I have "in five" exactas on BOTH the Capitals 8-1 and VGK 5-1 so will probably NOT bet a side BUT will obviously be pulling for my VGK. Marc-Andre Fleury has been very "un-Flower like" the 1st two games of this series with 4 GA's on 28 SOG's game one then a 3 GA on 26 SOG's game two. Braden Holtby with 5 GA's on 33 SOG's the 1st game but came back with just 2 GA's on 39 SOG's including that reaching back paddle down magical save at the end of game two. do NOT forget that "The Holt Beast" shut out the usually high powered Lightning the last two games of that series BUT "The Flower" with 4 shutouts and 3 one GA games in his 17 games played these playoffs and has WON 4 in a row TWICE with the sweep of the LA Kings and last four of the Jets series after losing the 1st game in Winnipeg 2-4. 11 of 17 Fleury VGK playoff games have gone UNDER a 5 1/2 total while 10 of Holby's 20 starts (did NOT play the 1st game of the Bluejackets series) have gone UNDER 5 1/2 only 2 of the 8 VGK road games these playoffs have gone OVER a 5 1/2 and I am leaning UNDER in game three :shake:

well two hours until game time. Capitals scribe Mike Vogel with "Kuznetsov seems likely to play". guess we will have to wait for warmups to know for sure. VGK line has dropped to +105 with Capitals now -115 @ Westgate
 
Mr. LeRinkRat, what kind of game you expecting tonight? Vegas sort of disappeared in the 3rd the other night and the Caps were on them tight with the forcheck. The first game was wide open hockey with both teams going to the net. I hope the same thing happens tonight.

I really think the VGK will try to play better D tonight and protect Fleury. like I said only 2 of the 8 VGK road games these playoffs have gone OVER a 5 1/2 :shake:

well "Nut & Honey" end of 1st. SOG's 7-6 Capitals. one PP each team. hate to say the Capitals look quicker tonight so far and doing a good job disrupting VGK rushes BUT the VGK did hit 2 posts in the 1st :(

What's interesting I've noticed is how deficient VGK are at winning faceoffs
 
from what I am seeing tempted to chance Capitals -2 1/2 +130. VGK look completely FLAT tonight. SOG's 11-4 Capitals in 2nd
 
Holtby just has the VGK bamboozled . Tuch with a break in a MISS the net BUT PP VGK to end the period
 
This game is over if VGK don't gett their fargon heads out of their HOCKEY BAGS! Should be wide open hockey in the 3rd if VGK can get a quick goal. The Caps are playing a solid game tonight defensively.
 
AND 2-0 Capitals end of 2nd with SOG's 14-7 Capitals in the period and 21-13 game. VGK keep playing like THIS and they go back to Las Vegas DOWN 3 games to 1 :enragedsmile:
