I'm not sure the hip drop was called all year, even though in preseason it was a supposed point of emphasis. NFL tried to bluff on that one to get more safety in the game and the players called the bluff.

He tried to sell it, the refs didn't buy it. This ain't hockey, there's no embellishment rule.
Looked worse than it probably was because the two defensive players ended up blowing each other up. Penalty was warranted though for leading with the helmet, even if his teammate took the brunt of the hit. It was a reckless play.
Schultz acted as a downfield blocker before the pass was completed. That's an obvious call that you see all the time.
Yeah, I don't know. On #10 (samp play by the way, the poster doubled twice which cuts his credibility IMO) you can see 74's right hand is not outside the defender's body frame. That's probably why they didn't call it.
First down line was right on the line marker. Knee touched and the ball was about 6 inches short. The sideline came was true vertical with the line to gain. I bitch about spot bias more than anyone but that spot was correct. He was short.
In the second one the two players got caught wanting to lay the wood rather than just making sure he went down. They were typical meathead defenders.Dude there's context outside of these still frames.
The first was not a penalty at all and the 2nd Mahomes in such scumbag fashion sought it out and slid into the guy after prancing around.
Chiefs fans are delusional.
Exactly. Keep the stats I don’t give a fuck. I’ve got 46 years through these eyes and I’m not a Chiefs fan. It’s pretty simple boys. There’s millions of these stats out there, Chiefs have way more penalty yards than opponents, including 4th Q of 1 score games and including playoffs. Sad!
Nobody is saying that the refs are throwing flags out of thin air. A lot of plays can look at least a little like there‘s some sort of tackling infraction or holding. The whole point is that it‘s apparent that they‘re looking to favor the Chiefs. It adds up. They repeatedly win games from calls and don’t lose any from calls. You get to see it from the angle of the ref that threw the flag. From his position it was understandable why he threw the flag. Maybe not correct, but he sees the helmet coming in high.

I would say it‘s more reason than eyes. Your eyes can nit-pick every call or non-call. But overall it adds up to something distinct. The Chiefs are treated differently, favorably, just like Brady-led New EnglandTrust the eyes. They don't lie.

Oh man watch the end of the first half of Pats/Jags AFC Championship Game. They literally march Brady down the field, it's pathetic. And the second half is even worse when they call Myles Jack back while he's on his way to a touchdown and wait til Jax converts a first down to call a pre-snap penalty.True, but I don't remember many crazy penalties that happened for Brady like these calls on third down, rz, personal fouls etc. Pats were a lucky team a lot but it didn't really have to do with the refs iirc.
Dont remember which games exactly but I do recall one playoff game where they got stuffed on 4th and goal. Refs throw 15 yd flag BS get a new set of downs to punch it in. Also the game where NE would have turned it over on downs around the 15 so Brady go does down writhing in pain and looks over at ref who then decides to throw a phantom flag it was so comical bc no one was within 3 yards of Brady. New set of downs...TD.. rest is history.True, but I don't remember many crazy penalties that happened for Brady like these calls on third down, rz, personal fouls etc. Pats were a lucky team a lot but it didn't really have to do with the refs iirc.
I‘m told that the refs are just bad. They just always happen to favor the Chiefs

The Chiefs barely win. Their point differential for their seed and win record is historically negligible. They are not a good enough team to win as much as they do. Instead, they benefit from calls like no other team does. The refs never cost them games. Ref incompetence should hurt and help different teams more or less equally if the refs are merely impartial. They happened. Probably the same as with the Chiefs as NFL officiating is still fucking horrible. You are either not remembering like you said, or choosing not to remember. You can probably go on this site and find multiple posts bitching about the Patriots and the officiating. You can almost definitely find the same on Twitter, YouTube or something similar.
It’s funny everyone agrees how horrible NFL officiating is, yet can’t see that as the obvious reason this is what’s happening here.
Was that Lakers/Sac or that a different one?Basketball is like this, too. Kobe 2013 playoff push is well-known. It shouldn’t surprise anyone
I'm curious about this 2013 tooWas that Lakers/Sac or that a different one?
I think Lakers/Kings was 2002 where Tim Donaghy reffed and said NBA told officials to favor the LakersWas that Lakers/Sac or that a different one?
There‘s no way this is just incompetenceI'm curious about this 2013 too

This is true though. Officiating in the NFL is fucking horrible, and it’s horrible across the board. The thing is, the Chiefs are really good and are on National TV a bunch and they are in the playoffs and seemingly the SB every year, so their games get watched by more people than say the TB Bucs or whatever. These calls are just magnified because they’re seen by more eyes.
The same exact thing, like you could probably find posts/tweets/quotes about the Patriots and Tom Brady during their dynasty run.
Do we really think it just so happens the officials are on the side of the team who wins the most at the time and not simply realize that ALL officiating is horrible and the Chiefs (and Pats before) are simply seen more and play bigger games so the tension by fans is up and they need something to blame?
Let's just find one important game where they got fucked then.
2002 wasn't really Donoghy thing -- that was the NBA doing it's going -- totally separate
Nets and Kings Finals was a disaster for them potentially

I guess Lamar isn’t good enough to get star treatment lol![]()

Gave the game to KC. Buffalo literally converted twice in a row, but the refs wouldn’t allow it.![]()

The ref on the side of the field where the ball is down has the spot, not the ref on the opposite side of the field. That didn't happen. Imagine that.Just noticed rewatching that the other ref should have been allowed to spot the ball. Allen turned towards him, so he's the only one that can see where the ball was. Instead, the ref that's closer makes the call when he has no idea where the ball was and spots it in a place that just isn't even possible for Allen to have been.
Penalties for the regular season game KC vs BUF…KC 6 for 57, BUF 3 for 24 (one of them an intentional delay of game on a punt situation, one of them was an offsetting penalty), so the Bills had one penalty in the game essentially, which was a PI call on a 1st and goal from the 5 for the Chiefs.
This obviously wont tell the whole story as there were missed calls, etc. For some reason I feel there was a RTP call against Allen that was laughable. There were also 2 penalties on 3rd downs against the Chiefs on 2 of Buffalo’s TD drives. One was a long PI call on 3rd and long, the other defensive holding on another 3rd and long.
As much as Mahomes rightfully gets shit for flopping, Josh Allen does the same thing just as much. He’s ALWAYS looking for the call, just as most QBs seem to be doing these days.
