I have not really seen what happened on Monday so I might have to change my opinion once I catch up. For now ...

Have to think about Wash ML with Hamels still a ??? mark and Lannan facing a lineup pretty full of LHBs . Usually the 1st 5 Under and ML did well for Lannan last year but that was 08 so who knows how relevant ...

Lohse hurt his knee last start , went for MRI , which showed nothing wrong structurally. He seems okay though but not as sharp on the road usually . Lots of LH to face as well . Reyes is always a question mark but he had a good camp and believe he did well 1st start . Depending on where the price ends up ATL could hold my interest but I did lose with them on Monday ...

Wandy already defeated Harang 7-0 this season so that favors Harang in the rematch . Think he is usally soldi vs Houston but had some issues lately which think some of it last year was due to the fact he faced them right off the DL without any rehab starts and got waxed...Reds tend to be tough at home on LH as well ...

Nolasco still struggling , FLA sees Livan for a 2nd time ..???? , Hanley left the game today after being plunked and already battled some bad back issues ....have to think FLA adapts some but then you see Jaime Moyer own them time and time again . Can they adjust ? Doesnt seem like it when you use Moyer as an example. Livan has been terrible in day starts and believe thats when his last 2 have come so maybe the guy needs the bright lights as a distraction to be effective ..just kidding but definetly stay away from Livan in the day ...

Its tough in MILW . Happy as hell the Brew Crew won 10-5 and cashed my -1.5 play but also feel very strongly that I am correct and MILW wins this series despite the fact Maholm and Snell go because Bush and Gallardo still deal for the Crew . Oh and the fact they won 16 straight at home vs Pitt now and if McLouth sat today Pitt is minus 3 starters. Milw tough on LH at home and Bush really tough at home but scared somewhat that he is off a no hit bid . SOme guys carry the momentum and alot seem to struggle afterward...sure we hear all about all Maholm and value but if Bush is his usually self then see MILW winning ......

Not sure at all about COL w/o some real research . Gaudin just signed and not sure how stretched out he is but quality guy IMO when right .

Zambrano hasnt seemed to sharp which is scary because think Zonas bats ar coming around finally . Still on paper dont like Zona vs LH or tough RH and Petit might be more relaxed with the knowledge he is in the rotation for awhile. Cubs also shorthanded ....have to lean Cubs..

Billingsley is nails but thought he was not as good as the stat sheet showed in Houston. Bot sure about ast history bewteen he and SF but do think LH are presenting some issues for LAD at the moment . Sanchez getting juggled in and out ofthe rotation being the 5th guy has me concerned but he looks to be really coming around....

Interested to see Hughes here and think I like NYY with him but also think we have to keep looking at Yankee unders until some of the vet bats come around ....

Like everything Reyes has done with CLE and just crazy about Boston at this point despite their hot streak . Penny in the AL as road chalk ..?? Tribe cant hit a lick ...

Balt faces a LHP...we know after today now 10-27 L37 at home vs LHSP , we know 2-10 last 12 at home and we know this was just teh 2nd loss in that span where they cracked 3 runs but only had 4 .....so TT under maybe and LAA..Eaton was good last outing but with more LHs for LAA think tougher task..although BALTS wins have come as dogs and think Saunders had some issues with the lineup very tough to take BALT vs LHSP ...

Millwood has been pretty damn good so far but cant buy a win though TOR was probably his worst start if I recall correctly. Anderson pretty solid from what I have seen needs to avoid the big inning though and Texas may be a learning curve for him . Hard to even take under despite the matchup because the TEX pen could be worn out after alot short outings from the SP but then again Millwood could go deep . Have Oaks bats awoken as well..??? Rangers still not thrilling vs RHP as the LH bats are basically all starting slow..

Scott Richmond has been suprisingly good but Gil Meche at -135/-140 is always catching my eye. So lean KC with Guillen back and hitting at least today

Poor Shields he has to face another quality starter and worst of all a LH which Rays are like maybe 1-7 against so far ...like Shields but the whole opposing LH is a wrench.....even with Liriano allowing so untimely HRs.....

