Tuesday MLB Discussion

Love the thoughts SN, and I am also going to take a big chance and lay the -200 chalk here. My main worry though, as you mentioned is the extended rest for chamberlain after throwing a high pitch count. I also don't like how he has yet to eclipse 7 innings even while throwing in the 90-115 pitch range. He is also allowing a fair number of base runners and issuing walks, though his last performance showed better control. He needs to be more efficient with his pitches as the middle relief of the Yankees is dangerous. If joba only goes 5, I can easily see the 6-7 inning as a sport where the yanks get owned. I still like my chances, but those were my main points of concern in terms of SP and stamina.

The thing that really makes me angry is the fact that the yankees couldnt hit the middle relief of the Rangers if their life depended on it yesterday. I know they play like a 300million dollar team when they want to, but shit, i dont know what they feel like doing anymore. I'm more inclined to think they get it up for their fire tossing ace, but we'll see. Only way the yanks lose this one imo, is in a low soring affair where they suck shit on offense. GL

Brett Gardner hitting 2nd? Lefty called up hitting only .287 in the minors with a little bit of speed.... Is it that bad that they have to bat this guys 2nd? Shit. At least Damon is in.
 
wow actually.... 8 guys are gonna be batting LHB in the yanks lineup. Potential big ouch for millwood, as he get hit .4 higher against lefties career, but not so much this year.... no jeter, but i kinda like the potential of the lineup.

my local pay tv channel is listing a game live carried by ESPN, but not what the fixture is. I see no reference to ESPN carrying a game on their fixtures list onsite. Anyone confirm for me its the STL/METs game?
