Just putting some early thoughts out:

A lot of times the UF season really helps guys and they end up at better gyms and just make huge improvements from the time you see them in the house until the finale. THe 6 weeks of training with good coaches (most of the time) also has a huge benefit for these guys. The house also plays tricks on their minds, imo and causes some guys to not fight up to their potential. (Bubba?)

I really liked what I saw out of Hester. I need to do some more digging into Marunde, but my gut says Hester is a guy that is going to show a ton of improvment.

Andrews vs. Quinlan. Wasn't really impressed with either guy. Andrews clearly fought Hall scared and I've never seen someone get basically finished w strikes while in someones guard. Might just take whoever they put an underdog.

Barnett vs. Hart. I wasn't impressed with Hart at all. Barnett causes some matchup problems, I lean toward him winning.

Samman vs. Casey. Casey is a grappler. Once you land on him, he appears done. Samman seems like a douche, but is well rounded and is dangerous off his back. I think Samman keeps it standing or does enough to get back on his feet if taken down.

Bubba vs. Smith. Didn't see much of Smith and wasn't impressed. Bubba wins.

Hall vs. Kelvin. Hall is obviously going to be the big favorite. Kelvin is tough though and and a ton of heart. What happens if Kelvin takes Hall down? Undecided on this one.

Bubba mcdaniel is a huge pussy but Gilbert is a good matchup for him.

Everyone was scared of Uriah before they got in the ring. Kelvin can take him down but probably will lose if its standup. Uriah is good, only real bad loss was to wiedman who is about to beat the spider.

Hall sent guys to the hospital. The one on Cella was beautiful. The one on Bubba was just Bubba being dumb and jumping in with his chin up.

Hall is gonna be a huge favorite, I'm guessing. But, Kelvin is tough and has not only solid wrestling but one punch power. IF the line gets too out of hand, I will jump on Kelvin.

Haven't dipped into other fights yet.

This was a great season. Dana went above and beyond hyping Urijah. If you remember, to get in the house he really struggled. He has elite striking but if you google him vs. Weidman who also has power in his hands and great wrestling, you will see that Urijah looked human.

Thanks Hunt, huge compliment. I've been up and down with MMA this year. Seemed I was on the dogs when a long streak of faves won and then on the faves when the dogs hit, but I stick with it.

If I thought people actually read my stuff, I'd post more thoughts on MMA in here, lol. (which i will do)

Probably won't lock in many plays till after the weigh ins. I tend to value bet so I may not hit often, but do hit some juicy dogs at times.

The Blanco line came in where I expected. May look to an ISD bet with him. He's a dangerous fighter.

I'm leaning Lawrence. I think he's improving and has a lot of potential.

Bart is favored as he should be.

Hester is -170. Thats a bit low, imo. Hester is athletic as hell with a boxers background. I don't see where Marunde has an advantage.

Andrews/Quinlan is even as expected. Slightly leaning toward Andrews, as I thought he had some decent wrestling.

Barnett a slight fave, may not touch this one.

Samman -490. Ok, yeah, easy win.

Bubba -170 is a bit low. I may parlay that with Hester. I feel both guys have been thrown cans to get impressive stoppages.

I thought Tate would be a bigger favorite.

Frank's wins are a lot more impressive than Cormier's. He did look awful in the JDS fight. I just think this is a huge step up for Cormier, but we'll see.

I don't see how Mir gets Cormier down. Cormier is an elite wrestler. Cormier also knocked Bigfoot out. And he didn't just beat Barnett, he manhandled him.

Benson/Melendez should be a great one.