Same thoughts on CWS with Danks and Felix was real sharp last time should give CWS some fits ...see what the numbers come out with ..

Just initial thoughts literally no research and no real clue what occurred today . Other then the fact I said road teams would struggle in the NL today and happened to play the only 2 NL home teams who have lost so far ..lol ...

5-0 to Under in the AL Monday, after a 6-1 Under Sunday.

nice heads up on that . Knew about Sunday but didnt really stand out here on Monday ...

had 2 near misses with Balt and Tor that needed alot of help to stay under after the 1st h of the game . Maybe not help but certainly zeroes..TB and Minny was fairly close ...

Brad Hawpe was hit in the back of neck and taken to the hospital for a concussion on a throw from the SD catcher . Would guess Tuesday is definetly a day off.

Side note dexter fowler turned back the clock to the early 80s when Rickey and Vince were swiping bases in bunches . He had 5 today ...

Also the Rockies pen is being worked of late . Another short outing for the starter .....

stros pen w/o Valerde is not looking good but dont mind Sampson getting saves ...

Lidge also hurting was unable to close ...

maybe interested in the over at atlanta or stl tt Over . Reyes was solid for the 1st 5 plus innings but was unraveling in the 6th in his start @ Pitt . Kinda recall him being a guy who did struggled that 3rd time around the order . So he may have trouble going deep into games because of that and Braves pen is better but still problematic with the big innings imo....trends dont really support it but think STL has improved some this season vs LH . Still Marshall was solid then the pen imloded think salami by Albert , Ollie Perez had one bad inning where he allowed 4 or 5 runs think in the 5th....if we see 4.5 might have value ...STL now 6-2 vs LH

Interesting is that wash is 5-6 away vs LHP L11 but has 4 games lost by 1 run. So the +1.5 RL is on my radar now. Also despit ebeing 3-6 also 3 losses by 1 run...pretty interesting to have 7 of 11 losses decided by 1 run .......also away lost by 2 runs and 5-0 @ Milw facing CC with the kid Balester , sort of inevitable to have a wide margin loss...

7-4 UNDER with 1 game missing by a half run and the other 3 overs in consecutive games vs LHs..

24 runs scored with 2 quality SP always makes me think UNDER ...

The 8/10/08 start was the one were Harang returned from the DL and got waxed . Think he allowed a ton of runs in the 1st inn alone like 7 just a guess though.

After that won last 5 home games vs LH , to start this year off only 1-2 , however did lose 2-1 to Johan and the other was Maholm so not bad really.

11 away games vs LHS and scored 3 or less in 9 , 4 one time and 6 the high water game.....yikes ! Get this 10-0-1 UNDER in those last 11 away vs LHSP....home though 6-3 over ....

Both SP are inconsistent vs opponent but also have alot of good starts vs eachother ...think this might play into an over because the pens are real worrisome imo but past history something 11-1 L12 meetings going under makes one think twice.....

SD struggling badly in 3 of the past 4 games vs LHSP and DeLaRosa has been decent . 4-4 with 2 losses by 1 to end last season away and so far 1-2 with a loss by 1 run. So 5-6 but half the losses by 1 run...+1.5 ??

Nothing stands out really other then they are either hot or cold vs LHP ...4-4 O/U last season and 1-1-1 this season...in the past 11 away road games

really suprised this total is not like 11.5 so desite the lack of value still seems like an interesting under prospect ..

sea @ cws : jakubitch vs. big boy - looks utterly ridiculous to see seattle favored in chicago with this bum. with that said i like seattle but i like the over more. both pitchers will get slammed and i think bartolo will be on the losing end.

sea @ cws : i like felix to beat john. im pretty pist because i liked john to beat jaku but now matchups are switched and i think my team gets swept in the doubleheader. like the under if it is 8.5, if it's 8 then it gets a little dicey. think the line will be even or maybe even seattle slight underdog and ill jump on it.

instead of the usual split, the white sox tend to get slammed in both games. it's happened more than once the past couple years that the sox lose both games by like double digits. not that it means a damn thing tomorrow but i really don't like either game for the white sox and im sure we will get some juicy odds on felix.

