Starnes ran away like a little pussy ... one of the judges scored it 30-24 ..... i have been watching ufc for awhile now and have never heard of such a thing .... but it was deserved ... i landed as much punishment to nate quarry tonight as starnes did. After that fight , Dana White should never allow that clown on a pay=per-view event again.
GSP looked great tonight ... fast , strong , technically sound.
McCarthy kind of looked outclassed to me.... Though there was a moment when he had bisping in some trouble on the ground. Best i have ever seen bisping look ... apparently he likes this weight better.
On a side note i was at the cherrry club in the red rock ( fertida owned casino in vegas ) on an invite to watch this thing. Great time there.
I heard that Reggie Bush has contacted Starnes to get a few tips on how to run better.
All in all an enjoyable event.

if you guys get a chance watch the franklin fight, that armbar defense was one of the prettiest things i've seen this side of nick's gogo... starnes when he shows up is pretty decent, he's just got no heart (sad too, he could be great)
if you watch it again ... franklin spins out of that armbar at the perfect time as it is simultaneous to lutter making a slight adjustment in his grip. I like how franklin mentioned lutter's reputation for not training hard and tiring in the postmatch interview.

Rich Franklin did a HOUDINI and a move I have never seen to escape an arm BAR. AT first I thought he powered out of it. But he did a Denis Savard Spin a Rama to escape it. Lutter is completely a fool does he train cardio, his trainer told him at start of round 2 don't worry keep fighting, too bad he is as skilled on the ground as I have ever seen.
NO wonder Franklin loses to Silva, he is just not athletic and is clearly just a bruiser, look at how big he is for 185, he looks bigger than FOrrest Griffiths who is a light heavyweight.
Kalib Starnes has garnered a lot of interest from NFL scouts, they are looking at him to play DB, they say he has great back pedalling skills. Bellicheck had the following quote" We need a guy like he has great backward movement, and will not get burned coming to the line and playing bump and run. Bellicheck further stated " if we had Starnes covering Plaxico Burres on that game winning Td, he would have been there in the endzone waiting for Manning's pass before the snap of the ball"
Bisping looked awesome and would not shut up after winning. He apparentely knows french now, and was pumped. He did look great, and is a very good Muay thai striker, he looked like SILVA with those deadly knees.
Gsp aka Van DAMNE won again- I won a big parlay on this one 10 to 1 on a GSP win in round 2. He was like a pit bull ready to bite Serra's head off before the fight. Too bad Serra is a good guy for sure. He is better than I thought, and did well to last as long as he did. He is composed, but GSP can outwrestle anyone??
Can GSP beat ANderson SILVA, that may be the match that has to happen, GSP can probably out wrestle him, but Silva is a better striker, and slick. That would be a dream match.
Speaking of Starnes not surprising, he is from Surrey Bc, a lot of airheads are from there, and he hangs with gangstas, he is not too bright, and has no striking game. The guy he was fighting looked like a GSP on roids. He will give Adnerson Silva a fight he is juiced up and explosive.
Starnes was scared and spooked, he is a disgrace though, if you get knocked out, u get knocked out, the fans will respect u, but you cannot run away, they could have thrown anyone in the ring to run away/
