BUT the mavs are playing a b2b from Cali to high altitude. Unfortunately I don't know what to say about this. They cross each other out from a situational standpoint

I'd say for starters you want the Mavs to lose by plenty/put in a shitty effort vs. GS.

I'd say for starters you want the Mavs to lose by plenty/put in a shitty effort vs. GS.

Why? I wouldn't touch the mavs with a ten foot pole tomorrow. I respect the stats you have but the mavs are not a good defensive team by any stretch of the imagination and the altitude will make it worse.

Keeping in mind that the Kings on the road on Wednesday are 6-4 SU and 7-3 ATS why on a 9 spread is there silence?

The day I bet on Kings as road favorites - the way they look right now, is the day I will quit betting the NBA.

But, zero desire to bet on the Sixers.

I do like Dallas, at least SU wise - with Memphis, GSW winning last night and Phoenix got a decent shot at winning today, the last thing Dallas want is to add pressure to themselves by losing two in a row, especially with them playing in Oklahoma on Sunday next...

Dallas has huge rest after tonight's game and I see no reason why they shouldn't leave everything they got on the floor...

The Knicks being favored by 4.5 in Boston is hilarious IMO. Boston ML for me. The Knicks are still a dysfunctional group that beat 3 bad teams. Boston should get up for this game

I would be stunned to see Dallas lose tomorrow.
Meanwhile The Kings are on a 3 game losing streak with 4 tough games after Philadelphia and I am looking at them one way or another tomorrow

Suns are probably in trouble. Dallas is getting a long rest and only has around 7 more road games. They really needed to sign Gasol and I think Bledsoe should have been played for 10 minutes a game in the last 2 games just to get him up to speed. Now---To catch up they really need to beat a lot of tough teams. Not impossible but fairly unlikely.
Suns management can look at the lost playoff revenue and tell themselves IT WAS BAD LUCK

Suns goal in the beginning of the season never was about making the playoffs. I think that if one would have told them that in the middle of March, they would be making a playoff push, they would have grabbed that with both hands.

They are a fun to watch team, but on a crowded and very talented West, Suns are at best 10th - 11th best team (Minny also better roster wise in my eyes and Pelicans are even more or less).

I think the main issue for them is - can they build on that. Making the playoffs and lose in 5 - 6 games series to Spurs or Thunder, wouldn't have made too big of a difference. They would get a taste of the playoffs, but nothing more.
Right now, they got a roster that plays well together, tons of cap space and many draft picks - if GM will do a good job, they can really be a playoff team that can make a deep run in postseason within a season or two...

That is false. Core group of Dragic, Bledsoe and Green can play with anyone and the Suns bench is solid. Even Plumlee looked like he was coming back last game. But lack of team experience hurts. Players still do not know where they should be. Bottom line the Suns should probably be played frequently last part of the season and will be a very serious threat next year. Bledsoe was just out too long and Suns management fairly silly
I think if a minor miracle happens and they make the playoffs this is a team that could be a threat.

Also Minn! NO! That is comedy central. Min and Clippers won at Suns in die in pain home Tuesdays

There are no more home Tuesday games

I really doubt that Pelicans will be able to sweep the Grizzlies this season and go 4 - 0 on them.

Agree that it is tough to go from Cali to Utah b2b, esp for a veteran team

But think that it applies more for the dog days of the season - not when there is so much on the line and teams are fighting for their playoff lives

Dallas mailed it in last night knowing they had this game coming up and will put in a max effort performance with big rest coming up afterwards....

Whether that is enough to cover the spread is a diff story, but one thing is pretty certain - the focus and effort will be there

I do not see Knicks as being in better form than celts right now. Celts played pretty good against a determined Indy squad last night. Celts will defend the three well and only lose if their offense sucks which it can any night but probably won't due to Knicks typical defensive effort. I see a close game or an easy celts win.

some thoughts out loud:

miami should be able to run on the Nets -
detroit got their win last night
Sacramento - looking ahead to this game - dont want to lose to the sixers- Who is going to stop cousins (besides himself)
Denver - this might turn into a pick up game.. just run and shoot
Wiz- game with some meaning - wiz couldnt hit shit vs the heat. the addition of Gooden has been a pleasant surprise.
Celts- no rondo, might be a good thing..
memphis - revenge and all remaining games have meaning to the grizz, fighting for playoff spot -the fighting pelicans, plenty rested, playing decent the last 3 games
dallas - enough has been discussed already..
Spurs- was last night an easy start or a good situation? tblazers - bench is getting thin (moe out?)
Suns - Bledsoe back?, tucker suspended, when does the horseshoe fall out og green ass, - expect both teams to run? how many 3's will hawes attempt
Clippers/Gs- i think clippers blow em out...