Millwood has thrown 452 pitches in his last 4 starts....His arm may fall off...thinking over or the A`s...Anyone interested in looking up stats on how pitchers perform after 2 consecutive starts of 100 + pitches thrown..Was at a pirates website and another poster mentioned the elias sports beaureu (sp?)report saying that pitchers in general struggle in the 3rd game..

Dbacks have went 13 games w/o scoring a 1st inn. run...

Houston +opp played @ 4 games w/o scoring a first inn. run ...Longest NL streak at the moment

Will simply say this. This is a 4 game series where Toronto is only interested in 2 games. Games 2 and games 3. They may win game four simply because KC is so bad in day games but winning or losing game 4 is nothing to them. They want Meche and they want Grienke. Do not forget that the KC bench coach is their previous manager. This is a very deliberate series.

interesting find on millwood. one thing I remember reading was how Nolan Ryan was going to whip these pitchers in shape so wonder has that had any effect ? I think the fact he has done it 4 times to start the season is whats eye catching . I know he had a few stretches of 100 + and checked his 2005 season because it just seems similiar . He had an 8 start stretch with 105+ but it also started in early august..

like anything the amount of stress those pitches were thrown under also plays a role in the impact. Intersting is that he is on normal rest now and off his highest pitch count of 116 whch 115 + starts do catch my attention. Which Tor he definetly labored at points ..

also key is the fact Texas played a 7 game trip and come home with no rest but the downer is they own OAK in arlington lately

anyway the fact that stands out is he is done this to start the season as 4 straight doesnt really concern me otherwise .....

more to look at tmrw , need some zzzzzzzsss

On weather.com; if you look up the weather for the white sox game at 7 they are predicting heavy winds out to right field..wonder how it is for the earlier one...leaning to the over in game 1 for sure

also to note, the jays have yet to lose consecutive games this year as they have found ways to bounce back...

Following a loss this year:
5-1 Loss followed by a 6-2 win Over detroit
8-5 Loss followed by a 8-6 win Over Minny
3-2 Loss followed by a 12-2 win Over Minny
8-5 Loss followed by a 4-2 win Over Oakland
5-4 Loss followed by a 8-7 win Over Texas
10-2 Loss followed by a 4-3 win Over White sox

The O/U is 3-3 in those games and the runline is 4-2..i know it's a small sample and i haven't fully looked into the game but just thought i'd throw it out there

Richmond pitched that game and this was his line against the twinks
6.1 Ip-4 hits-2 runs-1 ER-3 walks-3 k's-3.58 ERA

Wash & Pitt blew leads last night, SF blew their lead in the 9th Sunday, FLA blew their lead in the 9th Saturday. All these blown leads, yet I'm in the black. I should be thankful but I needed to vent. Fuck!

Alright, 909 is only one that stands out before digging deeper. Hou/Cin und 8 seems logical, but I think 1st5 und 4 at reasonable price would be better bet.

WAS ML in a Hamels fade
DET ML in a Hughes fade --> way too cheap for a seemingly hot pitcher at home
LAD/SF u1H

Just wanted to add .02 about Hamels. Fading him early was certainly the way to go, but before he took the line drive off his should in his last outing, he had looked really sharp vs the Brewers. Other than one mistake to Braun for a HR, he had retired 9 of the first 11 batters he faced. He struck out 6 in 3 1/3 and I remember thinking that he may have turned the corner, he was looking pretty sharp. He's also got great numbers vs the Nats in his career...3-1 with a 0.43 ERA and 48 K's in 42 innings. Dunn is 1 for 8, Nick Johnson 3 for 11, Kearns 6 for 22 and Zimmerman 10 for 37 (.270) vs Hamels. Not sure if fading him today is the way to go. Not advocating a play on the Phils necessarily, but fading Hamels today might be trouble.

Locked in KC under 4 minus 5 cents, Toronto plus 28 cents and waiting for minus 1.5
1.5 plus 85 cents.

