Not touching anything tonight (probably), but made the discussion thread.

Easiest time of year is tonight in my opinion. Since Sunday, betting motivational angles and tanking is undefeated. Nets did not want to win last night and it said Knicks ML.

Nets still do not want to win tonight and want to be the 6 seed.

Celtics do not want to win tonight just like when they dogged at philly.

Jazz wanted to lose more than LA. They dogged it.

Craptors need the win. Bulls want to stay in the 4.

Wizards don't care about who they play. They should try vs tanking Celtics.

So Cavs Wiz easiest because they are playing tankers.

next easiest is playing teams with something to prove but not as easy.

raptors, thunder, rockets

wolves should want to give rick a nice W and jazz are tanking.

Blake Griffin and J.J. Redick will not travel to Portland for Wednesday's game against the Blazers.

Blazers coach Terry Stotts said that he may rest LaMarcus Aldridge and Mo Williams for Portland's season finale on Wednesday.

Paul George, David West, Lance Stephenson and C.J. Watson will all rest during Wednesday's season finale vs. the Magic.

Need more input. Likely first half over if Detroit has a line up

Harden and Parsons out for rox
deron Williams out for nets
iggy, lee and curry out for warriors..

Scott Foster in Memphis. What does the league want in the 1st round ? - a local derby, SA v Dallas or a slobber-knocker, SA v Grizz...

SA Memphis is a snooze fest. Memphis beat them a few years ago and ever since it's been a drubbing.

I do think the league will want sas Dallas but that would be less competitive than Memphis. Dallas could shock the world vs thunder!

Bulls want Indiana and will lose tonight to make it happen.

Bobcats will try to avoid playing Miami possibly.

Bobcats easy with a good old fashion tank by Chicago.

Wiz Celtics over. Celtics stopped defending the rim in an effort to lose.

Wolves vs tanking Jazz

Kings at home vs Suns who will play some terrible rookies

Pelicans if Tyreke plays. Becoming a superstar once again.

Spurs if the big 3 rest. I think without them they are 20 better than Lakers. Who don't need the win.

You seem to have a good feel right now, that's a good amount of winners you called out. I need a couple of teams to parlay with my Blazers pick, any suggestions?

Thanks Inspectah.

Posted my previous post, before I saw your suggestions for tonight. Like the Bobcats, as the market seems to agree. Not interested in laying 10 w/ Minny, and ML will be high, but may throw it in w/ OKC ML. C's over, makes sense, not trusting Sacto. No Cousins, Yag, or Thomas. Talk about a bench that eats shit!

i agree with your thoughts on wolves and kings. Gun to head those are my bets but I'd rather fade teams who are intentionally losing. Like Bulls maybe, Nets, and Celtics.

i really like Washington and Cleveland and Charlotte tonight. Nothing is easy I shouldn't have said that I should have said for me capping and finding a side is easier since I am less a numbers guy and more about incentive, etc.

the nets without d will and Livingston will have some truly bad PG play out there tonight.

Did you watch any of that philly celtics game? The celtics never defensed the paint once. They played Kelly O at center and it was like having a SF afraid to get hit. Sixers might have had 40 points in the 1h at the rim and on rebounds. Wiz plenty big inside and plenty quick at guard to continue that on.

Non playoff team wins

suns 47 no incentive to win/lose
wolves 40 no
nuggs 36 no
Pelicans 33 ? Probably try to win, not their pick anyway
knicks 32 Not there pick
pistons 29. Will lose
kings 28. ??
lakers 26 ??
celtics 25. Tanking IMO
jazz 24. Tanking IMO
magic 23. ??
76ers 18. No
bucks 15. No

key is those teams bottled up around 24-26 wins because if the top 3 fall in place then that point forward is automatically based on record. 4 pick much better than 7

Boston game is pretty odd. Reverse Line move on the total is big, 81% over bets, yet total dropping from 199 to 198, under 1000 plays, so not much to go on, but still. Going to let the market mature a bit.

Yeah, I watched the Sixers/C's game, and I made tonight's C's game 202, that's why I'm kind of surprised at the line move. The Cavs went from 4.5 to 7.5, I just don't like them as a team, but may put them in on the ML. I like Orlando, for the simple fact that this is nothing new to them. They have been bad all season, but decent at home, and are playing to get better, so every win counts.

Thoughts on Sixers +180?

Line movement is weird and the total is really off. Maybe wiz clamp down on D. Line even at 7.5 is very mindful of the wizards and drawing boston action.

i Bet on philly last game because of how bad the celtics effort was going to be...

i dont know how bad miami's will be...

Rajon Rondo, Jared Sullinger, Kris Humphries and Jerryd Bayless will not play against the Wizards on Wednesday.

Ian Mahinmi will rest on Wednesday night vs. the Magic.

Jameer Nelson (groin) will not play on Wednesday vs. the Pacers.

Chris Paul is not with the team for Wednesday's game vs. the Blazers.

J.J. Redick and Blake Griffin are also not with the team.

Jermaine O'Neal will rest on Wednesday.

Marreese Speights and Hilton Armstrong will man the frontcourt for the Warriors, whose frontcourt is extremely short-handed without O'Neal, David Lee (rest), Draymond Green (rest) and Andrew Bogut (ribs).

James Harden and Chandler Parsons will both be rested for the Rockets' season finale.

I have to imagine more than just these 2 will be out vs. the Pelicans if the line is +4.

Bulls want Indiana and will lose tonight to make it happen.[/B]

Bobcats will try to avoid playing Miami possibly.

Bobcats easy with a good old fashion tank by Chicago.

Wiz Celtics over. Celtics stopped defending the rim in an effort to lose.

