yesterday and Nats today. Good Job.