AGREE

but then there was lannan

..Lannan versus left handed batters has struggled 8.10 era, 3 hr's and 6 earned runs what doesn't help is his splits away from home..
10 era 15 hits 10 earned runs 3 hr's..this year as a starter he's had 16 strikeouts but 12 of those are against right handed batter and all of them came at home...phillies bats are hot..the benching finally sent a message to rollins...with the amount of lefties on this team (howard, utley, rollins, ibanez, victorino) phils could do well at the plate...tt over possibly, i'm already on the over @ + money

like the jays too...

after the rangers faced the jays, they said that Richmond really kept them off balance - partly due to the unfamiliarity of a new pitcher, think he can use to this to his advantage again tonight - some of the key guys on the jays have some pretty decent #'s against Meche i believe

I was interested so I checked it out.

2004:
2 DH for CWS, 2 splits.
May 1 Toronto at Chicago Sox CWS, 4-3, Tor, 10-6
May 13 Baltimore at Chicago Sox Bal, 1-0 CWS, 6-5

2005:
1 DH for CWS, a split
August 30 Chicago Sox at Texas Tex, 8-6 CWS, 8-0

2006:
None.

2007.
4 DH: 1 sweep, 2 reverse sweeps, 1 split
May 16 NY Yankees at Chicago Sox CWS, 5-3 NYY, 8-1
July 6 Minnesota at Chicago Sox Min, 20-14 Min, 12-0
July 24 Detroit at Chicago Sox CWS, 5-3 CWS, 8-7
August 24 Boston at Chicago Sox Bos, 11-3 Bos, 10-1

2008:
3DH: 1 sweep, 1 reverse sweep, 1 split.
April 26 Baltimore at Chicago Sox Bal, 5-1 CWS, 6-5
eptember 9 Toronto at Chicago Sox Tor, 3-1 Tor, 8-2
September 14 Detroit at Chicago Sox CWS, 4-2 CWS, 11-7

10 DH since 2004.
2 sweeps, 3 reverse sweeps, 5 splits.

FWIW. Having said that I doubt it the Sox get swept today, I liked their energy this weekend, I think that GS from Alexei might have stirred things up. I'm not fading them in both games that's for sure. :shake:

hey guys anyone have numbers for the team totals on rangers and kc yet? im leaning over the rangers and under for the royals. this royals team just can't put up the runs they need to especially when meche is pitching. royals are averaging a putrid 4 runs a game and only hitting .212 against right handers. if it wasn't for guillen last night they only would have scored 4 runs. Rangers on the other hand are averaging 10 runs a game and hitting .335 against lefties which doesn't look good for anderson who's struggled through his first three games. Anderson's posting a 5.86 era and allowed 12 runs through 18 innings pitched.

I just don't see how you can warrant a blind play against Hamels with the Phils numbers against Lannan.

If your that set against Hamels, you have to look over IMO.

Played Minn ml plus 12 cents and rl plus 215. Thought possibly this is just a stupid line. Do batter vs pitcher and on fairly short samples a lot of Minn pitchers have tagged Shields but very little the other way. Liriano is good at home and at night. This is at home and at night. Shields likes the day and home and does not pitch well in Minn. Covers chart, days of the week and I all vote for Tampa being booted out of Minn by large margins. Now the only problem is implementing the decision.

pretty tough one tuck. i think that line will attract a decent amount of minny money. i wouldnt mind a play on TB and maybe an under because i expect liriano to pitch better, but might not be enough to win.

Really very mechanical. Minn is great today as a days of the week play. A lot of their batters have hit Shields. They have not lost a game 2 at home this year. Tampa has not played well in this park or against left handers. My line was Minn minus 35 cents.

Personally, I don't think many of Liriano's numbers are relevant right now, and if they are, they are slanted/weighted to 2006 performance. Last year he had 3-4 bad starts, was sent down, and came back nicely in the 2nd half of the year. This year he hasn't shown rebounded like one would have expected, at least with a small sample size of 4 starts. I have no problem "dogging" the Twins here. They haven't shown any reason to be a favorite at home despite historically performing well there.

