I don’t have a ton to discuss but feel like saying something!
i feel like Framber has fallen off a bit this year but he did go 8 innings against kc just a few weeks back, only allowed 2 runs and still took the L thanks to stros anemic offense that is even worse right now w Yordan still out. Not shocking since the royals have struggled to hit overall and it been worse vs lhp where they have a collective ops below .600. Valdez last 2 starts vs kc have been 15 total innings and just those 2 runs, overall In 120ish at bats Kc really hasn’t touched this guy with 19 total hits 8 of which extra bases which comes out to a .165 avg and a slug below .300. Hard to imagine Kc offense does much seeing how scoring runs isn’t exactly their strength and Framber has been damn near unhittable for them.
Bubic did not have the same success vs Stros in that series but I think he will pitch better this time around against a lineup that not scaring anyone anymore. Even with that start Stros with far fewer at bats barely hitting .200 vs Bubic and that past game Yordan did a great deal the damage which he still on the IL and not a threat tonight. All this screams
