Spurs when they lose this year. 1-6 ATS this season. The only cover at Miami. Spurs are very tired. They may get reinforcemnts but Pops is more interested in the war then pointless losing battles

Something stinks like shit with Denver. Everybody knows pop rests dudes/gives the occasional game away. Denver rolling ats lately, and nobody wins there on a b2b. Why would the book expose themselves with a -2.5 line yesterday? That's SO soft for this spot. If this comes back later today at 4.5-6.5 then chalk it up to a rare mistake from the book, but idk if they just make mistakes like that. Already seeing Denver love everywhere.

Easy play, Minnesota + 9. I watched the game last night and saw a pissed off Adelman frustrated with the team's play in the 2H.

I think their size advantage leads to easy buckets and should cover the 9.

I'm leaning Denver as well, but not sure I agree with the stats. In line -2, it's not that important that Spurs lose ATS as well as SU when they lose, because it's a very short line.
But, Spurs do have very good ATS (and SU) record playing off a loss.
I do believe in Denver because playing B2B in Denver never fun and really tries to give their home crowd a show every rare home game they have with their crazy schedule.
SAS on the other hand, have many injured and as you pointed out, Pop never cares about a particular game.
Last night, when SAS reserve players pulled within 8 points only behind Thunder, he never tried to get back his starting unit. That shows he doesn't care all that much. On the other hand, maybe it means he was thinking of tonight's game...

Strong lean to Denver, but can't pull the trigger on this one yet...
 
Locked the Overs in Chicago and LA.
Now looking at Cleveland and Nets.
It's about time for the other shoe to drop for the Raptors. Road really haven't been too friendly for them and I doubt Anderson will shoot 50% on the road as well, for second game straight.
Cleveland and Irving can really hurt Toronto in their weak places.

Nets should be easy win as well. Jazz very poor road team and D-Will finally has the right team to win his old team.
The fact that Nets been struggling lately, with Lopez out and him being a bit rusty in his comeback should only help. They are rested and hungry to win.
A bit worried about the potential look ahead, but think they will be more focused to handle buisness at home and not go to MSG with two straight losses behind them...

Well we know the jazz are going to run and they have the athletic big men that really help them in the transition game. I don't know what to make of dwills comments. He obviously thinks the offense that the nets are running does not suit him. And it doesn't. Too much ISO. Not enough ball movement. Not enough up tempo basketball. Avery has to adjust somehow because you need deron to get going. They do play the Knicks tomorrow but I don't think they look past the jazz.

I'd lean to the over but I am awful on NBA totals. Just not my thing.

Action is split 50/50.

The current Spurs would never be 4.5 - 6.5 in the Mile High City. Heck, they were +6 in South Beach without TD, Parker, Manu and Green. Could understand 3 - 3.5. In SA's favor, no starter logged more than 30 minutes last night. Pop knows, when the game was getting away he called off the dogs and the score ballooned out...

wrong emkee when news broke out that those four were out the line was actually +12

They opened at +6 - it moved to +13 once all those guys went home.

Having said that, you are right about the line - in a game where they'll likely be trading shots back and forth all night, which side do you favour to get stops when the time comes? My guess is not the Nuggets if it comes down to it.

That was quick. My bad, lazily checked the 'Blankets' history and pulled up the opening line. Spread was 13 but still, Vegas would never have the Spurs a 4+ dog in Denver and definitely not off a loss. Plenty a chaser will be riding the Alamo boys tonight...
 
line could definitely be higher and that worries me a little but the spurs record vs the nuggets record is what joe schmoes look at

With major look aheads coming up and playing a team they last beat by over 30. Bobcats play at Suns tomorrow. Not sure exactly how that operates for the Lakers
 
Half unit play on Washington plus 7. Was a no play till Nene was in but while Atlanta is in steam mode OKC tomorrow.