This season he has pitched 13 innings at home and given up 5 runs. I am betting on him pitching at home under ideal conditions. Talking about his results on the road is not relevant. Small play on under 5 in Philadelphia first 5. Game after these 20 plus jobs is usually faded to under. Think Hamels is likely back. Lannan never gets support anyway. Problem with a game bet is weather is marginal so I want in and out.
Tampa 7-13 last 20 at site and last 3 wins at site were Baker who does not seem well and 2 from Bonser who should not have been allowed to pitch.
Lirano has started 18 games at home and 13 were quality starts, 2 were bad and 3 were average. Tampa is 6-7 away this year and 5 of those losses were by 2 or more so plus over 2 dollars is a reasonable gamble. Shields is a reasonable pitcher and i will happily play with him at Baltimore. Tampa seems down this year so i am happy to fade them.

Just looking at the Philly game--

Hamels was sharper vs MILW but still starting to unravel when struck by the liner . His key is really alot to do with velocity and still not sure he is in the low 90s . Without that 91MPH his changeup especially when not located well is a meatball because of the minimal seperation is speeds from his fastball...

He has owned Wash the past 7 times he faced them and think last 6 starts he allowed just 2 runs total ! Still Wash 09 is much better offensively then 08 IMO. Dukes is becoming a beast , Dunn was a great addition , Zimmerman is bouncing back after a medicore season , Nick Johnson is healthy , Flores is continuing to progress ....so this Wash lineup is drastically imroving imo ...

Lannan is not any better vs LHB then RH so that is probably why he has had some struggles vsPhilly . Still his last 2 starts in 08 were not bad vs them...

Also Lannan struggles this year vs LH may be exaggerated since the game @ ATL and @ FLA were his worst start and you can see Kelly Johnson and Jordan Schaefer had 3/4 days in a lineup usually boasting 4-5 LHBs. Next time he faced them he went 7 scoreless inn allowing just 5 hits . This year he is better at home so far which is the opposite of last season. The 2nd meeting Johnson was 1/4 , McCann 1/4 , Kotchman 1/3 and Schaefer 0/2 2bbs...

If you look at hilly in 2008 vs Lannan the numbers are better then just the career splits ..not good but better ..

Werth 3/8 2 solo Hrs but 1bb 5ks
Victorino 4/9 singles
Utley 3/9 rbi , singles , 1bb 3k
Howard 3/9 double 0bb 4k
Feliz 1/3 bb
Brunlett 1/3
Rollins 4/9 2 doubles , hr 4rbi bb

19/ 50 3 doubles 3hrs 6rbi 4bb 12K

The key guy Rollins is 2/15 vs LH hitting below 200 overall and only sports a 249 career avg vs Wash despite the lofty splits vs Lannan. The whole Philly team is 262 with 1 hr vs LHP so far and Ibanez is also struggling ...

Last 8 starts vs Wash when Hamels start the Phillies are 5-3 SU and 4-4 at +1.5 RL but 2-2 at home . Lannan last 2 starts are 1-0 and 3-2 losses. Then mix in Wash 5-6 L11 away vs LHSP but 4 losses by 1 run making them 9-2 on the +1.5 RL in those games ...

Feel confortable playing WASH +1.5 RL ....Lidge out , Madson closes only weakens the bullpen as well....so far Phillies are 3-0 SU an dover vs LHSP but that includes a win vs the FLA rookie , Parra who is usally terrible on the road and opposed soft tosser Moyer and vs DeLaRosa when the pen allowed a bunch of late runs at least 4 in the last 2 innings in an 8-5 loss....so under on my radar as well.....

Want to play MILW and BUSH then I looked at Wally Bell's log . He has unped 3 games so far and all had LHSP. Washburn defeated Weacer something like 13-3 , then Unit defeated Mad Max 2-0 , last start Tallet and Tor smoked CWS like 14-0 and if that doesnt help scare me ...last start of 2008 Danks started and won 3-0.....

In terms of Minn's home record they are 4-4 with 3 of the wins by 2 or more and their losses were 1 to tampa and Kaz and 3 to Toronto a very hot team that simply owns them and likes their park.