Wolves vs tanking Jazz

Kings at home vs Suns who will play some terrible rookies

Pelicans if Tyreke plays. Becoming a superstar once again.

Spurs if the big 3 rest. I think without them they are 20 better than Lakers. Who don't need the win.

how? UR Bulls Vs Pacers comment. Help me out here.

howard, beverly should be out. cant think of anyone else, maybe Jones as he had that ankle issue last week.

If bulls lose they are 4 seed. Home court vs a wizards team that they will beat.

3 seed ends up playing Miami 2nd round. They do much better vs indiana

Bobcats receive the Pistons 2014 first-round pick. Top 8 protected in 2014 and top 1 in 2015, unprotected in 2016. ()

So much talk of Chicago tanking the game tonight. It's almost viral.

Do lean Cats though.

I will most likely not be on the cats tho. Bulls players on floor won't tank so it they play Noah I suspect they'll give it a go

Waiting on Cavs lineup..could be big on 1st half tt over
same with okc

Took cats/bulls under 1st half

Zach Randolph, Dirk Nowitzki Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

We know the 16 teams going to the playoffs dance, but the NBA is going down to the wire on the final night of the regular season to set the seedings and who will play whom. These seven games can all influence where teams land in the standings.

Here’s what to look for.

Chicago vs. Charlotte: Both teams need this win. For Charlotte, its only hope of getting out of the seven seed and avoiding Miami in the first round is to beat Chicago and hope for a Washington loss to Boston (that’s not likely). The Bulls could still climb to the three seed with a win and a Toronto loss to the Knicks.
Dallas vs. Memphis: It’s very simple, winner gets the seven seed and Oklahoma City in the first round, loser gets the eighth slot San Antonio to open the playoffs. Know that the Grizzlies are motivated here, the Spurs have had their number the past few seasons so the Grizzlies really want to avoid them in the first round.
Detroit vs. Oklahoma City: If the Thunder win this game they are the No. 2 seed in the West, however if they lose and the Clippers knock off Portland the Clippers climb past them into the No. 2 slot. OKC should be motivated here because the Clippers are the likely second round matchup and you want home court against them.
Washington vs. Boston: The Wizards could land anywhere from seeds 5-7 depending on this game and others. If Washington wins they cannot be lower than the six seed — and they want to win because if they fall to the seven seed they get steamrolled by Miami in the first round. If Washington loses and Charlotte beats Chicago, then Charlotte is the six seed and Washington the seven. If Washington wins and Brooklyn falls to Cleveland than the Wizards are the five seed and the Nets fall to six.
Brooklyn vs. Cleveland: If the Nets win they are the five seed (likely facing Chicago). A Nets loss combined with a Wizards win drops the Nets to the six seed (likely facing the Raptors, providing they win over the Knicks). There is a school of thought the Nets would like to line themselves up with the Raptors in the first round, but hitting that moving target will not be easy (plus the Raptors are no pushovers).
Toronto vs. New York: If the Raptors win they are the three seed, it’s that simple. A Raptors loss combined with a Bulls win over the Bobcats drops the Wizards to the four seed. Either way the Raptors are in, which is a nice reward for long suffering Bucks fans.
Los Angeles Clippers at Portland: The Clippers can move up to the two seed with a win combined with a Thunder loss to the Pistons. Not likely, but the Clippers would love for it to happen so they have home court in a potential second round matchup with the Thunder.

Knicks ML has value again. Toronto with no motivation in my opinion.

Did not play Cats.... Bulls play w/ more pride than any team in league.

Wizards played, and Cavs played.

  • Needing a win tonight over the Pistons (or a Clipper loss at Portland) to secure the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference playoffs Thunder head coach Scott Brooks will put his regular starting lineup on the floor. “We’re just focusing on winning the game,” he told reporters just before tipoff. “Everyone’s healthy now so everyone’s available.” OKC is 19-4 this season with their normal starting lineup on the court.
  • Detroit interim head coach John Loyer indicated he may be sitting some of his regular guys. When asked who was unavailable he said, “it’s quite a list, we’ll let you know a little later.”

^
OKC scores 64 in the fist half takes a 23 point lead and rests his players in the second half...

Very large over 57 okc 1st half tt....

  • Nets coach Jason Kidd is giving his entire starting lineup the night off and will only have eight players in uniform. Sitting out are small forward Paul Pierce (rest), center Kevin Garnett (rest), point guard Deron Williams (right knee tendinitis), shooting guard Joe Johnson (right calf soreness), point guard Shaun Livingston (right big toe sprain), small forward Mirza Teletovic (personal), and centerBrook Lopez (right foot fracture). Brooklyn is currently fifth in the Eastern Conference, but could slip to sixth with a loss, coupled with a Washington win. “I have no concern whether we’re the fifth or sixth seed,” Kidd said.
  • Nets center Jason Collins — the NBA’s first openly Yag player — will make his first start of the season. The remainder of Brooklyn’s lineup is power forward Andray Blatche, small forward Marcus Thornton, shooting guard Marquis Teague, and rookie point guard Jorge Gutierrez. The only available players off the bench are power forward Andrei Kirilenko, center Mason Plumlee, and small forwardAlan Anderson (abdominal strain).
  • The Cavaliers’ starters are All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving, shooting guard Dion Waiters, small forward Alonzo Gee, power forward Tristan Thompson, and center Spencer Hawes. Cleveland will not participate in the playoffs for the fourth straight season, but is guaranteed its best record since 2009-2010 — LeBron James’ final season with the franchise.

Scott Foster has that Maverick look about him.

Line moved to 2.5 just before tip as well.
