sore shoulder missed his last start, not sure what to think about him tomorrow and that's a big price tag after how well CHC played tonight
That's why I tend to play volzquez at home on normal rest pratically automatically...if you check the past discussion threads on the days he pitched...Another thing w days of rest often imo overlooked is most of pitchers 6 days rest starts are on the road bc of the off day which is usually a travel day...which to me opens the door for the question is it a home / road issue or rest issue w 5 days or 6days...I think you have to pay close attention to home or away w/o using days of rest as a factor. Like I stats are simply a representation of past performances so if a guy has wide home/away splits not just for 2013 but last few seasons what are the stats going to show? ?
Thinking about both overs early for essentially the same reason --- home team vs a lefty--check houston and toronto at home vs lefties for a clearer picture. Looking at the last few lefties Jays faced, we see some big numbers and maholm kinda fits the style of those guys ...zito, saunders, etc....think I lean colorado ...basically after an extra inn game see Houston's pen as the bigger risk even w betancourt on the shelf.Lyles has faced tough lineups and hung tough but seems like just a 6 inn pitcher but DeLaRosa could be in the same category inn wise...maholm last 5 have seen ineffective road starts and have to think the early start benefits jays and morroe throwing hard ...

think morrow is starting....looking at phillies tonight,lee excellent against sox and sox 1-5 on tuesdays and dempster starting to look like we thought he would when we signed him,just can't see him being successful in the al....auto fade for a while....won last night with boston over but laying off tonight...lee too good against sox and if it were anyone but dempster i would go under
probably going with cinn....missed them yesterday because i forgot my phone when i left to tee off....going to fade cleve for a while....think they have blown their load and will regress...imo....(sorry tip)
still kicking myself for not betting yanks last friday against morrow.....big dog money but i was gun shy after morrow beat sox (i bet sox) with the catwalk pop fly....so i think i am going to go with kuroda tonight because the yanks know how to win and the mets know how to lose.....yanks have owned them for the last 15-16 games or so (i think)..anyone know how many pitches kuroda threw in his last two games?...he went deep in both

Philadelphia is 5-1 SU off their last 6 instances of losing 2 straight and then scoring at least 1 run (Dempster to shut them out? yeah, aha).
Yankees this season are 8-1 SU vs Toronto, and 22-19 SU vs everybody else. Only games vs the Blow Jobs hide how average this team is (much like how Oakland going 9-0 SU vs Houston hides how otherwise average they are at 20-23 SU). FTR Boston is 5-4 SU vs TOR, 27-16 vs everyone else.

NYY reasoning:-Harvey is a stud who is getting prices as if he's on a contender. Sadly, the Mets are not a contender and they're not a good baseball team either. I have a little concern about Kuroda after taking a liner off his leg last time out, but Girardi wouldn't have him starting if there was any concern here so I trust that he's healthy. Bullpens aren't close, lineups really aren't either even with all the injuries affecting the Yankees and the crowd will be full of people supporting the visitors. It will take a lot for Harvey to win this one as I think he will have to really toss a gem, but if he's not on then I don't see how the Mets win this game.

gw....i am almost surely going to be with you on the yanks....although bc stats have me wondering....my thoughts were simplified and aligned with yours....yanks find ways to win,mets find ways to lose...and i think the yanks have owned mets for like....ever...the kid on the big stage sets up well for us also....biggest game of his life...lol
Played the four I stated last night....Jays ml, over houston, over jays and rocks -1 and also added over jays tt...over @ houston was my biggest at 10u..rocks -1 5u , over jays 5u and over jays tt 5u and jays ml 7u......probably adding rocks tt over also....
I'm somewhat skeptical of Kuroda ( not talking about the yanks as a play as here), he just jad a long stretch with so so stuff where he exceled and pitchef well but labored nearly every start. Just feel that was going to catch up to if his stuff didn't improve or become more consstent...harvey definitely could becoming a victim of his successin terms of pricing because think mets won all but 2 of his starts and that's on a team like 10 games under 500....GL

Agree that kuroda was very fortunate early in the year not being sharp and getting away with being wild, but I think he's too solid to be like that all year unless something's wrong (liner aside)

Absolutely agree. Guess my cncern was he realy hadn't show any signs of pulling out of it and then he gets pulled last start....shitty here in ny could be a rain out not sure what the forecast is though...

News: Sale (shoulder) feels more comfortable heading into Tuesday's start against the Cubs following a side session Sunday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. (Mon May 27)
Spin: Sale's nod last Wednesday was scratched due to shoulder tendinitis, and considering he has eight quality starts in nine outings this season, he'll look to add to his 23.2 innings without allowing a run.

Nats ml 4u -- gausman still has to grow as we saw in his first start and Karns imo benefits greatly from making his debut at home.
Mets ml -- imo Kuroda leaving last start simply can not be discounted. Plus its chilly here and that was always a concern when Kurida arri ed in NY but also not good for reaggravating a minor injury + benefits harvey. The real edge here imo seems to be Harvey w some extra rest and yanka loing the dh but neveer faced hin either...so mets F5 5u ....mets ml 7u and -1.5 2u

Red Sox ml 6u -- many things I don't like but ultimately a bounce back spot for dempster and Lee of a fake CG vs miami ...miami strts don't really count