Right, but look at HOW they won. 2 of the 4 wins were comeback wins (Morrow implosion vs. Seattle and Kubel grand slam vs. the Angels). A 4-4 team really should be 2-6 at home right now. Niemann pitched yesterday, btw, not Kazmir.

GL on the play tuck, just disagree that there is ANY relevant data right now pertaining to the Twins. I don't feel too strong about trends right now regarding Liriano, or Baker for that matter. They are not the same team they have been in the last few years, and especially not with Mauer in lineup for offensive and defensive stability.

:shake:

Two games I see motivation in tonight:

Looking at getting down on the dodgers in some form even though theyre pricy (probably -1). Dodgers lost a tough one late yesterday, and tomorrow lincy is throwing against STULTS. to me this is pretty much where they avoid the sweep tonight behind their most consistent arm so far this year.
Billinglsey 4-0, 2.0 ERA this year/ and 3-0 2.8 ERA against SF----- while Sanchez is 0-1 5.63 ERA in 3starts against LA.
Big game for LA tonight IMO

Angels:

Two game series in baltimore with Angels throwing shane loux tomorrow in the day game/getaway game in which angels follow with traveling to NY for a big series with the yanks.
Not sure how much theyre really going to put into that game, with as bad as loux has been, and with yanks on tap afterwards, whereas I know motivation points to them tonight.

Saunders went to HS @ west springfield which is 10 minutes from where i went to HS and i can guarantee you his family will be in attendance tonight. Angels always look to perform well and give him run support against the o's and he's 4-1 against them (one loss was a bullpen fuckjob).

Already played the ML and was looking at the RL but at +25 not sure the value is there to lay -1.5 on the road, when i got -20 on the ML. The fact that the -1.5 is so low, when it should be about +40ish, tells me the books are well aware eaton is a "hit or miss" pitcher, and you really dont get anything in between with him. He either explodes, or gives you a very quality start. Eaton is still a fade in my book and im not sold against what he did about a whitesox lineup that has been shifted around by ozzie a lot and had some offensive struggles early on and is finally starting to click.

Just a big game/series IMO as the angels own the o's, and have won the season series the last 5 years (although may not apply here since its a 2 game series). angels 1-5 last 6 on road need to establish some momentum to kick off this 8 game road trip.

actually going to play the under in the 1st game ...think its a 1 run game ...Colon has done well vs SEA minus a few starts in the past 10 meetings despite ugly BAA ..

WSox have struggled offensively at home especially vs RHP. Who knows what the kid brings here but he was decent until until TB came in .....

also glanced at what Satyr posted about CWS DHs seemed just about every game was low scoring with the exception of two in the 1st game ....

gl

Bet that small. Played Reds ml and rl plus 70 cents for a unit. Not honestly sold on this play but when he has won Harang has won by 2 or more and Wandy has pitched very poorly with this Ump. actually every home win by the reds has been by 2 or more runs.

sea @ cws gm 1 : i would have a really tough time betting the under here. it is cold out but the base hits could be flowing. i was listening to the game on the radio last time colon was out there and they were ripping him. fastball wasn't getting in the 90's. not as much movement as when he was better early in the year. chisox offense as expected has been pretty hit and miss. i think this sox can scrape up 4-6 runs. i actually like seattle better than the over though. actually jakubauskas is not much of a kid, born 1978.

Cap the problem is the motivation cuts 2 ways. SF was swept by the Dodgers. To me the Dodgers are hot or cold. They have lost 2 in a row so they are not hot and Frisco is 7-2 at home and is being made a dog. Can not see betting against a team playing fairly well that is 7-2 at home and laying money odds.

Could be right. I bet under small just on rested pens. Might have been a mistake.

I played the Twins ML. I agree with everything Tuck and Nut said and would like to add what i have this game at and a stat.

