Leaning Wizards -3 1/2. At home after two straight tough losses against, and facing a creampuff team? Yes please. They were clicking well in the 1st half against GS, but lost control in the 2H. Don't think they let that happen again, especially against the damn Pacers. I'll look deeper, but on the first look it sure does stand out.

Also leaning Atlanta and Cleveland.

Might not matter against the Knicks, but you've been warned...

Clippers coach Doc Rivers has yet to sit players this season to give them rest, like so many other head coaches around the league have done in what has become a new-wave strategy.

Rivers spoke openly about that prior to Sunday’s victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Starting point guard Chris Paul has never played in all 82 games of a season, and he has played in all 71 so far. Starting small forward Matt Barnes is 35. Blake Griffin is five games into a return after being out five weeks with an elbow injury.

All could be candidates to take off a game or two in this final stretch of 11 regular-season games, which begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday at New York. And if Rivers believes resting them or anyone else will help the team in the playoffs, “then we’re going to rest.”

http://www.dailynews.com/sports/201...oc-rivers-might-rest-players-down-the-stretch

Started looking at the Days. Turns out that the
Hornets
Wizards
Raptors
Memphis wins but does not cover
NO
Spurs
And of Course Utah
All stink at home on Wednesday
Now the Suns and Boston are both at least very good at home on Wednesday Celtics possibly should be listed as excellent.
NY is 1-2 ATS this season and anyone who has the nerve to study the Utah game should get a medal.
Minn is not bad and Denver is hard to define
I believe Cleveland is on 2 days rest where they are 8-2 ATS this year and have won and covered 5 in a row on Wednesday
Straight up Wednesday results are
GS 12-0
Suns 11-2
Spurs 11-3
Clippers 12-3
The disaster candidates are
Brooklyn 4-13
Detroit 3-13
NY 2-11
Philadelphia 3-11
Lakers 2-9

C's are going to be playing several opponents on b2b coming up. No reason to believe they are going to playing anything but as hard as they have been. Potential opportunities

For a little comparison. There is currently 2156 wagers on the Cle/Mem game, 80% on Cleveland. Line moves in their favor by 3 points. 1300 wagers on Indy/Was, with 74% on Washington. Line moves .5 points against Washington.

Another look. 2053 wagers on OKC/SAS with 91% on OKC, and the line moves in their favor from +7 to +8. Don't think I would lay the 8 points, but sure would add the Spurs ML at -355 in a parlay. Especially after they got worked in the 2H yesterday.

Fairly scary but Nets away after 10-19 loss are 5-1 ATS. Hornets are on a death home day and after a 10 to infinity loss at home are 0-8 ATS. Nets are also 11-7 revenging home losses. Refs not great but it looks like a play on the theory that a home loss by 24 might have annoyed them

Have put in a ML parlay of Suns and Boston. See no real reason not to lay the points as well but taking my time.

Yeah I like the Suns as well. They got worked last night, and if Philly wasn't so garbage they would have been blown out. They had to sweat for that win. Don't think they get up for a road trip to play a rested Suns team.

Suns working for a playoff spot and have another down day tomorrow before a game with Portland. They'll work for the easy win to help their resume.

Miami by the way is 1-11 last 12 away on Wednesday and ATS is 3-8-1 and Covers match ups like Boston

Based on Covers match ups the Suns at home after a 6 point win are 1-6 ATS while the Kings are 0-3 ATS at home and 0-3 ATS away after a 0-4 win. Suns are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 wins and I do expect the ATS cover. Locked in Boston and Suns at 5 and 8. Another key is that they do want a 10 or greater win before the Portland game.

Celtics ml - large
game over 200 (bought .5) max

eyeing a bunch more waiting on more injury/rest reports

OKC might be right. Westbrook 29.57 Kanter 27.33 Augustin 22.13 Only 2 players went over 30. OKC 10-4-1 ATS on no rest Spurs 9-8-1 OKC is the younger team. The bad road losses did not have Kanter and Augustin. If you look at the teams OKC has been playing and beating and the ones the Spurs have been playing big difference in favor of OKC. Rebounding especially seems to favor them. Last 10 they have only lost 1 time and I believe are up 107 rebounds. Average play on OKC Took 8

Dwight healthy means trouble for the Rockets - especially their backers. With him, the line should move 2 points in Rockets favor, not against them...

