Wednesday 10-run innings are possible Discussion

Houston has the second heaviest Under record in the league (STL #1), but the one spot they've favoured Overs in this season has been coming off a decent offensive outing...

Off a 7+ run effort: 12-9 to Over (8.62 rpg), averaging 5.00 team rpg.

Off a 0-6 run effort: 57-43-5 to Under (7.78 rpg), averaging 4.19 team rpg.

Paying out on Overs 57.1% of the time following a 7+ run effort, but only 40.9% of the time otherwise.

What are your thoughts? I would say Houston at first glance. Pineda right off an injury while McHugh has been hot lately. He's just been the victim of poor run support in recent games but Houston really got their bats going yesterday. Can they keep it up though? The total is a total tossup for me. I like the under because of previous history (12-3 L15 meetings) and McHugh, but Pineda might ruin it. Oh well I guess I just talked myself into betting the Astros, lol.
 
Anyone liking the M's over? Felix, with this ump, has a 4.97 ERA and a 1.66 WHIP, 1-2...this year he is 1-1 in 3 games played with a 3.32 and 1.47 WHIP...he's been running pretty crap the last 28 days....BP for M's stinks as does the Athletics, both teams seem to be hitting...Think Bassitt is pretty poop as well. Has had one start at Safeco and he last 1.1 innings...I think I just talked myself into an over.
 
McHugh has had one start against the yanks and he pretty much shut them down.; however with Holbrook he is 1-2 with a 5.32 ERA and 1.41 WHIP...looks like he prefers the night though compared to the day. Pineda off DL but had a good outing against Houston this year.
 
another over i'm looking at is the red sox game;

Sale with Miller behind the dish has a 10.50 ERA and that's from this year and Porcello is back for his first start in a month almost.
 
Is King Felix tiring as he ages? I looked back at the 2012-2014 seasons - specifically his first 10 and last 10 starts of each season - and during that period he had 14 wins in his first 10 starts (total of 30 games) but only 7 wins in his last 10 starts (30 games). He has lost back to back starts entering today's game for the first time this season.

Bassitt a bit underrated. He has 7 straight quality starts and hasn't given up more than 3er in any of his starts this season
 
Anyone have days of the week info in SD/Wash game? I think I remember Wed as being bad for SD. Wash lineup looks a lot better lately and Rendon is finally starting to hit. May look to back Wash tonight and in immediate future. Could see a surge here.

that's fair, but looking at his fip and xfip tells me something is up.
 
Just started looking but Pineda lifetime on 6+ is 1-8 4.36 ERA based on 84.2 innings
 
PRICE is 1-6 (-9.1 Units) against the money line when playing on Wednesday over the last 2 seasons. (Team's Record)
 
This is something of a problem because both pitchers in the Texas game have rotten history with the other team
Toronto is 11-8 on Wednesday while Texas is 8-11
 
PRICE is 2-7 when starting against TEXAS with an ERA of 5.19 and a WHIP of 1.372.
LEWIS is 3-5 when starting against TORONTO with an ERA of 7.12 and a WHIP of 1.674.
 
Cleveland is 13-6
KC is only 9-10 but previous 2 years was great on Wednesday
Cardinals are 13-6 but Lackey is not playable on the road
 
Colin 5.32 ERA with Holbrook based on 22 innings
Holbrook 15-5 for the home team
No history with Pineda and Holbrook

Yup I agree with tuck. It's hard to do but posting the information is what everyone should do. The plays are meaningless without back up
 
Colon usually melts with a bad ump but Dreckman is 11 innings 5.73 ERA. Somewhat borderline for a play but possible.
Will be changing casino's so no posts for a while.

but not everyone is held accountable...I don't think it's entirely necessary, not that i'm anyone to follow, but there are those who just post plays in discussions or their own thread and if you see them on it and you like it, it could push you over the top...

good example, SC and hockey...I feel 10 times more confident in my play if I see that SC has the same thinking, doesn't always put up thoughts though.
 
My thoughts include Yankees killing the ball off a big loss , pitching wise Houston has the edge but would b surprised if Houston s bats stay this hot...Houstons pitcher never gets any run support in his last three outings, food for thought

I expect a bounce back in some form, but these teams are trending in different directions right now and not sure if I want to risk it with a guy coming off the DL for them either.. pretty interesting/tough game may just lay off
 
Agree, soo king Felix at home , needs a win and what better way to play the athletics? Whom been trending upwards as of lately

Felix last start at home was a disaster, and his numbers with this ump suck but I wouldn't be surprised if we see that trend C put up about Bassitt crack today (so i hope)...i already played the over in this game

I understand what you're saying (to an extent) but, at the same time, not sure how posting information out of context helps either.
 
COL are 3-14 in their last 17 Wed. games, but Shelby Miller hasn't won in 17 consecutive starts. Thinking about Atl F5
