as a VGK fan I hate to say it BUT from what I saw in game two and esp three of the series I think the VGK will be lucky to NOT get "skunked" after winning game one. Fluery just NOT as sharp in earlier series and is being out played by Holtby AND it seems the Capitals have figured a way to slow down the VGK offense. Vegas just NOT getting the clean brake outs from earlier series :popcorn:
 
bit of a "line dump" toward VGK Monday with NOW VGK +105 Capitals -115 @ Westgate. total now 5 1/2 over +105 under -125 across the board. OPINIONS ??? :confused:
 
Imo if you like Vegas (I do) under correlates with them perfectly. I do not expect Fleury to go down w/o a fight and no chance I'd bet on Wash somehow steamrolling them...conservative type game to me
 
i think vgk will bounce back here... or maybe its wishful thinking...
vgk at over or caps at under . see a something like 4-2 for vgk if they can if not maybe something like 2-1 , 3-1 or blowout 4-0 caps...
 
well the VGK have to figure a way to bust the Capitals trap-transition. that is usually THEIR game BUT Washington has done it better the first three games although the VGK DID win game one. I think this statement in an article from "that other site" is VERY telling "Braden Holtby, meanwhile, has played the part of the Conn Smythe goaltender more so than Marc-Andre Fleury in this series" I have "The Holt Beast" to win the Conn Smythe @ 8-1 along with Evgeny Kuznetsov 25-1 "sprinkle" bets @ Westgate

going to stick to my guns here of vgk over or caps under and think will put in 2 hedge parlays of those.
 
Problem is that in the last three games, the Knights have been playing some of their worst hockey of the year. Maybe that is being caused by the Caps, maybe it isn't but they are not looking themselves.

Caps getting to everything before the knights, and the knights, by all reasonable accounts, have the faster skates. They are tired or confused or just not trying hard enough the last few and in other parts of the year when the team played this way, Fleury picked them up but he has been playing his worst hockey of the year too.

Maybe just matchup problems. I don't study hockey enough to know... I think I will just cheer for the Golden Knights and hope for the best. Not gonna take three straight from the Caps and everyone knows it so this should be a pretty intense game.

Also the Caps goalie is standing on his head (with the help of some posts).

Going into the series the big edge for Knights was goalie but the opposite has been true. In fact, had the Caps goalie not made the gaff, the knights are shut out.

me too, but it looks like those creeps in vegas sportsbooks wont lose . did they put something in the knights water supply to insure they lose lol?
 
VGK needed to score and had some great chances and didn't bury them. Once again missing the net and the Caps not missing. Thats the difference and this game is over. Good luck and good night.

well Devante Smith-Pelly was getting $650K this season and Jay Beagle $1.75 million. he is 32 years old but STILL one of the best D-forwards and PK specialists in the league. VGK have the cap space to make a "take out" bid on D-SP that the Capitals can NOT match with their salaries for Ovechkin, Oshie and others

Eddie Olczyk saying Gerard Gallant should consider pulling Fleury for "Dulcolax Max" Lagace in the 3rd to give him a rest going into game five and I AGREE. "Flower" looks wore out :(

"Snoopy" would not only bring defensive skill but leadership. D-SP would THRIVE in Las Vegas. the town would go NUTS for him. "BANGER with SKILLS"