My projection for this game is
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 165pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=219 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" width=64><COL style="WIDTH: 50pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2413" width=66><COL style="WIDTH: 67pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3254" width=89><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl24 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-TOP: #ebe9ed; BORDER-LEFT: #ebe9ed; WIDTH: 98pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ebe9ed; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ff99cc; mso-ignore: colspan" width=130 colSpan=2 height=17>Rays</TD><TD class=xl24 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-TOP: #ebe9ed; BORDER-LEFT: #ebe9ed; WIDTH: 67pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ebe9ed; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ff99cc" align=right width=89 x:num="2.8752611140541773">2.875261114</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl24 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-TOP: #ebe9ed; BORDER-LEFT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ebe9ed; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ff99cc; mso-ignore: colspan" colSpan=2 height=17>Twins</TD><TD class=xl24 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-TOP: #ebe9ed; BORDER-LEFT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ebe9ed; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ff99cc" align=right x:num="4.5471386792144459">4.547138679</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl24 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-TOP: #ebe9ed; BORDER-LEFT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ebe9ed; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ff99cc" height=17>Total</TD><TD class=xl25 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-TOP: #ebe9ed; BORDER-LEFT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ebe9ed; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ff99cc"></TD><TD class=xl24 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-TOP: #ebe9ed; BORDER-LEFT: #ebe9ed; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ebe9ed; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ff99cc" align=right x:num="7.4223997932686236">7.422399793</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I have it 7.5 adjusted so it didn't move from my previous projection.

To add a little stat i came across.
<TABLE class=data cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=2><TBODY><TR class=datahead><TD colSpan=4>Series Game Records</TD></TR><TR><TD class=datahl2>TB</TD><TD class=datahl2>O

</TD><TD class=datahl2>AW</TD><TD class=datahl2>AL</TD></TR><TR><TD class=datahl2>Game 1
Game 2
Game 3
Game 4
</TD><TD class=datacell>3-4
3-3
2-4
0-1

</TD><TD class=datacell>1-2
0-2
1-2
0-0

</TD><TD class=datacell>2-2
3-1
1-2
0-1

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=datahl2>MIN</TD><TD class=datahl2>O

</TD><TD class=datahl2>AW</TD><TD class=datahl2>AL</TD></TR><TR><TD class=datahl2>Game 1
Game 2
Game 3
Game 4
</TD><TD class=datacell>3-4
4-2
2-3
0-2

</TD><TD class=datacell>0-2
2-1
2-2
0-1

</TD><TD class=datacell>3-2
2-1
0-1
0-1

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

so what this tells me is in game 2 after a win the Rays are 0-2. In game 2 after a loss the Twins are 2-1. Just a little stat.

I agree with my CTG buddy that this line is a joke and is way off. We said Shields at home would have to be -150 or more like -170.I would jump on the Twins again if that was true.

Too add to my previous post i would like to say that i would lean under 8 for the game due to the fact that I believe the Twins win and thats 1 less at bat for the team. Something a good capper taught me to look at when playing totals. Plus I have this at 7.5 adjusted and its under the line. I would have played the under but found more value with the home dog.

AL

ana @ bal : eaton surprised me last time out against my sox but it may have been a bad offensive day instead of a dominating pitching day. whatever the case may be i kinda like the under. definitely pretty rough with balty pitching being what it is, maybe 1st 5 under is better. not sure about the side really but i wouldn't be surprised at all to see balty win in a low scoring game.

bos @ cle : i lost ridiculous amounts on cleveland yesterday and ill probably just stay away after that but my leans are boston and 1st 5 under. think penny is just getting better.

nyy @ det : i said yanks and over yesterday and the yank lineup continued to disappoint. today i like detroit. think detroit might tee off on ol' hughes. edwin might do alright so not sure about the total. but really like detroit.

oak @ tex : poor anderson has had a rough schedule. 1st 4 starts are sea, bos, @nyy, and now @tex?? i would say he's actually done pretty decent. i think this could be his best start against a banged up texas team. i have a solid lean to oakland and i think both Sp's could be dominant early but i will stear clear of the bullpens.

tor @ kc : already been discussed, not really sure of a side anymore but i think under should be golden.

tb @ min: also already discussed, actually really like TB.

sea @ cws gm 2 : i was exactly on with the line and total prediction, and i will gladly scoop up seattle and i saw the total opened at 8.5 which is what i said i wanted and moved to 8 which i said i would probably pass on, damn it... haha