Agree with a lot of this

The big guns on the spurs played very limited minutes last night, but with the bench blowing such a big lead late and Pop visible very upset with the way they closed it out - they should come out hard again tonite (was kind of a blessing in disguise)

Portlands guys played heavy, heavy mins on the other hand vs the griz and with Mo possibly out or playing at less than 100%, this creates a huge adv for the spurs who are 12 deep up up against a razor thin bench

Hardest thing to predict with an NBA team, especially one that is not top tier. Dallas had a gimme game in Denver last week and failed to show up.

Mavs also not great in high altitude. 15-25 SU last 40 played at Denver/Utah.

Took Under 210 CLE-PHO: Under is 5-0 with CLE on 3 days rest. Last meetin 189 pts +Play Under - All teams where the total is 200 to 209.5 after going over the total by 42 or more points total in their last five games, winning between 51% and 60% of their games on the season
67-31 over the last 5 seasons. ( 68.4% | 32.9 units )
17-14 this year. ( 54.8% | 1.6 units )
Took CLE +8,5 vs PHO: The Cleveland Cavaliers are 11-1 ATS
away with 3 or more days of rest. PHO without tucket + revenge for CLE + desperate need for wins in order to grab playoff spot.
TOR-MIA-LAC ML Parlay
Under DAL-UTA 202 and Under CHA-WAS 198,5

I also took Cleveland. I think that Bledsoe's return gives Cleveland very good chance to win SU here.
Looking at latest return of dominant PG to their teams (CP3 and Westbrook) - teams struggle the first 2 - 3 games, because teams found their own game during that time and need some time to readjust and I just can't see Cleveland playing any worse than they played against the Knicks - no way to go but up.

I won't be playing it, but thinking that Portland got some value as well. Just like after Bron's amazing game against Charlotte and cooled off after that - Spurs gave almost perfect game against the Bulls. No way to go but down from there.
Mo's absence means that Portland has no bench again and that takes most of the value on Portland but still, just doubt that Portland will roll over here.

I don't know if it's good or bad, but Portland owned Spurs recently, winning the last four games, including two very easy wins in SA. The only SA win came in a strange game, where SAS played without Timmy and TP and Portland was without Aldridge.

No Tucker and Bledsoe's first game back is a good argument for Cleveland. Miles and Bennet some concern. Fitzgerald the only ref in the Suns corner.
This might be a problem

Have read that the last 18 times 2 teams played each other both b-b went 16-2 over.
Obvious interest in Spurs over but no bets yet.

Why Dallas under?

cause i think the bet is slightly EV+ LAst 2 meetings this season went under (184 and 196 pts). On 1 day rest, Utah is averaging just 194 pts and is 6-2 U/O last 8 whereas DAL U/O pattern is O/U/O/U, etc.. it can't last forever. totals are like wins and losses they tend to be streaky even if it's less than in MLB.

OK. William Hill still has 8.5. Added Cleveland since the number with Cleveland on 3 days rest to Suns on 4-6 looks fairly stupid.

Teased Northern Illinois to 11 and Boston to 9.5. Will have Northern straight as well.

Magic horrible vs the West, Nuggets horrible on the road, I think they get the win tonight though. Line suggests over to me

yep but it's not a reduced juice book. was wondering what's better between a +7,5 spread @-110 and +7 spread @-105. Half point on the spread increases ATS% by 1% as well as 1 pt for a total no?

miami just does not care

lebron looks hungover.... miami cannot take advantage of the nets interior weakness.... perfect matchup for brooklyn

The nets are doing things they haven't done all year. The concentration on every single play is amazing. Just ridiculous efficiency and they are only up 2