Homer call, but tough for me to go against the Cavs in a pick'em, off rest, full strength. Been beating the tar out of the west lately.

Don't know. Cleveland looks really off lately. They need to step up their game each time and LeBron's comments on the fact that he couldn't care less about standing and Love's comments that he and LeBron aren't friends and Westbrook deserves MVP dont' inspire confidence in me, despite being a homer myself (go Blatt!!!) :)

That's all just noise. They're fine.

Any opinions on Toronto? They started slow yesterday, but fought hard to get back in. I think they beat Chicago tonight, but that's just a gut feeling right now.

I liked Toronto, but was really shocked to see Bulls favorites - so still thinking...

everyone knew a few days ago howard was playing tonight - only surprise is he is starting.....playing about 20 minutes...

line moved the other way because Tyreke evans and Omir Asik are supposed to play tonight

Divol. I don't think the spread is cause for concern. I think it's just an indication that the public strongly favors Chicago. Toronto on the later part of a back to back, and a tough loss to a weak Detroit might have inflated the line for Chicago.

I'm on grizz, raptors, and Suns.

Twolves game over 200 (bought 2) Max +xl

thinks this off by about 4 points

Nets game over 197 - xl

Based on the Covers chart you should play Denver tonight. Except they are playing on 2 days rest--small lean Philadelphia.

Lowry out...

I like the Sixers. They been fighting lately many times, while Nuggets are still so unpredictable...

Also, very obvious lean to the Under in Boston. Why on earth the total is so high there? Did both teams change the coaches and entire rosters and forgot to tell? Regardless of how the game plays out, this is total that is way too high...

why so obvious?

I am already on the over.

I am already on the over.

Obvious to me :)

Looking at H2H we get an Under. Looking at team's averages combined, we get an Under. Looking at the last 10 games, we get an Under. Any game can end up with any result, but can see how this is the correct total for this game.

Why Over?

With all Pelicans back (besides Holiday of course), it's hard not to like them in the first game of Dwight back with the Rockets.

Why Over?

no shot blockers for either team, Thomas playing for Celts.... playing at a fast pace and turner being more aggressive...score more at home
would have liked for Wade to be playing for efficiency reasons.. not sure i can trust walker and beasley to be efficient but they will chuck....

Some interest in Wiz. Pacers scuffling

Is this the game Atl comes alive?

Heat without whiteside puts Zeller in nice spot

Cleve team total under 1h good size play for me

Don't get the SA line. But I get them wrong so gonna try to stay away from OKC

Suns over?

Toronto should win. Line is confusing

Minn

Gonna fade Port for 3-4 games

Bj,

toronto on b2b, played hard last night after lowry went down.. bulls have butler and noah back.. ..i am staying away

I understand your reasoning as the C's probably think they can just out score the heat w/o wade/ whiteside. Worry a little that heat just won't score enough but if celts run and gun it goes over. Good luck.

agree,, made the play earlier today when i knew whiteside was out and thomas was going to play.. had no idea about wade...

Some interest in Wiz. Pacers scuffling - Wizards did really well on offense at home, before going on a terrible road trip - should bounce back on offense at home I think against Pacers that keep getting low totals on rival teams, due to good defense a month ago

Is this the game Atl comes alive? - I believe so and probably via defense. They spent some extra time watching video of their defense and said that they will focus on the defensive end tonight.

Heat without whiteside puts Zeller in nice spot

Cleve team total under 1h good size play for me

Don't get the SA line. But I get them wrong so gonna try to stay away from OKC

Suns over? - I like Over in Kings games always since ASG break - tonight I prefer the TT Over for the Suns though.

Toronto should win. Line is confusing - my thoughts exactly... :)

Minn - guessing what line ups either team will play is pointless - easy skip in my mind.

Gonna fade Port for 3-4 games - they are in big trouble at the moment...

Wrote my thoughts inside the text :)

Is this the game Atl comes alive?
I'm done trying to figure out this ATL team after that debacle against San Antonio. Think a lot of it is just the Hawks having played well above expectations and reality starting to sink in a bit, as well as complacency to a certain extent. Still think Budenholzer threw this team out of sync once he started resting guys...

If he kept playing them, we would have said that rookie coach with a team lacking playoff experience, made a rookie mistake of not resting his guys to make sure they are ready for playoffs.
I think they just had/have a natural let down spot, after securing the first place in the East.
