I would hedge the bet without question. Though I am lucky enough to have a family that could get me 100k in a day or so to make the play. I mean either way your going to get 100k regardless. If he can't get those kind of funds then I understand. Not everyone is lucky enough to do so. I hope he hits it...will be pulling for him no matter what.

If you ask me it's one of the 3 options:
1) He doesn't have the money to hedge (even though this scenario is dumb, I mean he already has a guaranteed winning shot, just has to get the money).
2) He has enough money not to feel like hitting his head against the wall if Phoenix win by 3.

on a sidenote, I would possibly play a road fav in his situation, but definitely not Phoenix, who have shat the bed more times than not in the playoffs, and what BC is saying, plenty of favs hitting these days.
